Here are a few things to keep in mind:
When you see the checkmark – those items are either a great price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling, so if your store doesn’t double it may not be a stock up price for you.

Thx.. The Home run pizza q is no longer available..
Is it just me or are the prices getting higher and higher. If it weren’t for the $5/30 WD q, I would shop at Walmart exclusively.
On another note, I heard that Publix is changing their coupon policy on the 1st. Has anyone else heard this?
I’ve not heard this and I’ve not noticed any different rules. Maybe it’s just a regional crack down? I’ve heard some south Florida shoppers talking about restrictions. I am in central Florida.
Hadn’t heard about coupon change? Do you know any details. I would hate to make a publix plan for week and then it get changed up on me at register.
My local Publix will now only accept one Target per guest, where before, for example on a BOGO item, I could use 2 mq’s stacked with 2 Target coupons. Not anymore. Apparently, Target recently changed the wording on their coupons and it says “one coupon per guest” and Publix is enforcing it. I don’t know about after the 1st…hope things don’t get too strict.
Be thankful that your store takes Target. Mine has not for many years and when they did they only took one Target coupon anyway. In my area Bi-Lo is where the deals are since they take up to 10 from every store in town.
My Publix will only take one specific Target q for a certain product. It keeps you from getting several deals on one product. But I can use a (1) different Target q on another product. Been that way at least for 6 mths.
Honestly, your store should only take 1 TQ/product because that is what Target coupons say on them.
My store is well aware of the “One deal per guest” wording, and they have always accepted multiple anyway. I just did this today, actually, with no problem. I hope they’re not going to start enforcing that!
All of the Publix in my area will only take Kroger paper Coupons. Kind of a joke since I have never had a Kroger paper coupon only digital. Oh well, I still love Publix and will keep on shopping there.
The south of Birmingham area Publix stores are no longer taking Target coupons. They say the Target is too far away to be a competitor, but none of the stores moved. I think it was just costing them too much money. I may have to drive to the Hoover area Publix stores to be able to use the Target coupons. Not being able to use the Target Qs is really going to hit my budget hard.
Carol, if you are in the Pelham area, both the store at tank farms & on hwy 31 & 261 still take them as far as I know. I think Calera still does too. Good luck
Also I found a $1/1 skinny cow peelie at my local Publix to match the candy deal!
-Thank you Michelle!
Calera accepts Target, Winn-Dixie, and Piggly Wiggly as competitors. They just put up a nice new sign in the window this week. HTH!
Can I ask which stores are not taking Target coupons? I live around Birmingham.
I am with you. I used to go strictly to Publix and maybe Winn DIxie for meats when they had great deals. With Walmart price matching their Bogos at way lower prices… Im hitting Walmart a lot more. I have three kids a tow as well plus coupons are more popular and I would find bare shelves. Good luck to all, but I am now picking up the Publix ad to take it to Walmart. Here are a few examples: The other week bacon was Bogo and so were Kraft or Borden cheeses. Walmart price was $.98 for the bacon and $2.25 for the cheese. I stocked up at that price with no coupons. I also have gotten crystal light at BOGO $2.50 where Publix Bogo Here runs over $3 if not $3.99. Hopefully walmart will continue matching and it will avoid me hassling with the Winn-dixie booklet people as well.
My Wal-Mart upcharges to the publix price on bogos so might as well go to publix.
Have you tried that recently? My Walmart told me that they have always “price matched” the BOGO’s, but in the past they did it at the other stores price. It was an actual “match”, as opposed to beating the price. They change they made recently was to match the BOGO’s at their price instead, so they are beating the competitor’s price, not matching it. If you haven’t checked in a while, you might want to ask.
I tried a few weeks after they started advertising that they matched bogos. And actually I would have been paying more because first one would be publix price and second one a penny.
They are wrong to price match to publix shelf price for BOGO because they advertised, “whats a BOGO if the price is a NOGO?” this means they price match BOGO’s at their price.
My walmart won’t price match any bogo that says “save up to”… they will only price match bogos that say “buy X product at X.XX and get 1 free”… and then they will price match it at the advertised price, not the wal mart price. I have sworn off of wal mart. Everytime I go my store makes up a “new” policy. Doesn’t matter if you show them the corporate policy… hasn’t changed with the 20 times I have called 1.800.walmart over the past 2 1/2 years. They let me price match oranges from aldi, but “you can’t price match the pineapples”…. “You can’t use coupons on price match items”… and the list goes on and on… some “new” policy everytime I walk in. I figure if they want to work so hard on making me an unsatisfied customer then they must not want my business
We’re in Central FL and were (rudely) notified by Publix managers that they are limiting the number of any one item on sale to 10 per customer.
