This is the Labor Day ad and there are lots of nice deals to grab this week!

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • If you find any additional coupons feel free to email me or leave a comment and it will be added.
  • If you find coupons that are dead or not a match – email me or leave a comment and it will be removed as soon as possible. (While I try my best, please be aware errors may occur icon smile Publix Ad and Coupons Week of 8/30 to 9/5 (8/29 to 9/4 for some) )
  • This is the metro Atlanta version of the ad. Note that prices will vary – check your ad before you shop.
  • Keep in mind, coupon inserts vary dramatically. You may not have all coupons listed. As many matchups as possible are added so you can get the best deal. If you don’t have the coupon listed, consider trading or check the coupon clipping sites.

When you see the checkmark stockpile button13 Publix Ad and Coupons Week of 8/30 to 9/5 (8/29 to 9/4 for some) – those items are either a great price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling, so if your store doesn’t double it may not be a stock up price for you.

Finally, make sure you click “Read More” to see the whole ad!

  1. Alycia E says:

    i THINK IM FIRST YEAH!

  2. nikki f says:

I was hoping for lots of great deals in the Labor Day ad! Yay!

    • nikki f says:

Miracle Whip, Heinz Ketchup, Hershey Bars BOGO! TGIFridays snacks! It is going to be a great week to use the 5/50 coupon!

      • Cathy Stewart says:

Which 5/50 coupon are you referring to and where do I get it from? Thanks.

      • Carolyn Cusack says:

$5/30 Publix Coupon on page 15 of the Military Moneysaver Jacksonville

Michelle here- I pulled the link…it is a mag coupon and I am pretty sure not supposed to be duplicated :-)

        • Deborah says:

This is a great coupon but I cant print it! Is anybody else having trouble?? When I print it doesnt actually print the picture or the coupon, it prints the fine print from the coupon at the end of the page and the LU# but it does not say anything about what is it for so I dont think my Publix would accept it.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

        • CouponCrazy says:

FYI, I printed this $5/30 coupon and the register didn’t recognize the LU#; however, the manager asked where I got it and he manually entered it in.

        • Sherry says:

I printed this coupon using google chrome. The lu# wasn’t recognized but the entered it manually with no problem.

        • Oldtimer says:

          Michelle,

First, thank you for all of your efforts with the iheartpublix site. The thousands of dollars I’ve saved using it wouldn’t have been even remotely possible without it.

Second, regarding the Publix coupon in the Military Moneysaver Jacksonville magazine and your pulling the link, I went to their website, and clicked on the “Subscribe” hotspot. It reads:

“Start Receiving Military Money Saver Magazine -

Simply complete the form below and click “Subscribe”. We will add you to our mailing list and you should begin receiving Military Money Saver Magazine when the next edition is released. In the mean time, feel free to view, print and use the online version of our current edition.”

In my opinion, the key words are “In the mean time, feel free to view, print and use the online version of our current edition.”

Consequently, I agree with the logic of Sam’s comment in this thread:

“I don’t know why the computer doesn’t recognize the LU number though, because even if we had the physical magazine, the number is the same.

My Publix is backing out of honoring it because they’re calling it a “reproduction.””

First, the fact that the Publix POS system does not recognize the LU number is a Publix system issue and not an issue related to where and how the coupon was obtained, or the form of the coupon.

Second, given that the coupon can be obtained directly from the online version of the magazine, then by definition it is not a reproduction.

Third, the first sentence of the fine print of the coupon reads:

“Limit one coupon per customer per day.”

Thus, Publix is allowing a given customer to use more than one instance of the coupon through October 31, 2012 (the coupon’s expiration date). To do so, that given customer would have to either: (a) obtain multiple copies of the physical magazine (highly inefficient, a tremendous waste of paper, and encourages people to “grab” as many copies of the magazine as can be found [similar to how people 'grab" Publix coupon booklets]); or (b) print multiple copies of the coupon from the online version of the magazine (much more efficient than the first option).

To summarize then: (a) the magazine is encouraging the reader to “to view, print and use the online version” of the magazine; and (b) Publix is allowing a customer to use one instance of the coupon each day through October 31, 2012.

