Here is the sneak peek of the Publix ad and coupons that runs 2/27 to 3/5 (2/26 to 3/4 for some). This is the second week of the Italian Days sale. Time to stock up on some great items!
As a reminder, this ad has a shopping list to help you plan your trip. If you need any help just click the button on the shopping list page or go HERE to learn how to use this feature.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
When you see the checkmark – those items are either a great price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling, so if your store doesn’t double it may not be a stock up price for you.
Finally, make sure you click “Read More” to see the whole ad!

LOVE TO SHOP HERE, LOVE TO SAVE HERE (Week 2 of 3)
DO NOT CUT AND PASTE THIS AD WITH MATCHUPS TO ANOTHER SITE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!
Ha Ha! Thank you, Denise! I always wonder why people have to be so rude!
I agree. I don’t know why people are so rude/bitter. Some people are stuck in high school. Does it make you feel good to do that? Annoying! If you don’t like the first comments (which I do not participate in, but I don’t bully them for doing it either), then just scroll down, people!
Doubt its about manners. I’m sure it’s more about weeding out the non-sense comments. This site is about posting the deals
I don’t doubt it is about manners and some people trying to control things that are not in their control. Live and let live.
Thank you, Michelle. Other than the Viva Italian carryover, I don’t see too much.
The fresh step coupon is nla.
Anybody else notice that Publix is wayyyyy more expensive than other stores? And they stopped taking multiple $5 Winn-Dixie coupons. Last week was the 1st week that Publix got ZERO of my money.
I have most definitely noticed the higher prices at Publix. Our local Walmart is price matching Publix BOGO, but using the lower Walmart price. I thought that was going to be a good thing, but I was wrong. After price match shopping at Walmart for a couple weeks, I’ve come to realize that I’m so willing to pay extra for the Publix shopping experience. No one has kinder employees and cleaner stores than Publix, and the quality of Publix meats and produce is far superior. Maintaining my sanity while grocery shopping is certainly worth the higher price to me!!
Agreed , I to thought the Walmart price matching BOGO would be great . It’s been nothing short of disaster . Every week different rules on coupons depending on the cashier. One register open on Friday morning , cashiers can’t find items in the ad, makes the customers look up items for them ! had a manager from Walmart call me after I wrote a letter asking for clarification on the coupon policy with BOGOs , I was told NO you can’t use two coupons on a BOGO item , then I got an email from someone who had a manager of another walmart across town call her and tell her of course you can use two coupons when buying BOGO items ..just not worth the hassle …
I am more than willing to spend more at publix to not shop at Walmart. They are a scumy company that should be boycotted. The store manager makes $75,000 a year and yet they cut my husband hours when we live paycheck to paycheck. Then he gets yelled at for everything not getting done. Not to mention the quality of their items. They come to town and destroy local businesses and bring lower paying jobs. Pretty sure if walmart went out of business it would solve a lot of economic problems. Nothing against you Jennifer. you just gave me a spot to give a well needed rant. My husband had to work overtime last night till late. But he won’t get overtime pay. He’ll just have to cut his hours later on in the week. Aint that a great company?
Bitter? Get another job and stop envying your manager. Walmart International employs 2.2 million people. Bet you have some Walmart stock in your 401k or IRA.
We should all be bitter about what Walmart does to our country, our citizens, and the citizens of the world. Keeping their workers in poverty so that their employees can utilize the SNAP and Medicaid programs, rather than them having to pay for insurance like the law states, is part of how they do business and keep those ‘low’ prices down. As a tax payer I find this corporate charity reprehensible. Walmart employees represent the largest single group of welfare recipients.
Walmart doesn’t do anything to our country. Walmart doesn’t keep anybody in poverty. People keep themselves in poverty and utilize the SNAP and Medicaid programs. There is a local community college or technical school nearby. Walmart jobs are ENTRY LEVEL. Start taking some personal responsibility people. They aren’t forcing anybody at the point of a gun to work there. The workers aren’t slaves. They are employees out of their own free will. If you are talking about the healthcare law, businesses are going to do whatever it takes to avoid the higher costs. Any business would. They are out to make a profit. That is a problem with the law. You want to fix that problem, fix the poorly written law.
Prices have gone up and will continue to go up. Much of it has to do with the price of fuel to get products to market. Also, remember obama is mostly to blame for high fuel prices as he panders to his voting groups.Excessive regulation and the inability to drill oil in our reserves wich holds more energy than the far east counties that we send billions of $$$$$$ to yearly is obama voters fault and whom is to blame.
