With careful planning and multiple trips (I literally live next door to a Publix), I got 6 gas cards last time. My freezer and cupboards are full so I will take a pass on the gas card deal. However, I’m glad that it will be back for those that missed it last time.

I received a free Nathans coupon up to $5.99 that expires 12/31/12 – can’t remember how I got it – probably a Facebook game. This will be a great time to use it and get two free packs.
Can you spend $50 and get $10 off a gas card, plus use a $5 winn dixie coupon? I had problems with that last week. They said you had to spend $80 to use both.
My store has always taken both on just a $50 purchase because the $10 off is on the gas card, not the groceries where the Winn Dixie coupon is for $5 off the groceries.
I spent $60 on groceries and got a gas card. Used the $10 off gas card and 2 winn dixie $5 off $30. I did all this before I handed over the rest of my coupons. I have a cashier who never gives me a problem.

I’ve been using WD coupons and the gas card deal for a year and have never been told this. The WD coupon doesn’t attach to specific items, the gas card coupon is off the gas card. I can see an argument for it, but it would be a new policy at my store. The manager himself has rung me up countless times and put both through without any comment.

This past gas card deal, at certain stores, we had the same problem. We argued the same point, that the $10/50 gas card coupon is off of your gas card. You don’t have to purchase an additional $30 in order to use both coupons. However, these certain stores, were not going to budge. I would check out some other locations in your area for this deal, and see if they will accept both coupons on only $50 of groceries before coupons. I know it’s frustrating!!
I have had both situation happen to me. One cashier didn’t let me use the $5/$25 with gas card. But, a customer service manager rung me up and let me use it. Guess it all depends…
I spent $80 on the transactions with the gas card deal to use the WD coupon. I don’t think you can use the $5/$30 on gift cards, postage stamps, etc.

I’ve never had a problem at my store. I’d try a different cashier, ask customer service, or go to a different store. At my store, I’ve always bought $50 worth of groceries, gotten the $10 off the gas card, and been able to use the $5 Winn Dixie coupon on the grocery purchase. The gas card coupon is for $10 off the gas card, not the grocery total, so they should stack just fine.
Ditto! In Panama City Beach. My stores are not as laid back as some of these, and I did it three times at two different stores, last time. No problems on the gas card. Only the regular problems with ‘new’ clueless checkers that don’t know their own coupon policy, that are difficult and shortchange me on other coupons

I’ve never tried to use two (2) Winn Dixie $5/$30 coupons, how many of you have? Any problems? Of course you would buy $60 or more.

My publix will allow as many Winn Dixie coupons as you have groceries that total 30.00. So if I have 90.00 in groceries, they will take 3 5 off of 30 coupons. Most Publix’s I have shopped at will take it that way. I hope this helps.
This goes against Publix’s coupon policy.
The coupon policy says: “Dollars-off-total-order coupons will be limited to one Publix and one competitor coupon per order.”
I just do separate transactions back-to-back. Other than having to separate out the groceries and pay multiple times, it’s not really more of a hassle.
I guess it depends on your Publix. Mine does not make you do separate transactions anymore. They say if you have the coupons they will take them. As well as multiple Target coupons in the same transaction.
You have to do 2 transactions to use 2 competitor coupons. Their coupon policy states you can only use one dollar off total purchase competitor coupon per order.
Last Tuesday, I had $130 worth of groceries and was told that I could use 4 of the $5/$30 coups. So I did. That’s $20 savings off the top! This was at the Fairhope, AL store!

Just FYI – the $2/2 PQ is not a match for the 10/$10 soups in the ad. Go Soups and On the Go Soups are different product lines.

There was a $1 off 2 Pepsi Next 2 liters coupon in the booklet attached to the Dasani water case awhile ago. These expire 10/31/12.
This ad is terrible. Hardly any check marks. Seems like that always happens with the gas gift card deal week.
The last gas card week was awesome for me, but there’s very little on my list this week. That’s just as well since my fridge, freezer and pantry are pretty full.
Gas card weeks are great weeks to use up all your rainchecks, though.

Let me know if it is a MQ–if it is the one I am thinking -it is actually a Walgreens coupon. I think I found that out the hard way when I posted it when it first came out

Just to let everyone know, if your Publix takes Target coupons, for all the ladies out there, they have a $1.00 off coupon for Playtex as well, so it makes them $.59 for 2.

