Weekly Totals 2/8 – Share Your Savings

Unknown1 Weekly Totals 2/8 Share Your SavingsHappy Friday everyone! I hope you all have had a great week.

It’s a birthday week here at my house. My oldest son turned 7 yesterday! It is so hard to believe that Jake is that old. It really does seem like yesterday that he was just a little baby in my arms. Tomorrow is his party and he is beyond excited to have all of his friend join him for some fun and cake. I set up a budget each year for the boys party and since we are not spending too much moolah, I opted to have Publix make his cake again this year. I have cake mix and frosting in my pantry and could have whipped up a cake for less than $5…but – sometimes you have to splurge a bit. We are all big fans of Publix Bakery cakes and they are a great treat for all of us icon wink Weekly Totals 2/8 Share Your Savings

I ran to Publix yesterday since we were out of bread. I was too lazy to pull out the bread maker just for a PB&J today, so I put together a list of things we needed.

It was time to restock my freezer with english muffins so I took advantage of the BOGO sale.

Watermelon – $3.99
Bananas – $1.91
Acorn Squash – $1.74
Grapefruit = $1.49 ($2/1 IP)
Spinach = $2.49
Almond Accents – $1.99 ($0.50/1 insert)
Topicana = $1 ($2 wyb oj & Jimmy Dean)
Diet Coke x 3 = $0 (2 free product coupons + B2G1 sale)
Jimmy Dean = $3.69
Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage = $4.44 ($0.55/1 insert)
Thomas’ English Muffin x 4 = $8.38
Bread = $1.59
Go-gurt – $1.79 ($0.50/1 IP)
Eggs = $0 (kroger free prod mailer)

I spent about $36 of my grocery budget and have breakfasts covered for quite a while!
