Unknown Weekly Totals 1/11 Share Your Savings

Happy Friday everyone.

The boys went back to school this week so I am trying to get back to normal. It was nice to be able to put together a shopping list and hit the store while the kids were in school. I was able to walk the store and even look around a little bit. I am so much more productive while they are in school…plus my house stays SO much cleaner! icon wink Weekly Totals 1/11 Share Your Savings

I had a good trip this week. I hadn’t planned on getting the Laughing Cow, but when I found the coupons – I couldn’t pass up the deal. I eat them several times a week so I stock up while I can. I may actually go back and grab a few more. They have a very long shelf life.

Overall I was pleased with my trip. While I was just a bit higher than I would have liked, I got a ton of groceries. My goal over the next week or so is to clean out my main pantry and my overflow pantry. I want to start the year off with a clean inventory and work on grabbing items that I need. I am in pretty good shape for the most part but there are a few things I know I will need at some point soon. If I can determine my needs, I can be on the lookout for the deals!!

Here’s what I grabbed this week:

Thomas Bagel Thins, $2.50
Bread, $1.69
Fresh Express Spinach x 2 = $4
Hefty Trash Bags = $4.50
Snack Pack Pudding x 3 = $2.50 (B2G1 PQ)
Publix Dressing 1¢ (penny item Q)
Mario Olive = 30¢ ($0.30/ IP)
Hunt’s Pasta Sauce x 4 = $2 (two $1/2 blinkie)
Spaghetti Squash = $2.48
Bananas = $1.80
Bell Pepper x 2 = $2.38
Coffee Mate Creamer x 2 = $3 (two $1/1 IP)
Laughing Cow Wedges x 2 = $4 ($1/2 Tearpad)
Wholly Guacamole = $0 (free product coupon)
Boston Butt = $6.12
Perdue Nuggets x 2 = $3 (two $1/1 IP)
Butterball Sausage x 2 = $2.40 (two $0.55/1 insert)
TransOcean Surimi x 2 = $0 (two $0.50/1 IP)
Whole Fruit Sorbet x 2 = $1 (two $0.50/1 IP)
Weight Watchers Ice Cream = 50¢ ($1/1 IP & $1/1 TQ)
State Fair Corndog x 2 = $3.49
Lean Cuisine Salad Additions = $1 ($1/1 insert)

I spent a touch over $50 after tax. Not a bad haul for my first shopping trip of the year.