Sounds like a winner to me.

          • Lilly says:

Your thoroughness is appreciated sir, but I belive Michelle was right about pulling the link.

From the Military Money Saver website:

“Our Mission is to publish and deliver a high quality magazine that contains valuable discounts exclusive to the military members and their families who reside in both markets [Hamptons Road and Jacksonville].”

It sounds to me like the coupon is meant exclusively for use by military members and their families.

          • Melissa says:

The coupon states “no copies or printed online coupons will be accepted”.

        • chantel says:

thank you michelle because i saw it said not to be duplicated!

  3. Gina says:

    Thanks michelle

  4. Gina says:

    Thanks Michelle!

  5. Carly says:

    Yay I love Mondays!

  6. justin says:

Still waiting on welchs juice bogo :(

    • Tonya says:

If you are near a Kroger Welches juice is 50% off this week! I had been waiting for a Publix BOGO too, but now I’m going to Kroger

  7. patricia says:

Thanks Michelle looks like a great ad for me!!

  8. robin says:

When does the YAV Flyer expire. Isn’t there a B2G1 Dr Pepper coupon in there. Pepsi bottles Dr Pepper in my area so that would be awesome.

    • Michelle says:

Yes! Doesn’t expire until the 31st, so we will have a couple days to do this deal. The coupon is for Buy Any 2 Dr Pepper or Mountain Dew 12 packs and Get 1 Free.

      • Dacia says:

so I am curious how this would work with the buy 2 get 2 sale going on. Could you use 2 coupons and then get a total of 8 for the price of 2?

        • Sarah says:

The best deal is to buy 12. 6 are free from the sale and then 4 more are free from the coupon. So, you pay for 2 and get 10 free!

          • Nicole says:

How many coupons will I need??

          • Stephanie says:

With the coupon, you buy 2 and get 1 free, so you could only get 2 more free. So you pay for 4 and get 8 for free. Don’t forget about the Target coupons for Dr. Pepper 12-packs. (if your store accepts them)

          • anna says:

Stephanie if you use the publix q you are not allowed to use the target q.you can only use target q’s if you are not using publix q’s.

          • Dave says:

don’t forget that buying 12 gets you to $30, so you can use your $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupon.
Buy 12 for $30, take off $5 for WD, use four of the B2G1 coupons to take off another $20 to score 12 12-packs for $5!!!

    • Teresa says:

Could you explain your math/coupons for the 12? I see how you would pay for 3 and get 9 free but even with a $5 off coupon, that still makes it around $10. I am going to try to go do this tonight or tomorrow so I just wanted to make sure I do it right. Thanks :)

      • Rebekah says:

        Buy (12) 12-packs @$5 each = $60 for all (12)

        The sale gives (6) of those free = $60 – $30 = $30 for all (12)

        Using four B2G1 coupons gives you (4) more for free = $30 – $20 = $10

You pay for (2) 12-packs, get (10) free.

        Use the $5/$30 coupon = $10 – $5 = $5

If you have manufacturer’s coupons to pair with them, you could potentially get them all for free or overage!

        • Rebekah says:

My ideal transaction would be as follows:

Buy (12) Pepsi 12-pack, Mountain Dew or Dr Pepper = $30
          Buy (6) corn = $2
          Buy (1) gift card = $5
          Subtotal = $42

          Use (4)B2G1 Publix coupons = – $20
Use (12)$1/1 Pepsi, any or Dr Pepper man. coupons = – $12
          Use (1)$5/$30 Winn Dixie coupon = – $5
          Coupon total = $42

          Total = $0 + tax
Number of coupons is the same as number of items, total value of coupons does not exceed $50, so no need for a manager’s override. A nice, quick transaction; exactly how I like it.

If my Publix would not allow me to get all (12) packs in one transaction, I’d buy (8) 12-packs, (4) Smart Balance, and (1) $5 gift card.
          I’d use (2)B2G1 Publix coupons, (8)$1/1 Pepsi coupons, (2)BOGO Smart Balance coupons, and (1)$5/$30 coupon. Subtotal = $30 Total = $2
          Again, no override required.