Another reason is the unions (another obama voting block),driving companies to be uncompetitive.
Also, by obama’s failed staggering wasteful stimulus spending, get ready for hyper-inflation. Your dollar will buy even less.
We need real soluctions so vote that way in 2014 mid-term elections and always help stop socialism and spread capitalism, freedom, preserve your liberty.
Just remember if you voted for obama and a communist- socialist socitity, you are begining to reap what you have sown.
You sound bitter…you said all of that because what? This is not a political website but a coupon saving site. LET IT GO!!!!
I can’t stand Wal-Mart. Even saving a few pennies here & there isn’t worth the hassle you go through to use a coupon or price match. I only go there in dire circumstances for emergency supplies as it is the closest big box nearby.
when I went to walmart to cash in on my wet n wild coupons this is what happened, I put my nail polishes on the belt (15 of them, I have 3 girls) and she rolls her eyes and looks at me like what do you need nail polish for. she scans them and throws them in a bag (one broke) and then I hand her the coupons…. she slammed the coupons down on the counter and started scanning them and hitting buttons on the computer like she was trying to poke a hole through it with her finger! I couldn’t help but smile and then when she was done she rolled them into a ball and threw them on her counter… soooo not exactly the best customer service…. don’t feel like going back… ever. I also got hair bands… lol
That’s sad 90% of the time or better the cashiers at my walmart are nice. Publix too. I hope your girls got to use their nail polish. Last time I got free lipstick with my coupons.
Shopping at Walmart with coupons will always be a terrible experience (which I have experienced many times) because 1) the cashiers and even some mangers seem to not know their own coupon rules and 2) the cashiers seem not use to receiving coupons. I tried to ad match a few weeks ago a Walgreens sale, and instead the manager said no because the ad says with card and she went looking for all sorts of documentation to find proof of this. She never found any such wording. I then showed her that their ad match policy states that they accept the following types of ads: “Preferred shopping card prices for specific items that are in a printed ad”. She went on to tell me that doesn’t mean that I think it means, that the Walgreens card is more of a discount card and it’s not like one can use the Walgreens card at Walmart, and so on.
I called corporate office, which all they do is take messages and refer it to a higher up manager at the store. After three to four calls because of no return call, a manager called me and apologized, told me that one doesn’t need the competitor’s ad (which I forgot that their ad match policy states, but I prefer to take the ad to make things easier / faster), and that he could offer me the items at the ad’s price even if the sale was over. Also, the entire Walgreen’s paper says with card, which I didn’t realize at the time. By the first manager’s logic, they wouldn’t be able to price match anything from Walgreens.
I have had a few issues here and there at Publix, with the most frustrating one being them not accepting my BOGO manufacturer’s coupon on a BOGO sale, but through corporate office, that eventually got resolved.
The cashiers at Publix are used to a coupon and sale environment, and are therefore generally more friendly and not upset with a customer who has coupons.
Regarding pricing at Publix vs. Walmart, with sites like these, for me the price always ends up being cheaper than Walmart, even if it’s just 50 cents or so. Plus, I always shop in sets of $30 because I get a $3 off $30 coupon from Recyclebank.
Is that a Publix $3/$30 coupon from Recyclebank?
What zip-code are you using for recycle bank?
Totally agree with you Robert. Using coupons when shopping at Walmart is truly a nightmare…I have tried more than once…thinking ok maybe I got just a clueless cashier or whatever..NOPE! they are all the same clueless about coupons and coupon policy, no customer service whatsoever, etc..Once I end up with a manager making faces at me…when trying to use ONLY two coupons in a shopping worth more than 70 dollars…its really not worth it all the aggravation.
I so agree I just Love Publix in everyway!! The Best grocery store ever!!
I personlly find them more resonable than most stores especially with all the store coupons they offer. I can see why they would not be able to take the $5.00 competitor coupon.
I find the prices she list here are usually much lower in my store. Some things anyway. I find too that prices are just higher everywhere and that includes Walmart. I will not step foot in a walmart. Publix customer service is by far better, and much cleaner also. More coupon friendly too, and as for the winn dixie comp coupon well we are lucky they take just one. I am happy with that.
I also love my Publix i rather pay the extra than go to Walmart ….for me it’s about customer service!
Not mine, I always have a 60% discount and can still stack and use as many $5 off $30 as I need. I seriously have the best cashier and will only shop when she is there.
I mean save 60% or more every time I shop
BOGO Free deals are really misleading to the customer and the employees, in my opinion. As a customer, I believe I am not really getting anything for FREE, but merely paying for each item at half off, so I am really purchasing both items at a discount. Like instead of an item being advertised for 50 cents each, it’s advertised as 2 for $1, or Buy at a $1.00 and get one FREE! It makes me think that it’s a much better deal.
