Where is the store coupon…I must have missed that one??!!!

      • Kristin says:

It is in the Nestle “Simply Delicious Savings” booklet – but I can’t tell if it is a Publix coupon or Mfgr coupon. No LU number and does not state it is a Mfgr. coupon.

        • Michelle says:

Hmmmm…I see it on my booklets page but reader listed as MQ. I don’t have the coupon…so you guys might need to double check your coupon. If someone can confirm for sure it is a PQ, I will add it.

The last booklet like this one was filled with MQ’s…so I am going to assume that until I know for sure.

          Thanks guys!

It’s not very clear on the coupon, so I was unsure as well, but the manager at my store checked it close and said it was a pulix coupon. It had no problems ringing up. When I’m in doubt, and the manager says it’s a Publix coupon, then I go with that. I wonder if that will be the consensus though. Like I said, I could only go off what she said, because the coupon is not clear at all.

          Those coupons are MAN coups.

Where is the Di Giorno Publix coupon, I have only the Simple Delicious book but it is mfr coupon.

  3. Tina G. says:

Okay, I did the DiGiorno trip last night and this is how it played out for me (northwest florida). I bought 6 pizzas, used 2 B2G1 coupons, along with 3 $1/2 coupons (which I had assumed were Publix coupons, since they didn’t say Mfr). The cashier was not sure about them, so she called the manager over who went through all of my coupons and said they were all good, because the Simply Delicious ones were Publix coupons. They rang up fine, but the weird thing is they showed on the screen as “vendor coupon”. But it was cleared by the manager who said that they are in fact, store coupons. Oh, and I threw in a $5/25 Save-a-Lot coupon too. Total out of pocket for 6 pizzas was $11.96!!!

  4. Linda says:

It is a manufacturer’s coupon. Nestle USA is listed as the company that redeems the coupon on the back even though it looks like a store coupon from the front.

  5. Angela says:

If they have a barcode and scan, they are manufacturer’s coupons. Publix always have an LU#. Plus, if it states where to send the coupon in for reimbursement, it would definitely be a manufacturer’s coupon. Maybe the manager doesn’t know about how coupons work, or maybe he is fairly new?

Good to know for future. Well, although this apparently went through when it shouldn’t have, it wasn’t from me trying to pull something off that wasn’t right. Me (and the cashier) went over it with manager, so it wasn’t my fault. However, I will know for the future, so I won’t try using those. Thanks. And btw, she is not a new manager. She’s at least been there for the last 2 years that I’ve been couponing there. Well, it was a learning experience, I guess.

I’ve used the coupons in this particular booklet in the past. You are right about the front of the coupon being confusing, but when you read the back it is more clear. Please don’t think I’m accusing you of being dishonest, I’m not in the least bit. I think you did the absolute right thing by asking the manager. If she allowed you to use them, which was totally her decision and right, then you could. I’m glad that you were able to get the extra discount! Plus, in my opinion you acted very responsibly by asking the cashier and manager for clarification. I only wrote what I did above for future reference. Happy shopping and happy coupon clipping! I wish you many savings throughout 2013!!

    They are Manu. Qs

  7. Laura says:

Who would’ve thunk it?! I thought for sure these were all publix coupons too! As most of the booklets are. Thanks for the heads up! That’s why this site is great:)

  8. charles lile says:

can someone please send me a copy of the target coupon for the weight watchers fronen novovelty thanks

  9. yvette says:

I wasablebtouse both coupons yesterday. The b1g1 coupon as man. and the $1/2 was a store coupon.

  10. Laura S. says:

Being somewhat out of touch with all the stacking and such…why would it matter if it’s a mfg coupon or a publix coupon… wouldn’t they take either anyway?

    • Kristin says:

Laura S – Publix will no longer allow you to use a $1/2 Mfgr coupon with a B2G1 Mfgr coupon. BUT they will allow you to use a $1/2 PUBLIX coupon with a B2G1 Mfgr coupon. Hope that explains why everyone wants to know if you can use the $1/2 with the B2G1.

  11. Danielle says:

I thought the booklet coupon was a publix coupon too. The cashier rang up both coupons without any problem. I didn’t even realize the booklet Q was a MF. They looked like all the other publix coupons.

  12. Laura S. says:

Thanks Kristin. I did not realize that they had changed their policy. Obviously it’s been some time since I’ve done any BIG coupon shopping. There are only 2 of us.. I only eat low carb and hubby only eats certain things/brands that rarely come up for great savings. But I do what I can.
    Thanks for the reply!