On some of the GE Reveal lightbulbs I picked up at Target last night, had a $2/1 manufacturer peelie coupon attached to them; maybe publix may have some as well. (If anyone was interested, they were on sale at Target for $4.74; so we ended up paying $.74 ea with the target printables and peelie)

I did the Advil deal yesterday. The sale price is $4.99 (Tampa Bay area) making it .49 per box. Not free or MM, but still a good deal.

Hey Michelle, I just printed out the Quaker IP you link to in the list. The wording on the Q is “SAVE $1.00 off any 2 different Quaker(R) items”.
Do you think that is just another way of saying “$1/2″? Or possibly “you can buy 1 quick oats and 1 old fashioned oats and use the Q, but you can’t buy 2 old fashioned oats and use the Q”? Or even still possibly, “You can’t buy one multipack of single servings and have that count”?

I think you could buy an old fashioned oats and a quick oats since they are different products. That is my plan.

FYI, the regular price at Aldi ($2.19 for 42 ounces) is basically the same as the Quaker with a BOGO and a $1/2. You save 7/100 of a cent per ounce on the Quaker. Hardly seems worth the trouble. Has anybody else noticed that even with a BOGO and a great coupon, Aldi still wins most of the time?
Wow, I haven’t seen an Aldi’s since Kansas. I thought they all turned into Save-A-Lots ? In our town, we only have a Publix, a Winn Dixie, and a Pic N Sav. I save so much more at Publix than I do the others. Usually when I use the $5/30, I keep my family of 5′s grocery bill down to $30 or less there a week (including meat, when I get products with overage).
I shop at Aldi for all our fruit, veggies and eggs unless I have overage at Publix to get these items. Other that that I save a lot at Publix with the BOGO, coupons, and in-store savings.
even still if you are paying about the same with the bogos and the q’s and then can use a discount on the gas card, it’s worth it to me.

I’m so happy about the gas card deal again!!!! Last time, we were able to get 4 of them plus some groceries and Glade products all for $17.xx. I don’t think I could pull the $17 deals off again, but hoping to get another $200-$400 in gas cards for the everyday use and upcoming holiday.

Are you sure that swiffer is included in the P&G cookware rebate. I dont see it pictured and I bought my 30 worth on the 1st days but didnt see that swiffer wasnt pictured until after so I have not sent it in. Is there a list somewhere? I would love to be able to send this in!

For the $?/$? coupons its the total before all sale prices, bogos, and coupons. Just had this situation last week where the cashier & mgr wouldn’t let me get the gas card deal or use my winn dixie Q. I called corporate & they confirmed its total before all sale prices, bogos, and coupons. After corporate emailed the store & mgr called me to come back I did.I went back so they could honor my Qs. The asst mgr told me I was wrong even after letting me have the gas card for $40 but wouldn’t let me use my winn dixie $5/$50 Q because, like the mgr & cashier had said before, I had $40 in items before Qs. I had $62 before Qs, sale items & bogos. Asst mgr & cashier next to her at service desk said to each other that if I called corporate then nothing they say makes a difference but still wouldn’t let me use the winn dixie Q.
I called corporate again because of that but won’t go back to that store again.

It makes your comments incredibly hard to read. It’s also considered to be “yelling” in terms of internet etiquette. Just FYI.
The total is what it says before you hand over any coupons. So it is before coupons but after sales and bogo. If you just had $40 before Q’s, then the store was right since the winn dixie was for $5 off $50 and they were also right about the gas card because you need to spend at least $50 for that too.
Correct. And it is not the total before BOGOs if the BOGOs automatically come off when things are being run up. It needs to be $50 in groceries before *coupons.* And the gas card total cannot apply toward the $50 needed for the WD coupon since it will say not good on gift cards.
The $50 is BEFORE coupons (sale prices and bogos are automatic). When your cashier is done scanning all your products & looks at you for your coupons, that’s your total (which needs to be $50+) in order to use the gas card coupon and your WD coupon.

I have an additional coupon to use on this week’s Ragu Sauce deal. Just a few days ago I printed out a Walgreen’s coupon (Coupons.com) for $1/2, which Publix will accept. That beats your Target coupon for those, like me, who didn’t get the email coupon you mentioned.