I’m aware of the limit of only 2 BOGO deals per household per day at Walmart. Though I had an issue with a Walmart cashier too about being told to use only one coupon for the BOGO Free deal, but I mentioned that their coupon policy does not state that. When I contacted customer service, I was given a link to their coupon policy. On their policy it states, one coupon per item purchased. I didn’t see a wording that says anything about using only one manufacturer coupon for a BOGO deal, as far as I know. I also said that the BOGO free deal is a Walmart deal and manufacturer coupons that match the items are a whole other deal.
Buitoni Filled Pasta, Assorted Varieties, 9 oz (Excluding Riserva), 2/$7
-$1/1 Buitoni Pasta or Sauce, exp. 3/31/14 (Publix Coupon Publix Uncorked)
This is a manufacturer’s coupon, not a Publix coupon. There is only one Publix coupon in the Uncorked booklet: the $1/2 Ghiradelli coupon. All the other coupons in that booklet are MQs with barcodes and no LU#s.
How can I get the uncorked booklets?
Which green giant veggies are bogo? Are they the boxed ones?
Valley Fresh or Seasoned Steamers, 11-12 ounce bag.
no it is the steamer bags
I got a Target flyer in my paper about 3-4 weeks ago. It says something about Resolutions? Solutions. There is a $1 off 16-172 oz. All laundry detergent that expires 2/28/14.
Have the Dixie paper bowls been bogo lately?
Rite Aid has BOGO on Dixie products this week. Not sure if all stores carry bowls.
No. I’m thinking it should happen soon. They go BOGO 2-3 times per year and it’s definitely been several months.
Is this not the same weekly ad as last week?
Seems like a lot of repeats to me.
Thinking the same thing!
A lot of the same items. I’m grateful — I might not be able to get to Publix before the current ad is up.
Our Publix is really irritating me. The not-so-great sales they have lately, in combination with them dropping to only having one competitor (had three and the one we have now doesn’t have $/$$ q’s available), and placing limits of 2-4 on the sale items with good match ups, means I will spend more of our money at the local family owned supermarket.
I’ll have to check out the changes. (Maybe Michelle can do a post….?) If I can’t get what I need at Publix or in one trip, it might mean some (sad) changes to my shopping habits. I know BOGO deals are (now) limited to 5 deals. That might be reasonable — except that some people live close enough to Publix to make multiple trips in a week, or they have multiple Publixes in there areas. It seems so unfair to some of us that have only one Publix – and at a distance.
(Correction: “there” s/b “their”. Silly, but my little errors bother me. )
I must be lucky. Yesterday I got 7 BOGO deals on the Yakisoba and with 7 coupons got them all for free, though it might be that I quietly did self checkout and did not need any cashier help to do the deal. I guess the limits are enforced by a human and not by the register. No human, no problem. So I really don’t know if my store has BOGO limits at all as I always do self checkout. And yesterday my store took 2 Winn Dixie $5/$30 coupons which did require the cashier’s assistance. Probably my luck won’t last but I’ll enjoy it while I can.
Where are some Publixes that have self-checkouts? I want to go to one and check it out. The ones by me are all cashiered. Hit or miss on the nice factor.
Sandy Springs area in Marietta, GA has self-check
Garden Shops in Boca Raton, FL has self checkout
I don’t mind the enforcement. I am really tired of not being able to get the razors and other deals because certain shoppers come in and wipe out every store in my area (at least 6 local stores) before 9 am on the first day of the sale and then the item takes a couple of weeks to get in stock. That is not fair particularly since the manufacturer coupon clearly states no more the 4 like coupons! Half the time I only want two as I only get two newspapers
another bad week
Is there any way to print the Italia coupons?
Yay for Zatarain’s
Our Publix used to be really awesome about coupons….here lately I got my first “eye roll” when I handed them my coupons and they tripled checked every item etc…I’ve become increasingly anxious about my couponing etc as I shop there now. They used to congratulate us on our savings and were really encouraging…not so much now.
Change cashiers? I know not all of them act that way, and i just tend to go with the ones i know treat me right.