Unfortunately for me, I don’t have ANY of the Pepsi manufacturer’s coupons, so I’m limited to how great my transaction will be in reality. Ah, well…it’s still wonderfully cheap Mountain Dew!

  9. Lynn D says:

    Great ad, but NEED….GAS…..CARDS….
Using our last 3 this week. YIKES! I don’t remember how long it has been since we haven’t been blessed enough to have them.

  10. Julie H says:

Thanks for all your hard work! Pretty good week for me…love the Ritz deal, VA ham, Chobani, and Domino sugar! I had sugar on my Sam’s list but this is a better deal!

  11. Meredyth says:

Also, for the unstoppables my 8-26 P&G had $2/1 and my 8-26 RP had the Target .50/1.

  12. jacci says:

thanks for having this done so early

  13. Sam says:

Anybody find the target q for ball park hot dogs?

  14. Jennifer says:

Many, many thanks for the early preview :) When I clicked on the coupon for the Kerns juice I could not seem to locate it…any suggestions? (My kids adore these little juices :) Happy day and thanks for the response!

  15. KS says:

To Justin– not sure if you have a Kroger in your area but I noticed they have Welch’s juice 50% off.

  16. kristin says:

Thanks for all your hard work! There was a Honest Tea tearpad in the last week or 2 for $.50/1 at Publix and Kroger . . . . This will make for a SWEET deal!

  17. samantha says:

4 diet mountain dew 12-packs for the price of 1…that’s a good week for me!! :)

    • Dave says:

How does 12 for the price of 1 sound?
Don’t forget that buying 12 gets you to $30, so you can use your $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupon.
Buy 12 for $30, take off $5 for WD, use four of the B2G1 coupons to take off another $20 to score 12 12-packs for $5!!!

  18. Heather says:

So excited perfect items for our camping trip!

  19. Carly says:

Is the Planters coupon in the stocking spree book not a match this week? I’d love to stack coupons on that deal!

    • irene says:

Oh what a bummer! Just checked the Q… it’s for 12 oz. only. :(

      • Oldtimer says:

The picture is that of a plastic container.

        The text reads “12 oz.”

To the best of my knowledge:

        (1) Planters does not manufacture 12 oz. plastic containers.

        (2) Publix does not sell 12 oz. plastic containers.

Consequently, it appears that there is an inherent contradiction between the picture and the text … i.e., they can’t have it both ways.

  20. Renee says:

Can someone help me with pricing for the Gerber yogurt melts? It’s been a while and not sure what a good deal on these are…any help? I have a target Q and $1/1 Man Q that should make them $1 each if I buy 4 but I won’t be using them for another month probably, should I buy now or wait? Thanks for any help and thank you so much for posting these ads!!! Love Monday mornings!

    • Sam says:

Im sure they would last as long as theyre put up in a cool dry area. im buyin them also and my 4 month old wont use them for a couple more months, if anything u see theyre nearing the exp. date, donate them to a daycare center?!

    • Lindsey says:

These don’t go on sale that often (with coupons) – so if you can get them for 1.00 – I would probably go ahead and do it. They will last.

    • Renee says:

      Thank you both!

      • Jennifer M says:

Yes, get them while you can. $1 a bag is a good price on these. They are normally 2.99 if I remember right. maybe a little more depending on what store you go to. Oh, and and if you’re little one tries one and won’t eat it, give em about 2-3 weeks and try again. They are kinda freeze dried, so they won’t go bad. They are in a resealable bag too.

  21. Sarah says:

The Target Pampers coupon you have listed for both diapers and wipes are not a match for the sizes. Also, I think the Charmin Stocking Spree coupon for the Free Freshmates would work.

  22. What a great ad! Thanks for putting it up so early, Michelle. You rock!

  23. irene says:

Wow, what an amazing list! Thanks, Michelle! Did you get tired of marking with check marks after a while? The Birdseye 50% is a pretty good deal with the $.50/1 IP! ;)

  24. Maggie M says:

    Thank you!

  25. Sarah says:

I could find the BOGO Snausages coupon, but not the $1.50 one. Also, I can usually print 2 per computer even from the Savings Club, but I couldn’t find the BOGO one after printing it once. I dislike the new format.

