We love this milk and have been going through several of them a week lately! Need to order some coupons for this one! Thanks for the heads up
I bought some of this last weekend. It had an expiration date of January 11th. When I opened it up… it kind of smelled sour. It was the 1% milk. I don’t know if I should try to buy another carton or if maybe we as a family don’t like this. Anyone else out there try it? Thanks
It doesn’t usually smell sour. Try it again. It is really good milk.
Using coupons, my wife and I have been acquiring Smart Balance milk from Publix continuously for the past 3 years, and have never had it go bad prior to the expiration date.
I suspect that the milk that you purchased may have been part of a batch that was stored improperly somewhere along the line prior to your acquiring it.
If you still have the milk, or the milk carton, or even the receipt, you might consider bringing the milk, or the milk carton, or the receipt back to the store for a replacement so that you can try it again.
