Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday this year we will likely celebrate at home.  We have so much going on this weekend with my son’s birthday party that I am guessing that we probably will have to forego a night out and just have a nice family Valentine’s Day dinner  That works just fine for me and I will happily tuck away my entertainment funds for another splurge down the road…when the timing is better

Publix Italian Pizza dough is one of the Love to Shop Here Love to Save Here essential items this week at $1.99.  You could grab a ball of dough and raid your pantry for a super simple and very economical meal that the family would love.  The guys in my family are pizza fans…so I know this would be a hit at my house

The meal deal this week is: Crockpot Teriyaki Pork Chops & Side Salad with Grapefruit Dressing.  I am excited to try the grapefruit dressing.  Like many of you, I  have a few grapefruits thanks to the free coupon last week!

Today she has Spicy Peanut Chicken on the menu!  If I had not forgot fresh ginger when I was shopping earlier this week I would have everything I need.  You definitely have to go check this one out.  The best part is that you can make this for about $1.50 per serving…I’d say that is definitely a meal DEAL!

You see I had planned to make chicken pot pie for dinner tonight.  Last night I went ahead and cooked my chicken and it is ready and diced in the refrigerator. I have a bunch of pie crusts and so I just figured I would do the old stand by pot pie.  Then this great recipe arrived in my inbox!!

I am so excited to try a new recipe and you guys know I can’t turn down anything that has a mexican flair!  The great thing about this is that I will be able to make plenty for tonight and enough to freeze for later!!  I know I will be very happy about this on a night when I am just exhausted!

I am going to give this one a try.  I love that this recipe only requires a few ingredients and that it is quick and easy.  I am usually not a huge fan of chicken in the crockpot as it tends to get an odd texture but Amanda insists that this one is not mushy!!  So I will give it a go!

I was reading through this one and it just sounds delicious!! How can you go wrong with slow cooked pork, sweet potatoes and apples for a nice Fall meal?!  The best part is that it is done in your crockpot so you will not have to spend all night in the kitchen!