  26. Laura says:

Great ad! On my last of Reynolds wrap and kerns nectar. Woohoo! Thanks Michelle!:)

  27. Patty D says:

Thanks Michelle! I wasn’t able to locate the Kern’s q or the $1.50/1 Snausages is there a specific zip code I should put in?

  28. Deborah says:

  36. Amy G says:

Anyone have any luck with the Target q for Ballpark franks or the coupons.com q for Breyer’s? Saw the Breyer’s one last week and didn’t print it, argh!

  37. Wendy says:

Yay, a really great ad for a change!

  38. Bamagirl43 says:

Can anyone help with a Dr. Pepper scenario? They will be B2G2 and there is the B2G1 Publix q. Can’t seem to get my head around it.

    • Allison says:

Pepsi 12-packs have been running about $5.50 in my area ($5.50 x 4 = $22.00). Subtract $5.50 for Yellow coupon (B2G1) and subtract another $11 for in-house ad (B2G2) and I get 4 12 packs for $5.50 (or 4 for the price of 1). Remember that in-house ads usually required that you purchase ALL 4 so if you get less, it will ring up the regular prices with no discounts at all. MUST BUY 4!

      What does everyone else think?

    • Tammy says:

I did this Dr. Pepper deal this week – I was confused so I stopped by the customer service desk to double check before my purchase. At my Publix (Huntsville, AL) I bought 3 Dr. Pepper and the register took off one as their special. I then used the B2G1 coupon in the Yellow flier and they took off the price of one. Then I was able to use 2 $1 off Target coupons on the one that was marked down and the one I paid for. I also used 2 manufactor coupons (I could have used 3 but I only had 2) to take it down further. So, for 3 Dr. Peppers which the regular price was $5.29 each I paid $1.29 (or 43 cents each!). If you have 3 manufactor coupons you can do even better than that.

    • lee says:

well i have it figured like this. going to buy 12 of them making 6 of them free from ad. then i will use 4 of the b2g1(12=4coupons x 3atb2g1)from flyer making 4 more for free. so i pay for 2 and get 12 of them. this will be an awesome deal

      • Sarah says:

Just for future reference: If you want to get the best deal (paying smallest amount per product) on anything utilizing a sale and a coupon, you want to use the least common denominator (LCD) of the number of products needing to be purchased for the sale and the number of products needing to be purchased for the coupon. For example:

You need to buy 4 Dr. Pepper’s for the B2G2 sale and you need to buy 3 Dr. Pepper’s for the Publix coupon. The LCD between 4 and 3 is 12, so buying 12 of the product will get you the lowest unit cost.

I realize that some people might not want 12 or something or have enough coupons to always use this rule, but it works. Math is applicable.

        • lee says:

uh yeah thats what i did. i said i was buying 12 that way i get another one out of the 12 free. pay for 2 get 10 free.

      • kelley says:

My publix only allows 10 of a sale item. May want to check with yoiur store if your going to buy 12.

        • lee says:

service desk employee is my neighbor. already called her and asked if i could. nice to have neighbors that work at publix. usually when i get a lot more than 10 i special order, but in this case she said it would be fine.

    • RN1 says:

You may want to ask at your CS desk so as not to be surprised at the register. The DP deal this week didn’t work in my area. The District Manager said you couldn’t use the B2G1 coupon on the B2G1 sale, he said you must purchase 4.

  39. Ryan says:

The pampers coupon you have listed as $3/2 says $3.00 OFF TWO bags or ONE Box of Pampers Diapers or Pants. So it can be used as $3/2 OR $3/1 ;)

  40. Virginia says:

Awesome ad thanks so much for all your hard work!!! It is greatly appreciated!!! May God bless you always!!

  41. Teresa says:

    • Nannette says:

Here’s a simple scenario that the IHP/forum member (Qpawn) noted:
      Buy 4 @ $4.99 = 19.96
      2 free from B2G2 = 9.98
      1 free from B2G1F YAF SQ = 4.99
      $4 off from the $1/1 MQ (6/24 SS) = .99
$1 of from $1/1 Target IP = .01 plus tax

Now not all areas offer Dr. Pepper through the Pepsi distributor. I know the Orlando area does, perhaps all of Florida.

