Amanda over at A Few Short Cuts has a great option for all of us with crazy busy schedules – Crockpot Orange Chicken.
I am going to give this one a try. I love that this recipe only requires a few ingredients and that it is quick and easy. I am usually not a huge fan of chicken in the crockpot as it tends to get an odd texture but Amanda insists that this one is not mushy!! So I will give it a go!
Most of you will probably have everything on hand to make this dish. If you had to buy it, Amanda estimates that you could make this one for only about $2.19 per person! Head over and check it out!!

Amanda over at A Few Short Cuts has come up with another Meal Deal that you guys are going to love – Pork & Apple Cider Stew.
I was reading through this one and it just sounds delicious!! How can you go wrong with slow cooked pork, sweet potatoes and apples for a nice Fall meal?! The best part is that it is done in your crockpot so you will not have to spend all night in the kitchen!
I picked up a couple of sweet potatoes this week and had planned to bake them…but now I am thinking those babies may have a different future I have every single item on hand and I bet you might have most if not all too! Even if you had to go out and buy everything, Amanda estimates that this meal will only cost you $2.59 per person–that is a great deal!!

I can always tell it is fall when I wake up to find that the temperature is not already 90 degrees I love that little bit of coolness in the air. While we may not get the big bad winters that the folks up north see, it can still get mighty chilly here!
This is when I start thinking about soups and other great comfort foods. My crockpot usually gets quite a workout during this time!
Amanda over at A Few Short Cuts has come up with a great recipe that is perfect for this time of the year: Creamed Chicken & Biscuits.
This is a super simple recipe. Throw your chicken in the crockpot in the morning then the rest can be done in maybe 20-30 minutes! Sounds like a winner to me!
I bet most of you could make this from your stockpile!!