Are you sure Publix will accept a Walgreens coupon? They stopped taking drug store coupons a long time ago, at least in Georgia
My Publix will also take a Walgreens register reward because it is a manufacture coupon
My Publix won’t accept any of the $5/30 or 50 from Winn Dixie, but they will accept the Target and Winn Dixie $1 off or whatever those ones are.
Why won’t they accept the $5/$30? If they accept Winn Dixie as a competitor, they should accept that coupon.

There was a tearpad coupon on A1 sauce or marinade that would save you a dollar on beef. Last time I used two with the bogos and got $2 off beef. Tearpad expires 5/31/2013!

Publix Policy states 1 MQ PER ITEM. You would need to buy 4 packages to use 4 of those coupons – or have the butcher split your 1 package into 4.

Yeah !!!they had them at my store too but somebody took all the peelies from the boxes leaving huge holes on them and no peelies for people that are buying them!!!

Do we know yet if SIERRA MIST is included in the Pepsi, B2Gi? There are $1/3 from the last Pepsico. I have peelies that are get a free SMist Splash 2 ltr when you buy any Sierra Mist but they say max value $1. I’m not sure how this is going to work out but I hope to buy 6 @ 1.89 ea and after coupons 6 @ .69 ea. this is assuming they are 1.89! It’s a confusing coupon because I don’t know anywhere that carrys them for $1.
I don’t know if Sierra is included in the Publix sale… did check, but I know that Sierra Mist is price at $1 at Walmart. At least they were a couple weeks ago.

wasn’t sure where to ask-I usally shop in Ala, store where we have 1/2 price BOGO,Target coupons and Winn Dixie but tax on groceries and tax per coupon sale, I live in Fl (but no Publix for 40 miles) I could shop at a fl store where true BOGO and no tax on food, does anyone know if any Panama City stores take Target coupons? Winn Dixie Q’s not a biggie cause I don’t usually do those

The customer service desk at the store will usually have a flyer as to what competitor coupons they take. It will often also be posted near the door. If all else fails, I’d just ask — you could even call the stores and inquire. It really depends on the store. The Tallahassee Publix stores take Winn Dixie, but not Target, and some of the Tallahassee stores vary as to what other competitors they accept.
I know you can check the window and it has a lsit of competitors in the window. If a target is close by they usually do. Maybe google the publix and target.
I meant tax before the coupons. not a real biggie but I usally have $50 in coupons so that adds on $4.25
In Florida, the tax should apply to pre-MQ but post PC (logic is that if it is a store coupon, then it is as if the store is giving you a sale price, so the tax applies to the sale price.) Hth.

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned or not in the comments, but on select Homestyle Bakes Meal in a Box, there are coupons in the inside. One of the coupons is 50 cents off 1 jar of Peter Pan peanut butter which if used in this sale, you can get 2 jars of peanut butter for $1.29 or 65 cents a jar. Which imo is a FANTASTIC deal! Just wanted y’all to know.

Can anyone explain to me how the GE lightbulbs are made free with the manf coupon and the target coupon???
They are BOGO, so 2 for $5.49. If you use 2 $2/1 Target coupons along with 2 $1/1 mf coupons that’s a total savings of $6. So the coupons will make the items free by covering the price plus tax.
Just be sure to check with your customer service if they’ll let you use 2 identical target coupons. None of my stores in central florida allow it because the target coupon specifies that only one can be used per customer.
Just found out my publix is accepting Walgreens coupons!!! I think someone mentioned that their publix took register rewards has anyone used any Walgreens coupons at their publix? Also if I had a bunch of register rewards could I use it on anything in publix?
Have not used a Walgreens coupon at any Publix. However, it seems that managers have some leeway on what stores they will consider compeditors. There is one store in my area that will accept Dollar General coupons. Some accept Save-A-Lot coupons too. I have not idea about the rewards coupons. I suppose it would be best to stop by customer service and ask them about each coupon.

Anyone else noticing that their stores are not stocking that much halloween candy. I could not get in on any of the bogo candy last week ans so I went today to get what was offered in the new ad and they probably only had about 20 bags of each.
The store I shop at had a big section in the front with halloween candy.