That’s so weird you should say that. I live in GA between 3 Publix. Lucky. I started going to one bc it was closer and then had these same issues twice within 24 hour period. They actually refused to scan a coupon for the Alexia, when I asked why, I was told because it was already free. I asked if coupon policy had changed. No. I ended up going on Publix.com and writing a letter. I praised one Publix and brought up my issues at the other. They were right on top of it and escalated the email. I received a call from the store mgr who apologized up and down and said they are training their cashiers better on coupons, etc. They were really nice and stated that if I ever had issues to ask for him and they would reimburse me for the coupons they refused. You may be able to resolve some issues by sending an email or calling. Sometimes management doesn’t know these issues are happening.
BEFORE you email corporate, when you have a coupon issue, ask to speak to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager right after you have finished shopping. If they don’t solve your coupon issue then and there-tell them you will be contacting coporate for clarification. No Store manager wants to have an email from corporate telling them to sharpen their customer service skills. Basically the email says “make that customer happy NOW!and respond with your solution to the issue.”
-$2.50/1 Fresh Step Cat Litter printable (if valid at stores other than PetSmart)
It says this coupon is no longer available.
Another terrible week. Looking for bogo on Rays NY bagels or Finagle a bagel (frozen.)
Prices keep going up at Publix.
There is a .70/1 fruit coupon wyb Kelloggs Raison Bran on Coupons.com.
Going to take a break this week thanks for the early add
MY NEWSPAPERS NEVER HAVE THE TARGET COUPONS IN THEM. IS THERE A WAY TO GET THEM WITHOUT PRINTING?
Try inserts from another city…http://www.sundaycouponinserts.com/ or coupon clipping services from the southeast http://couponfleamarket.com/ http://www.mycouponhunter.com/ http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com/ hope this helps
Please stop shouting
I actually think the bigger print is easier to read. dont be rude.
Hi Tabetha,…My experience with Target coupons are that the majority of them are only available as printables from their own website. Only occasionally do we find Target Q’s in the Red Plum or Smartsource flyers. By the way, 99.9% of us were not offended at your all caps post , some people just love to be nit-picky. Hope you have a great day.
Sorry about all caps. That’s how we put in people’s information where I volunteer and I forgot to change it. I really didn’t think it was that big of a deal. I apologize.
This coupon already ended

I had planned a whole list this past Saturday for the sale. I got to my store and no where did I see the Viva Italia coupons. I didn’t even see any advertisements, either, other than the weekly ad. I still managed to stock up at half price, which is still okay. I just managed to break even. So I wasn’t too excited about my trip. lol But you win some; you lose some. I don’t really see anything worth going back for this week. I have also noticed a pattern… the coupon inserts have slowed down and so have the sales (especially since a lot of them just expired). It’s about time for those inserts to pick back up, right??
Also, I would not trade my Publix service for any other store.
I had no Viva Italia coupons at my Publix, either. I found a small display with Green Giant and Hunts Publix Qs, but that was it! I was expecting this big flyer, so was disappointed. Sent my husband in earlier in the week to find it and just thought he didn’t know what he was looking for. It wasn’t there. So… using those manufacturer’s coupons w/o a lot of extras. Still save a lot, but not as much as normal when I can add Publix coupons also.
I have learned that SOME Publix stores do not put out their standees with the coupons so that people won’t take the coupons all at one time. They actually keep the coupons behind the customer service desk…you might want to ask customer service the next time this happens.
Tough crowd this morning! Thanks for the matchups Michelle
Thank you Michelle. I appreciate all of your time and work to help everyone else save money. Kudos to you!!
I have 4 publix stores within a 12 mile radius & none of them are on the same page with coupons MF or Competitor. I have 8 Winn Dixie stores within a 15 mile radius & all of them are on the same page, I do a $33 sale put a space bar down & do another $33 sale & so on & each sale, I use my MF’s & my $5 WD cp. They enjoy watching the savings however they are slow, they do not take a cp on both bogos but I can work it “usually”. Publix, is a nicer store however bottom line I have to save as much $ as possible and trade where I can do so without 25 trips to a Publix store in one week. Thanks Michelle, so thankful for the carry overs as I have only managed 3 trips of $30 each this sale, due to work & sick family
I love Monday mornings thanks to your work, Michelle! Thank you!
BTW I had a 35-cents off any Softsoap liquid hand soap 7.5 oz or larger in the 2/23 SS insert.
I’ve bought almost nothing in the past 3 weeks, so I’ll be stopping in to get some of these deals this week. Thanks for the early list so I can plan.
Thanks Michelle for all the work you do

Anyone actually get the “Love To Shop Here, Love To Save Here” section in their ad? I know it’s supposed to be week 2 of 3 but I’m not seeing it anywhere in my ad.
It never appears in the ad during the 2nd and 3rd weeks, but those items should be on sale. You can always price check to be sure
