and wouldn’t you know, Palm Beach is excluded! Bummer…
I haven’t seen Palm Beach in stock since the new books came out anyways.
I emailed ETC asking about the Palm Beach County books and they referred me to the local dealer where I would, of course, pay full price. They never answered my direct question…”Can I expect it to be added in the near future?” I don’t think it will, so I may just have to load up on the Florida Ultimate Edition books.
My local Publix has a big clearance on the leftover holiday coffee, creamer, bread mix, and cookie mix. I purchased Pillsbury Bananna, and Cranberry bread mixes clearanced to .99 cents. I had a newspaper coupon for .35 cents off 1 , which makes it .29 cents per mix. (regular price about 3.99) Our co workers love it when I have these coupon finds…because they enjoy the goodies I bake.
Question…..I am seriously contemplating getting these awesome books. Are the books specifically for my area ALONE? I was going to send some to my daughter and she lives in one of the ocunty’s that is sold out. If I buy the books for my area, is my area printed out on the coupons?
Thanks
Pam
Books are for specific areas, each coupon states the areas and locations where its accepted. Hope this helps
thanks Tina. That does help. So I want to make sure that I can get a book for myself. I live in a city that is not listed, but the closest one is about 35 miles north of me. Am I still permitted to use the coupons in my town, or do I have to drive to the listed location? I enlarged the coupon, and could not locate the name of the town listed. This will be my first time getting the coupons, so I want to make sure I can use them. thanks again
Pamela
The best way is to review each book. Sometimes the back page of the coupon lists where it is accepted – sometimes the locations are on the front. If I were you I would preview the book you want to buy and call the places you want to use the coupons at and ask if they will honor them.
You can zoom the pages when you preview so you can read the fine print.
Hi Dee
I did zoom and read the front and did not see any towns listed. I don’t know if I was able to view the back side of the coupon. I went to the next page, and did not find anything listed there either. I think I will see if I can find a Contact Us link and see if the company can tell me.
Or, as I asked Tina above, maybe you know. Are the books only available to the EXACT towns listed? Mine is not listed, but the closest one is 35 miles north. Do you know?
Thanks again
Pamela
Look at the print to the side of the coupons…for example for Burger King, in my area, it says on the front “Valid at participating Treasure Coast locations” (this is printed to the left of the coupons), then on the back, to the right of the coupons it has a list of the “participating locations”
what is winn dixie? is it a store in Georgia or Florida??? If it is, sadly it isn’t in ATL area
further note. why does my publix ONLY take Kroger coupons. why not target? I have yet to see a ‘kroger’ coupon.
Winn-dixie is like a Publix. And they try to be. Go to their website and see if there any near you. In my opinion, i find them to be a bit expensive even compared to publix even with their bogos. Sometimes, they have good bogo coupon match ups and they have fuel perks on certain items or when you meet a total purchase goal. That means if you sign up for their loyalty card and buy a certain item with an advertised fuelperks, it will take certain amount of cents in gas at a participating gas station. We have one down here in SW Fl.
I don’t go there as much, but my Publix takes their coupons because they consider them a competitor, so i can’t wait to get a book! I know how you feel about the kroger thing. i dont have a kroger here but my publix says that they do take target coupons but when you walk inside they have posters plastered every where that they don’t accept target coupons that say — off —-, which is any coupon you can get from target. lol. They also accept other competitors but they don’t have store coupon…ever. so i guess its just a pr thing sometimes.
just ordered the books an are getting 7 for only $17.50,what a deal. i ordered them before an use them all the time for the Winn Dixie coupon at my Publix, thanks fo much for posting them again as I was almost out,Yesss
Hi Cindyjan,
How do you get 7 for $17.5? Does it get doubled to 14 books? Pleasae advice
i paid 24.50 for 7 including tax.the note at the bottom said my order would double.
What is the deal with pbc always being excluded?
Last year Palm Beach was included. I am not sure why its not this year. But, I see alot of books are already sold out. So maybe Palm Beach was almost sold out beore they even began offering them on sale.
Just a thought.
I called about this. I was told there is a very high nonprofit market
in PB County and they would be undermining their own customers. If the
nonprofits are selling the books for 20.00 they dont want us buying them
online for 5.00
Do im wrong or if not for miami dade area?:(
Broward books no longer have Regal Theater or Chik-Fil-A. Makes me sad…
If you have a GFS near you, then you can also use those coupons at Publix too. Last year there were 12- one valid for each month.
Question- it doesn’t look like the ultimate books have specific locations- Does this mean they could be used anywhere in Florida? If so, maybe it’s a good option for the Palm Beach crowd….
Good point. I don’t see why that wouldn’t work.
Only thing is, Ultimate books have an expiration of June 2013.
I have never ordered any of these books. What types of coupons come with it? It does list the businesses that take the coupons, but not what the coupon offers. Can I have some examples before I purchase these? Thanks
You can actually preview the books and see what you are getting….just click on the book and you can flip page by page.
i just wanted to say thanks for making it simple for me .i kept getting e mails about the special pricing, and couldnt figure it out.but as usual you saved my butt,by wording it so even i could understand.i used the link above so i hope you get a ton of bonus books.thanks
I was never able to get the preview to work. Bought enough to last me a year and then found they expire 6/30/13. Still a good deal, but just to make sure everyone’s aware.
I have another question / thought about these books. (Can you tell this is my first time buying them! – yep, a newbie!)
If the books are only good in the designated areas, how is it possible then to buy these same coupons from, say e-Bay? Is not the location listed on those coupons too? I did email the company my questions and concerns and am waiting on their reply.
Most of the coupons are for specific locations, but the Winn Dixie ones do not specify. I only really buy the books for the Winn Dixie coupons so I can use them at Publix
Wow! I just bought 20 books for only $35… that’s $400 in coupons I can use until June!! Best. Deal. EVER.
I ORDERED 7 BOOKS LAST NIGHT. AFTER I PRINTED MY RECEIPT, I NOTICED THAT MY SHIPPING INFORMATION LEFT BLANK OR EMPTY BUT MY BILLING INFO WAS THERE. I WAS WORRIED SO I CALLED THEM LIKE 20 TIMES TODAY. I COULDN’T GET ANYBODY JUST ANSWERING MACHINE. I LEFT MESSAGES BUT NOBODY CALL ME BACK. MY HUSBAND START TO THINK THAT THIS MIGHT BE A CON. I TOLD HIM IT’S NOT. I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS SO THEY CAN SHIP IT TO ME. ANYBODY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE RECEIPT?
Cristina,
I have ordered from Enjoy the City on 3 different occassions with the latest being yesterday. I placed an order yesterday for 7 books & 7 free books for $49. My shiping information was the same as billing. I received an email today with the tracking information on the order. They are usually very fast to ship out. I usually receive my order within 3-4 days. I have called them in the past & had to leave messages and they would call me back but it may take a couple of days. I don’t think there are a lot of people working in the office. Tell your hubby it is not a scam–it’s real. I bet you will have your books by middle of next week:)
Sandy,
Thank you for your response. That makes me feel better. I told my hubby .
I can not see the ultimate book listed on their site. Can someone please tell me where it is located??