There is a scenario posted on the IHP forum (come visit with us) that results in a $7 MM if your store accepts Winn Dixie as a competitor and you have their $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupons!

I’m in Fl where we have true BOGO I’m wanting to use the ritz coupon and I’m confused on the wording B2G1. Am I correct in thinking that I pay for 1 the other is free with the BOGO and the 3rd is free with the coupon??

    Thanks

    • Jennifer says:

Yes. If you buy 6 boxes, use 2 B2G1F coupons, then you get all 6 boxes for the price of 1!

      • Cathy says:

Not exactly. My coupons say max value $2.50.

        • Jennifer says:

Darn it, I hadn’t printed them yet (they are waiting at the printer til I get more ink) so I didn’t see the limit. I think they’re around $3.39 in my area of North FL, so that would be a little over $5 for 6 boxes. Still a good deal!

      • Joanie says:

I’m pretty new to couponing but shouldn’t it be that you get 6 boxes for the price of 2? Pay for 1, 2nd is free with BOGO, then the 3rd is free with coupon, then repeat for boxes 4,5, and 6, meaning you pay for 2 boxes?

        • Sarah says:

No, you will only pay for 1 box (except for the fact that I am sure each box will cost more than the $2.50 max on the coupon.

Box 1 – you pay for
Box 2 – Free with sale
Box 3 – you pay for
Box 4 – free with sale
Box 5 – you pay for
Box 6 – free with sale

Now applying your two B2G1 coupons (disregarding the max amount) to the above scenario:

Box 1 – you pay for
Box 2 – Free with sale
Box 3 – you pay for (free with coupon)
Box 4 – free with sale
Box 5 – you pay for
Box 6 – free with sale (free with coupon, which would pay for box #5 since this is already free).

          • myssi says:

Thank you so much this was the best explained answer I found. I just couldn’t wrap my blonde head around how I would get 5 free until I read your post! :)

        • Crystal says:

Here is the scenario if the coupon took off the entire price of one box…
          6 = Buy 6
-3 = Get 3 free with the BOGO sale
-2 = Get 2 more free with the two B2G1 free coupons
1 = So, you only pay for 1, but you get 6 free

          • Toni says:

I was planning to do this deal also, but my publix in the NW florida panhandle allows us to use additional coupons with coupons that are b1g1. For example, for the item that I have to “buy” with the b1g1 q, they will let me use another cents off q as well. I was planning to buy 6 boxes and use:

            (2) b2g1 (considering they took off the whole product cost)
            (3) $1/2 coupons making all 6 boxes $.1.09 or {$.18 per box}

            Scenerio:

            * Buy 6 at $3.09 x 6 = $18.54
            * Subtract 3 free ones = $9.27
            – Use (2) b2g1 coupons {if they took full price off one box} =$3.09 x 2 = -$6.18
            $9.27-$6.18 = $3.09

            – Use (2) $1/2 coupons = $3.09 – $2 = $1.09 for all 6 boxes or apprx $.18/box

***If they only took off $2.50 per coupon; it’s still a good deal at $2.27 for all 6 boxes or $.37/$.38 per box ***

          • anna says:

            now that’s the best explaination.

          • Tara says:

In the land of half price, is this correct??

I realize the register will ring $1.55 & $1.54, but for this I’m staying at $1.55.

            buy 6 @ 1.55 (or $1.54) = $9.27
            -2 @ 1.55 BOGO sale) -$3.09
            total $6.18

HOPE HOPE HOPE I can use $.75/2 (Target not accepted)
Even with that, I’m not sure it’s worth it for Ritz. Maybe I can ask about the Stocking Spree too.

I have a love/hate relationship with half price BOGO, LOL!!!

Thanks for reading & if I didn’t get it correct please let me know!!!

    • Julie says:

I didn’t notice the $2.50 limit on the coupons until I was at the register. Here in South FL the boxes are $3.89 each. So, I bought 12 boxes, used 4 x B2G1 coupons and a $1/1 Publix coupon and ended up paying $12.23 for 12 boxes. Not perfect, but still a good deal (saved $34).