Actually this has always been a unofficial limit, Its the same as the quantity limit on the rain checks.
Hi Jen I also live in CF, for that has been the rule for the past three years. Not that I completely agree with it, just more trips than usual.
This is the way it’s always been for us, we are South of Atlanta.
My store just started enforcing this also. But it only applies to the BOGO’s. All other sales have no limit. Might not make a difference for you if you only shop BOGO’s, but worth asking about.
My local store (South Florida – Boynton Beach) informed me tonight, that they are no longer allowing you to stack the $5/30 Winn Dixie coupons, i.e. total basket $150 would mean you could use 5 Winn Dixie coupons (YESTERDAY). However, they could not tell me if they would require us to split the orders, go to the car and come back in for another check out, one per day, or what. I guess they are cracking down. Seems like we go through these spells. Our local Winn Dixie did the same crack down a couple weeks ago.
No worries, there are other places to shop, including Walmart!
Thank goodness that I have probably 8-10 Publix stores within a 10 mile radius of my house. I’ll just hop from store to store spending $30 at a time.;)
Karina I am in Boynton Beach too- which store is this? I wonder if it’s one of mine that I shop in. We have a bunch of $5 off $30 Winn Dixie q’s from the entertainment book and it would be a shame if we can’t use them!
I also live in Boynton and just yesterday used 3 in the same trans, with no problems at all! The cashiers all know me there so I never have any problems unless its a new cashier! I have used more then 1 per trans many times and only once was told o we can not do that any more I ask if she would just ask the mgr and see if it was ok and the mgr said go ahead its fine!
i never thought i could do that, i just use one per shopping trip
We’ve been told that we had to split the orders, so we do… my husband does one order and I do the other. Sometimes he even goes and does three trips by himself… putting stuff int he car between trips and saving the cold stuff for last. It works, especially since the managers at the Tampa Publix store on North Dale Mabry & Bearss are so rude. What can they say to us leaving and coming back? Even if it’s only for three minutes.
The prices are getting higher, but not just because Publix is trying to make more money. The cost of goods is on the rise. Dairy prices are climbing fast. The price of milk will probably go to $4.29 in the next couple months.
As far as coupon policy, the policy is to stay in effect as is for now. However, many stores have been very selective on enforcing certain rules such as one publix Q per item. Or the policy of one $ off $$ competitor coupon per customer per day regardless of the number of separate transactions. Just what I’ve heard… nothing official.
I have not heard about a policy change. And the prices at the Publix here are way lower than WalMart and Kroger. WalMart does not do bogos or accept competitor’s Qs.
Thanks, Michelle! Hope you and yours have a blessed and wonderful new year!
Thanks for the early preview! Hope you all have a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Is anyone else having trouble with the .50 off one trix?
I can actually not getting any of the coupons to pull up on the spanish site.
It worked in internet explorer ONLY for me.
I tried in Internet Explorer and that worked for me too. Thanks.
Thanks Michelle! Looks like a good week!!
I cant the the $2/1 Fresh Step or Scoop Away coupon to print. Anyone else having these issues?
Me too. I don’t even see where the coupon is on the site :/
Is Publix closed on New Year’s Day??
On New Year’s Eve, all PX stores are open at regular hours and close at 9 p.m. According to my PX, it will be open on NY Day from 7-7. Some will be open later.
Thanks Michelle. Appreciative all that you do. Happy New Year!!!
Is anyone having problems being able to print from the Kellogg’s site? I just ordered two $1.50 off Rice Krispie coupons. When I clicked the Brick’s link, I was told I had already printed the Qs. I called Kellogg’s and was told they are switching to a new coupon printer provider and we may not be able to print their redeemed Qs during the transition. The CS rep put double my points back in my account and told me to try again after the conversion is complete. He said it should be done in enough time to print for the upcoming Publix sale.
I had printing problem this morning. I switched over to FIREFOX and printed with no problems. Good Luck.
I couldn’t print with Firefox, so switched to IE and still could not print them. Kellogg’s sent me some $1 off ANY Kellogg’s product as a consolation gift and those won’t print either. I’ll keep trying! I can always buy the product and take the Q’s back to Publix later to get the cash.
I have a hard time printing Kellogg’s coupons too, I’ve never been able to do them from Firefox. Usually they work for me from IE, but I usually try to print one of the regular clipable coupons before I try to redeem a reward.
thank you michelle! I was hoping for somow cleaning deals but maybe next week Happy New Year!
Do you have a Hormel pepperoni coupon from target that you can share. they had 1.00 off if two Hormel pepperoni products and can be used with the manufactured one. I can not find it on target website today.
gas card 2 weeks in a row? wow. a 1st?
i expect to see more of those gas card deals in 2014. Winn Dixie/BiLo is adding 130 stores in the southeast. The Fuel perk gimmick is bringing W/D out of debt.
