I got the kids off to school this morning and while I was tidying up a bit the dogs started barking like crazy. I looked out my window at saw a ton of deer. There had to be 8 or more deer in my backyard. It was amazing. Definitely not something I would have had at my old house. I ran to grab my camera but by the time I got it, the crazy dogs had scared them away. Maybe I will get another chance soon.
I didn’t do much shopping this week. My husband had to go back to Atlanta earlier this week and was able to pack up my kitchen pantry and brought everything from my fridge and freezer. All that’s left to bring up to Tennessee is my overflow pantry and the contents of my deep freeze. That’s going to be a doozie!
Thanks to his trip, I didn’t need to spend much moolah this week. But I will need to hit the store this weekend. I am out of fruits and fresh veggies. I am also down to one pack of my Thomas’ English Muffins and need to stock up while they are on sale …AND–I might just need to pick up some ice cream– tee hee!
Here’s what I grabbed this week.
Parsley = 79¢
Basil Plant = $2.99
Bananas = $2.09
Italian Sausage = $2.50
Parmesan = $1.89
Jolly Time Popcorn = $0 (free prod Q)
Publix Marshmallow = $1.39
Irish Spring, $2.39
Publix Soap, $1.79
I was under $25 for the week – not great but at least I came in under budget. I should have a bigger list next week. Hopefully with better savings too