  47. Shauna says:

Kate H. That is correct, but then you will get a 4th for free with the bogo. So…you pay for 1, the 2nd is free with bogo sale, the 3rd is free with coupon, and the 4th is free with bogo sale! Stock up!!!

  48. Jenna says:

There is a PQ in the Stocking Spree book for $1 off a 16oz box of Ritz. My store allowed me to use this Q on any Ritz because there is no 16oz box. The biggest one is 15.1 oz! Combine this with the B2G1 MQ and the BOGO sale = awesome deal! In the land of 1/2 price BOGO, 3 boxes would be $4.64 – (1)B2G1 MQ – (3) $1 PQ = $0.09 for 3 boxes! I happen to have multiples of certain Stocking Spree Q’s from friends/family that didn’t want them…ask yours and maybe they do too!

  49. MELISSA says:

where do i get the “tear pad”? and where do I get the target home mailer?

  50. Carra says:

Hey Michelle. Thanks for the early ad! I just wanted to let you know that the Winn Dixie coupon for the Kraft Mayo says it’s a retailer coupon but it is actually a manufacturer’s coupon. There’s also a $1/1 coupon for Kraft Cheese and a $1/1 coupon for 16 oz Oscar mayer lunchmeat in that same back to school flyer. I used the $1/1 lunchmeat ones this past week for the turkey lunchmeat and they did scan at the register so they are manufacturer’s coupons. Also, there is a $1.50/2 Cheez it coupon in the Kellogg’s/Keebler back to school flyer that was out a few weeks ago. It expires 9/30. Thanks!

  51. bessy mae says:

Where do I get those TARGET HOME MAILER coupons that you mentioned quite a bit in the ad match ups? thanks!

  52. Melanie K says:

Michelle, I was wondering if we could go back to listing the manufacturer coupons in red and the store coupons in green — I found that to be a big help.

If the sale (Ballpark franks) says “excluding Angus”, does that mean that the $0.55/1 Ballpark Angus Products is not a match? I see it listed though so maybe I’m wrong? I hope so.

  55. Diana says:

Excited about the BOGO sabra hummus! :)

  56. Leigh says:

Question: I have the buy 2 get 1 free Q to do with the Ritz deal and want to know if the “get 1 free” will attach to another BOGO, essentially giving me 4 for the price of one? Or do I just get 3? I live in Florida. Thanks in advance! :-)

  57. Brittany says:

For some reason, I am having a hard time figuring out the Nabisco Crackers BOGO for $3.09 and using the B2G1 free coupon (says max value of $2.50). Does someone have an example that they could give me on how this coupon will work with the BOGO deal, thank you!! =)

    • Sarah says:

      read above comments

    • Crystal says:

      $18.54 = Buy 6 boxes @ $3.09
-$9.27 = 3 boxes from the BOGO sale
      -$5.00 = 2 B2G1 coupons
      $4.27 total for 6 boxes

      I hope this helps.

    • Shanda says:

Does anyone know if we can use the Nabisco $1 off 2 coupon in addition to the B2G1 coupon?

      • RN1 says:

        No you can’t.
While a B2G1 coupon is not addressed, I have been advised that is meets the same stipulations…the coupon requires the purchase of 3 items to be used. Per the Publix coupon policy FAQs:

Q: If an item already has a manufacturer’s coupon attached, will Publix still take an additional manufacturer’s coupon on the item?

A: Sorry, but no. Publix will take an additional Publix or competitor’s coupon, but we can only take one manufacturer’s coupon for an item, regardless of where the coupon came from.

Q: I have a BOGO manufacturer’s coupon. Can another manufacturer’s coupon be used for either of these items?

A: No. When the manufacturer issues a BOGO coupon, it requires the purchase of two items. So, because you have to purchase both items to meet the coupon’s requirements, a manufacturer’s coupon has already been applied to both items.