I recently was shopping at Publix and was told that I can not use a Publix and a Target coupon together. I was told it was like using two coupons on the same item. The coupons I was intending on using was a Publix coupon B1G1F for Kraft cheese , the target on the other hand was buy 2 get the third free. I was told that is on the same item, I don’t see how when they are two different coupons. They advised me Publix policy is one Publix or Target that can be stacked with a manufacture. Two managers said you cant stack a Publix and a Target. I read the policy its not clear about this. We live in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Would really appreciate an answer on this. I know my local Publixs are being hit hard with some real extreme couponers, so I would like to follow the rules.
i believe you cannot stack a publix store q and competitor store q for the same item.
so if you’re buying a kraft cheese deal, you cannot use BOGO publix q and stack B2G1 target q with those items. how many kraft cheese were you trying to buy?
if you have 1 of each store q, and you picked up 5 then i think it’s okay. publix q will apply to 2 items, then target q will apply to 3 items.
Coupon stacks are publix and manufacturer or competitor and manufacturer, not publix and competitor
Is the gas coupon in a mailed advertisement for publix or is it something you can pick up in store? I’ve requested multiple times to be mailed publix ads and never get them :/
It’s in the weekly flier. You can just pick it up at the kiosk:)
or you can print it from the publix main website as well
Bounty Towels $1.00 off and Crystal Light coupons not showing on Coupons.com. Perhaps I need a special zip?
Just an FYI when you get frustrated about what coupons Publix will accept – the stores are reimbursed by the manufactures for manufactures coupons, they are not reimbursed for competitor coupons so they lose money when they honor them. They do it as a way to try and keep your business and keep you shopping with them but with so many people taking advantage they’re having to get stricter. Honestly it’s because of people taking advantage of coupons, stacking, etc. that are ruining it for everyone else. My husband is in management with Publix and he said he sees daily people buying groceries, using coupons, paying little to nothing for a cart full of groceries and a week later those same people returning items without a receipt and getting cash back or a gift card equivalent. Because Publix is trying to be able to keep their policy to take any item you aren’t satisfied with, no questions asked, no receipt required, they’re having to crack down on the couponing from the point of purchase. At least with the manufacturer reimbursing for coupons presented they aren’t losing as much if it’s returned when it’s a competitor coupon match they lose money at the point of sale and again when it’s returned. Dishonest people taking advantage and ruining it for the rest of us.
That is insane! It has never occurred to me to do that. What a shame that people like that will ruin it for those of us who simply need the savings that come along with a BOGO and a coupon. Dishonesty prevails again.
People are crazy, but at the same time, I’m willing to bet those people are the exception not the rule. Perhaps it would be better to require a receipt in order to receive cash back or receive a Publix gift card with no receipt. I think that’s fair and it doesn’t punish people for using coupons in accordance with the Publix coupon policy.
I work for Publix we try to make sure everything we do is for the customer as a whole. Making everything a pleasure isn’t just a saying its a way of life for everyone who works at Publix. Changing the policy of making any returns a pleasure would make people upset and Publix is not in the business to upset any customer period.
Michelle (hope I’m not repeating, sorry if I am!), there is a $2 off 1 Fresh Step cat litter coupon on targets site to go with the sale and mani q.
Just a heads up that there is a coupon that should go with the Ronzoni sale if your store carries it – http://ronzoni.newworldpasta.com/pasta_coupon.cfm
Can’t fint the Betty Crocker $0.50/1 fuit snacks coupon. Is it all gone already?
Probably, I saw it once and went back 2 minutes later and it wasn’t there
There are coupons in the health & beauty ad that expires tomorrow for Duracell batteries! With the sale & manufacturer coupons these could be a good deal!
Does anyone know how to do the Special K MIR eligible items? I placed the codes on the kellogs website but it never gave me Publix as an option to select from the menu so I put other and then typed in Publix. I am not seeing where you are able to redeem it for the ten dollar card though?
Please, be aware that there were changes at least at my Publix, they are only accepting a $5.00 coupon from Enjoy the City per customer per day. I was informed AFTER I finished my shopping while ready to pay, I left the store WITHOUT my groceries and went shopping at Winn Dixie, they gave me no problems, they had the same items on sale AND accepted Publix coupons as well.
My Winndixie always accept only I coupon for their order. And they haven’t taking any competitors coupons. Since Publix has start having the official coupon policy the store which is closest to me has been accepting only 1 Winndixie coupon as well, but they allow to put 2 different transaction for $30.00+ in one shopping trip ( maybe because to complain would take longer)
