I have made so many delicious recipes over the past couple of weeks and I am just getting started. The temperature is just stating to fall a bit here in Atlanta. For the next 3 or 4 months I will have my crockpot going several times per week. I typically cook up at least one batch of dry beans every week in the fall and winter.
Not only is this incredibly economical but it allows you so many options with very little effort. With a little planning you can easily get 2 – 3 meals with one batch of cooked beans. That is a whole lot of food for just $2.99! I usually serve them as a side dish, then they go in a soup/stew/chili and finally the rest are used in a cold salad or casserole. This is one of my favorite ways to stretch my budget and also keep my time in the kitchen to a minimum.

I LOVE that they are easy to prep and I can make a larger quantity in one setting. I also love that I can serve them to my kids. It can be so hard to find quality beans for such a good price. My kids have food sensitivities but they do great with Hurst Family Harvest beans!

wtI just love about the Hurst Family Beans is how easy they are to prepare. They come out of the bag so clean with no debri or grit of any kind you really don’t have to even rinse them. But after they are cooked OH, MY, the flavor is just to die for. Each bean is so full of flavor they just pop wth it ad melt in your mouth.

I love how easy it is to put together a healthy, delicious meal with Hurst Family Harvest bean soup kits! We have a very high protein/veggie diet and it is nice to have such an easy meal without the hassle and expense of fresh meats! We may add a small amount of ground chicken or turkey to the White Bean Chili (for example), but, with the majority of the protein coming from the beans, it doesn’t blow my budget. It can be really hard to stretch a budget when you do not eat really any starches… thanks Hurst Family Beans for making it easier and more affordable!

I love they arent soaked in tons of sodium and juice that arent healthy for you so the nutritional value of Hurst Beans is alot better. Therefore my family eats for less and I get teh kids eating things they might not because of all the salt

I never used dry beans before trying Hurst- always canned. I couldn’t believe the difference. The flavor and texture is way better than canned, not to mention the great spice packs!

I made the Southwestern White Bean Chili a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious. It was a hit with my husband, which is always a plus. I will definitely be buying it more this fall/winter. I can’t wait to try the others!

I loved just about everything about this product. I tried your chicken sausage and lentil recipe you had posted and fell in love with this product. I cooked this on the stove (no crockpot at the moment) and it was so easy…..and tasty! The fact that I paid 3 bucks to feed two people for dinner and two more meals of leftovers, made it even better.
I love using the lentils to make a wholesome tasty bean and vegetable stew for my family. Every time I make it it lasts 3 days and I lose weight. It is so filling but low in calories. Very nutrient dense.

Easy to freeze
For our family table, beans have always been a staple on our table as kids…mostly because it was econimical…but, great taste too.
Now, as an adult I still put a big pot of beans on my family table for the same reasons..and, the health benifit that is added is a win win. So, for me ONE reason is the nostalga a meal of beans and old fam memories of sitting around the table with my folks who are now gone.

I Love the versatility of the beans. With a large family, we have to keep our food budget in check so I use the beans to supplement. My Hubby grew up eating beans with cornbread, so as soon as it cools off I make that then throw them into some chili. One pot of beans making a couple of meals in our house is unheard of! I recently discovered cooking beans overnight in the crockpot!! I’m still tweaking it, but I love being able to walk away and not have to stick around the kitchen for 90 minutes or so while they cook on the stove. And, of course, there is also the savings perk!

The Hurst Family Harvest beans are on the top shelf at my local Publix in the dried bean section. We love Split Pea, but we’ll have to try out the White Chili soon. For under $5, this is an easy, nutritious, protein-filled meal for the family.

What I like best is the beautiful color of the beans. It made the meal taste that much better. I have always heard you want to feed people with their eyes first, then taste. These beans accomplished this.

I’m looking forward to trying these beans. With variety, ease of preparation and a great value I don’t think I could miss with these beans.
I love beans and so do my whole family!! They are proof of a wise and loving creator. Easy to grow,store,cook with fiber,healthy carbs, nutrients and makes a complete protein with rice. I can go on and on! The only way to get good, tasty, high quality beans without doing it yourself- Hurst!

The easy prep time is #1 in my eyes, I am a stay at home mom and am always busy so anything that has a short prep time is big to me.

i like that i dont have to wash hurst beans and i can put them in pressure cooker and pop in pot roast along in with hurst bean, excpecially lenlil beans. it was just simply dinner, with hot rolls. and also is inexpensive. that is plus.
I like the variety because even though I am a “black bean” type of girl even I can have an adventure in the kitchen with other types of beans with the ease of using the Hurst beans.

I love the HamBeens soup mix. I am also fond of the black bean variety. nothing says Fall better than Bean Soup simmering in my kitchen all day in my crock pot!

I LOVE THESE BEANS! They are easy to use and my hubby loves em and he is not a big fan of beans unless it’s chili. The price is great also. Lately I have been trying to go more organic with our food and being able to control the spices that go into the meal. Love it! I also liked them on FB, maybe one day they’ll drop some coupons my way

I have never tried these but look forward to it. They seem easy to fix at a good price. I will be using my crock pot more since it is cooling off and can’t wait to make some chili with Hurst beans. I also use ALOT of black beans because I love mexican food and put them in everything from soup to casseroles to burritos. Thanks so much for the contest

I love the Hurst Beans…I have tried several of them! They are so easy and they are delicious.
I actually have not seen these in my Publix, but have not bought alot of beans lately. I am shopping this weekend so will look for them and try them out for Halloween night
The taste and versatility! We made one large pot of white chicken chili (healthy healthy) and ate it over 5 days about 3 different ways! It was fantastic!
I truly love how easy they are to prepare and how flavorful they are! We can’t say enough good things about them at our house.

The seasoning packet makes for a no fuss no muss cook night. Plus they are delicious and reasonably priced. I would love to see them BOGO!
I put some Lentil soup in the crockpot for an easy dinner then got some calls for showings for my house… all I can say is everyone should make some Hurt Beans when your house is for sale…. warm yummie homey aroma filled the air… we’re countering offers right now!!