I am sure some will say that the B2G1 coupon isn’t addressed so it is OK to stack another MQ, but it is my understanding that for any coupon that requires the purchase of another item, whether a B2G1 or Buy X Get X Free, Publix does not allow another manufacturer coupon to be used. You can, however, use a store coupon. HTH

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new shopping list feature!!!!
I do miss the distinct colors of the red for MQ and Green for PQ’s.
    Thanks for all you do!

    • Michelle says:

Ok…Several comments have come in now. The colors are still there (for me at least) when I open the full ad. It does not show of the preview but once the ad is open the list feature activates as does the color. If you are NOT seeing the color coding please let me know what operating system you are using. I tested in Safari, Chrome and Firefox and the colors showed fine. I even tested on mobile and ipad…I do not have IE to test.
      Let me know…thanks!!

  61. Linda says:

Maybe I overlooked it, but where are the B2G1 free coupon for Ritz?

  62. Stephanie says:

Fingers crossed all areas have the same soda deal this time. Last time we had a great deal like this I rushed to the store the first morning of the sale only to find that my area had a different sale running. I’ll for sure be checking my local ad before running out this time!

  63. Shanda says:

There is a coupone for Johnsville Burgers $2 off 1, makes a pretty good deal.

  64. Anna says:

Does anyone have the target friskies coupon? It does not appear to be available anymore? My email is a_diamond_goddess@yahoo.com. Thank you.

  65. Lori M says:

Thank you for your early weekly posts. Going to stock up on a number of goodies this week! Happy shopping all!

  66. CouponCrazy says:

FYI, the Honest Tea coupon prints at the bottom of page. It doesn’t waste an enormous amt of ink like other ads, but I’d still prefer it to print at the top.

  67. Michelle says:

Is there somewhere I can sign up for Target home mailers? I keep seeing coupons coming from these but I’ve never received any.

    • Deb says:

Michelle, I think this is the mystery question of the century. I believe the consensus is that no one really knows how to get on the list. If I am wrong, I would be interested to know this myself.

  68. coupondad says:

I have an advance copy of the ad that starts 8-29 in the Atlanta Division, and for the live of me I can not find Smart Balance BOGO listed in this flyer, thought you might want to know.

  69. Michelle says:

Target mailers, where to find, anyone?…

  70. Libby says:

Dont know if anyone posted about this but there is a $1/1 Softscrub Q in the Sweetbay Sweet Inspirations book BUT it expires 8/31 so act fast!

  71. Alison says:

The buy 2 Heinz ketchup and get one worcestershire sauce isn’t a match, it’s 32 to 36 oz on the ketchup

I’m going to go ahead and get the 30 oz jar of Miracle Whip and use the

that will be BOGO.(The man. q in my SS was only .25)

  73. nikki says:

I think the Nabisco B2G1 is gone!

  74. Sharon says:

I am so confused. If I have three yellow adv coups for B2 G1 dr pepper and the ad says B2 G2 and I don’t have a target coup, how many of these puppies do I put in my cart for the best deal?

    • Deb says:

I did this buying 12. I did not have any coupons, just the YAB and it works out that you will pay for 2 getting 6 free with the B2G2 and another 4 with the YAB B2G1. So buy 12 – get 10 free – pay for 2

If you can use the 5/30 winn dixie, you’ll have to get a filler item so your total will reach 30.00.

  75. Tameka says:

The -FREE Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, 10 oz, WYB 2 Heinz Tomato Ketchup, PUBLIX COUPON Publix Booklet, Toss 4 Cash (exp 09/15/2012) is not a match. It states that it has to be the 32 oz. or 36 oz. The one one sale is for a 40 oz.

Wow.. Michelle.. I LOVE LOVE the new list features of being able to input how many you will be purchasing and how many coupons, etc. This is AWESOME!!! Thanks for all you do.. I know it had to have taken a while to get that working!

  78. JadonsMomma says:

I’m new to this site and trying to get acclimated to using these posts to help me get better at couponing. Does anyone have any advice as to how I shouldstart stockpiling with coupons? I’d love all your advice. I’m a stay at home mom of 2 boys under the age of 3 so I have the time (sort of) to coupon and plan our meals, however I need a jump start.

Thanks in advance for all your advice.

