Welcome to this week’s Publix Super Meals. Each week I am going to share a recipe to help you take the Publix Super Deals and turn them into Publix Super Meals!

This week I am sharing a super simple recipe that my guys devour…and I mean big time! Here is my recipe for – Broccoli, Ham and Cheese Ring. I have a feeling when my boys are older I will have to make two of these for dinner. My oldest son is not a big eater but will eat a quarter of this ring all by himself!

I got this recipe when I went to a Pampered Chef party. The first time I made it I knew it was a keeper and I have been making it for many years since. As you can see in the picture I used a metal pizza crust. I personally prefer using a pizza stone for this recipe. I think the crust is just better on the pizza stone. But…do you know where my pizza stone is right now? Yeah…me neither–tee hee. I would guess it is in one of the million boxes I have in my garage right now.

Grab a few ingredients and you can have this one on the table in no time flat. Hopefully your family likes it as much as mine.

    What a awesome idea!

Wow, I make a recipe super similar. I don’t do mine in a ring, I do mine in a braided loaf and I use a little mayo instead of lemon juice, and you’re right it’s a winner!! I’m so grateful when we get the BOGO Smithfield ham steaks because they are perfect and this is on the menu at least once a month!!

i love this recipe. My mom used to make something similar with bread dough. I think I am going to try it. I think you can use all kinds of fillings. I am a vegetarian, so I am thinking of lots of veggies and cheese and mushrooms. Even frozen mixed veggies could work.

The bread dough is a great suggestion! Using both crescent rolls and ham is just so much salt.

I’m a vegetarian also and I like this with spinach, mushrooms and cheese. It is very tasty that way. Might even be good with some fake meat of some sort in it (maybe some of the fake lunchmeats?).

  4. Connie says:

Thanks for showing how to lay out the crescent rolls (the visual is very helpful). I make something similar with spinach in it and I could seriously eat the entire thing myself it is so good! This is definitely something that is very versatile and can be made with various ingredients.

I see your recipes all the time, but this one I am going to try. I think hubby would like it since he loves ham, minus the broccoli he isn’t a fan of veggies, might just make him pick it out. Thanks for all you do =-)
