happy friday Weekly Totals 12/6 Share Your Savings

Happy Friday everyone.

I hope you guys had a great week. It took me a while to get back on track from our travels last week. It’s funny because that Central time difference is just an hour but it really messes with all of us. Of course the boys get off their schedules and now that Jake can tell time there is no way he is going to bed when the clock says 7:30. I try to explain that it is really 8:30 our time but he will not go for it. Plus they are excited to be in a new place. Add in that 7 hour drive and I need a few days to recuperate!

To top it off, my little Jeb-a-doo came down with a cold. He has been very pitiful the past couple of days. Add in my to-do’s, appointments and such and shopping was out of the question this week.

My husband stopped by the store and picked up a bag of apples, a box of clementines and a gallon of milk. I had plenty of meat in my freezer and enough on hand to get us through this week with no problems. I will need to go this weekend to grab a few things…but I am happy to report that we made it through the week spending under $15. Cooking from the pantry/freezer is a great way to get creative and make sure you use the things you have on hand.

Our son lives in the Central Time zone and when we go to visit I want to go to bed when the grandchildren do because I am so sleepy way too early. :) It is hard to get going again after Thanksgiving and we don’t even have any kids at home anymore.

wow even 8:30pm is still very early to me to go to bed. You guys must wake up super early in the mornings.

Tee hee…yes my boys are 6 and 7 and have to be up early to go to school. I can’t never get in bed before 11 but they are still little and need their rest!

I always have to say it, but I love Publix. I usually buy diapers and pull ups at drug stores, but this time of year the sales are never as good. Thankfully, publix had the deals. I bought: 3 Huggies Pull Ups, a 224 ct of Huggies wipes, 4 Goldfish crackers, 4 Immaculate cookie dough, 8 Scotties tissues, bleach, 2 $50 gift cards and spent $119 including tax.

Well, running behind this week, as tonight I’ve been designing the darn cards on snapfish for two hours! Ready for the New Year!!:) so this week was good, picked up a few things so I could grab a $10 off $50 visa gift card which is a great deal. I may have to put a list together again this week so I can grab another one as I’m slowly thinking of more and more gifts I’ve forgotten. Thanks as always michelle your other site iheartsavingmoney has really helped me out this year with saving on gifts too. Hope y’all get back on schedule!
