If you have a question about couponing at Publix, this is the place to find the answer! Each week my buddy Christy and I have a little coupon question and answer session here on Ask I Heart Publix. Keep sending in those questions – we love to answer them! Just remember if we didn’t get to your question this week…we will do our best to cover it another week!!
Remember–there is a tab at the top of the site under “About” titled “Ask I Heart Publix” where you can find the questions and answers from past weeks!
Here are this week’s questions:
- If I have a rain check from one Publix store, can I use it at another?
- I have a couple questions about the Enjoy the City Book Deal – can you help?
- Can I use a B1G1 Publix coupon, a B1G1 manufacturer’s coupon with a BOGO sale?
- Do you have any inexpensive gift ideas?
- Where can I find the new I Heart Publix forum?
And here are the answers!
1.Gina wants to know: If I have a rain check from one Publix store, can I use it at another? I noticed the store number and address is stamped on the back; does that mean it can only be used at that location?
You might want to check with your customer service desk before you shop next – that way you don’t run into any snags at checkout. My rain checks have always been stamped with the specific store’s info and I have always felt that since that store was the one who issued it (b/c THEY were out) I was to use it there.
I also noticed this over on the Publix Coupon Policy Q & A – I know we see questions about this from time to time:
Q: What if I have a rain check and a coupon for an item, but the coupon is now expired, though it was valid on the date the rain check was issued. Can I still use the coupon on the item?
A: Yes, Publix will accept the coupon that was valid on the date the rain check was issued.
2. Ronnie wants to know: I have a couple questions about the Enjoy the City book deal. First, is the “Southeast Region Ultimate Savings Edition (also called Online Savings Edition) a tangible book, or will I have to print out the coupons? Second, when do the $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupons in the book expire?
Yes, the Southeast Region Ultimate Savings Edition (or Online Savings Edition) is a tangible book that will be shipped to you. The books that are on sale right now have an expiration date of December 2014 – so you will have plenty of time to use them before the expire. If you want to find out more about Enjoy the City books, you can check out the deal over here.
Per the Publix Coupon Policy:
We will accept a manufacturer’s coupon and either a Publix or a competitor coupon on the same item.
The sale price of the item should not have a bearing on the coupons that Publix accepts for it – so you should be able to use both coupons with the sale. If you ever have a question – my advice is always to check with your customer service desk before you shop. I would much rather know the answer to my question before I am standing in the checkout lane
Of course! You can check out my other site I Heart Saving Money. I share a ton of deals there, including lots of gift options. Definitely head over on Black Friday…there are sure to be a ton of great deals!
The forum has gotten a little facelift and has moved over here (you can also always find it by clicking on the “Forum” link at the top of the page). If you haven’t visited lately, you should check it out…there are ton of nice folks over there and it’s a great place to meet other couponers, share Publix deals, and trade coupons.
I hope our answers to these questions were helpful! Make sure you ‘tune in’ next week for even more Q&A with I Heart Publix. We are really running low on questions to answer, so if you have a question you’d like to see answered, PLEASE send it in!! Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
