I see these, I’ve never done one before- I have a question-
I’m assuming we can use coupons on the Manufacturer’s items…
But- Can we use Competitor Brand name q’s on the free Publix items?
For example- Let’s say my Publix allows me to purchase 2 Ragu’s, and get 2 Publix brand sauces free.
Can I use:
$1/2 Ragu sauce MQ
.60/2 Ragu TQ
$1/2 Market Pantry Pasta sauces
Yes! Publix will accept the target coupons, cause they are “like” items. However, you should use 2 $1/2 MQ, and 2 $1/2 competitor coupon and you would pay 38 cents!
But I would only be buying 2 Ragu sauces, so I think I can only use one $1/2 Ragu’s. And I’d get 2 Free Publix sauces, so I could only use one $1/2 TQ.
There is also a Target coupon for $1/2 any Market Pantry cheeses. There used to be a size restriction on them, but there isn’t now. Just says “excludes single serve”.
Cashier responses run the gamut. I have had cashiers insist I can only use one coupon per item as well as those who say if it scans it works, as well as those who pay no attention to what competitor coupons they are ringing up. I have had them agree that Archer Farms is a Target house brand while others insist only Market Pantry is and still others who indicate it would need to be ‘Target’ brand to be a competitor. Look at the signage and if it does not limit you to one deal on the Buy Theirs Get Ours Free, ask them to show you where it states quantity limits. By the way, when I bought 4 Haagen Daz yesterday on BOGO and presented 2 manufacturer BOGO coupons the cashier stated it was ‘unfair’ that I was getting the ice cream free. So don’t be intimidated. If you are working within their coupon policy and signage, “The customer is always right.”

And $1/3 Market pantry dry pasta.
Lol- we were responding at the same I guess.
Thanks for letting me know though! I know sometimes stores alter their coupon policy with special deals like this- I LOVE Publix!!
Where is the $1/2 MQ for Ragu?
i was under the assumption that only one deal rang up per transaction
I’ve been told the same: only one deal
