I noticed on the Publix Coupon policy (printed on the back of last week’s seafood coupon)it said that they would accept one “dollars off” coupon from a competitor and one from Publix in the same transaction. To me, that says I can use one of my $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupons along with this $5/$40 Publix coupon as long as I get my total up to $40.00. It seems like a double dip to me. Has anyone tried it?

    • Michelle says:

Not exactly… you can use both but, you have to get your total up to $70. (The total required for BOTH coupons combined).

    • dyana says:

I do it all the time….

    • angee says:

no u just have to purchase $40 to use both because you are doubling the cps and since the highest amount is $40 thats all u have to spend :) done it several times in the past

      • angee says:

now if you use the same coupon say the publix 5/$40 twice then yes u have to spend $80 same for the winndixie if you use 2 winn dixie 5/$30 you have to spend $60. as long as you are doubling a cp (matching comp/store) u take the highest amount if the are different but add if they are the same alike store/comp. cp

I have used a $5 off a $25 and a $5 off $30 sweetbay I just had to make sure that my total was %55 or higher. So I would think that they would take both as long as your total is $70

  3. Amy says:

$5 off $40 or more? What happened to it being $30 or more? and i hate that they sent that coupon out to only limited counties grrrr

    • Gabby says:

      You get the penny items!
      :)

      • Dana says:

What about Broward??No penny item, no coupons!! For the glass half full perspective, though, true BOGO!!:)

        • Toni says:

Same here in Okaloosa County. No penny items, no publix $5/$40, no produce or seafood coupons, no double coupons, and our prices are generally higher than most everyone else. The only thing we have is that we can use WD $5/$30, true bogos, and no food tax.

These coupons recently always say Lee county, I used to get them all the time in our paper. NOW we get NONE. I am a very loyal publix shopper, I miss those little perks. They do help especially when you have someone in the house with special dietarry needs.

  5. Melissa says:

We rarely ever get these type coupons in Volusia County…super duper bummer :(

  6. Georgia Peach says:

Well I never get them at all in Georgia!

  7. Jenn says:

Yep, really getting tired of the same counties being left out…Orange, Brevard, Volusia, etc. It’s starting to look like Publix doesn’t care much for anything to the east of the “typical” counties Michelle mentioned. I thought they valued ALL their customers.

  8. Wendy says:

Has anyone found this coupon yet? If so what section of the paper was it in? Also which paper? I have a hard time finding it sometimes.

  9. Teri says:

Someone should write corporate and find out why other counties and or states are excluded
from such great publix coupons. For me I’m just happy to get a good discount on my grocery bill. FYI our area never get those nice publix coupons.

  10. wendy says:

we live in Kissimmee which is in Osceola county and we never get these…:( anyone find this in the Orlando Sentinel? anyone has extra that want to swap coupons for?

    • Melissa says:

Deffo not in the Sentinel, I get that and the Daytona News Journal delivered to my house, not in either :(

  11. Emily says:

Ugh, I hate to be a whiner but we live in Jacksonville and never see these coupons either. It’s really disappointing. I’ve used all my Enjoy the City coupons and now my grocery bill is really hurting my wallet.

  12. Danielle says:

It is a separate single sheet.. I found it in the Ft. Myers News Press

  13. Alicia says:

Im in Lake didnt find in sentinel or commercial

  14. Allison says:

Try being in Alachua County: not included in these promotions, no Target coupons, and no penny items. I still really love Publix and I do great there, but I wish there was complete consistency, store to store, county to county, and state to state. It’s only fair to have the same policies and offers for everyone, regardless of geography.

  15. Nory says:

These were both in The Tampa Tribune and The Tampa Bay Times. There was also a $5 off $50 purchase coupon from GFS Marketplace which is a competitor at my Publix. Yipee! :)

  16. angela says:

not in the lakeland ledger or the orlando sentinel

  17. DJ says:

I live in Lake County and i barely ever see them. Def. not one in this go around…gotta love Publix though.