    • Ashley says:

Personally, I aim to pay 1/3 the origonal price for items in my stockpile. For example, it Herbal Essence is typically $3.00 a bottle I am willing to pay $1 or if Ziploc bags are normally $2.49 I am willing to pay around 85 cents a box. This is the method I use in my coupon classes to teach people how to stockpile. Michelle’s ad is pretty helpful in deciding decent stockpile price. However, her prices are based on Atlanta so items that are a stockpile prices may or may not be the same for you depending on where you live.

    • Dana says:

If you’re able to drop the boys off with a sitter one day, go to the store by yourself and make a general price list of the things you know you’re going to buy. That way, when there is a sale, you know if it’s worth buying. It also helps because the prices in Michelle’s list aren’t always the same as mine (I’m in Daytona Beach, FL). I use Publix, Target, and Sam’s Club for my comparisons. Publix is usually the cheapest with the sales. Once you’ve made a price list (I use Excel because I can keep it on my phone and refer to it when I’m in store), you can refer to it to see if it’s a good deal or not!

My best advice: don’t buy something JUST because you have a coupon for it! You’re not saving any money if you wouldn’t have bought it in the first place (I wish somebody would’ve told me that when I first started!). Also, don’t be afraid to let a coupon expire!

Welcome to couponing! You’re gonna love it! :)

      • Melissa says:

You are so right about buying stuff because you have a coupon! When I first started I was actually wasting money and time doing rolling scenarios at CVS because I thought that was what I needed to do lol. Now I mostly shop Publix!

  79. Tara says:

FYI @ Michelle….the new shopping list ROCKS!! Words can not begin to tell you how much it ROCKS!!!! Too bad you don’t blog about ALL the store, tehe!!

  80. Chris says:

There’s a SAVE $0.55 on the Purchase of Any ONE (1) LACTAID® Milk Product on the lactaid.com website.

  81. Jenna says:

The “ree Lea & Peerins WYB 2 Heinz PQ”from the Toss 4 Cash Gameday Plays book will not work with the Heinz BOGO sale. The sale is on the 40oz ottles and he Q is only good on the 32 or 36oz bottles.

  82. Cassi says:

There is a new Facebook Breyers coupon. .75 off 1. https://www.facebook.com/breyers/app_214876255193242

  83. Brandon says:

I know it has been pointed out by several posters, but the free Lea & Perrins WYB 2 Heinz is not a match. You must by either 32 or 36 oz bottles for that coupon. The one’s on sale are 40 oz.

  84. Lindsey says:

Last week I went to the Publix in Daphne, AL, and I had multiple coupons for Target and they said they would only take 1 coupon of the same for Target. That really messed everything up and I ended up taking some of my items off that the cashier had already scanned because of this. Is anyone else having this issue with their Publix store? I even verified this with the manager and she said it was because there was a woman that came in the store and had 30 Target printable coupons (that she obviously made copies of) and wiped the shelf out of stock. I hate that because of this one lady that I am not even able to use 2 of my Target printables. I normally only have 2 Target coupons per 2 items since I can only print 2 manufacture coupons. I ended up paying around $15 more for my items that day just because I couldn’t use more than 1 Target coupon. I could understand them banning people from using more than 2 but I feel like this is not fair. I just wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem.

    • anne says:

Same here, I’m in Miami and tried to use 2 like Target coupons and was told I could not. I also could not use 2 of the 5/30 Winn dixe coupons, even-though my transaction was well over 60.00, I had to do 2 separate transactions.

      • Dana says:

I’m in Daytona Beach, and some Publix stores will allow me to use more than one of the $5/30 coupons and some will not. The coupon does say 1 per transaction, but they usually get a manager to override it.

I’ve never had a problem with using more than one Target coupon for the same item, as long as I bought the same amount of items as I had coupons! I guess this is a YMMV situation!

      • Deb says:

So far my store has not enforced the one Target coupon per…but it would not be unreasonable to put a limit on it to avoid scammers ect. But I think the limit should be 2 since Publix is known for their BOGO’s.

I noticed that today when I went to a different Publix than the one i usually do, they had a sign on the Dr. Pepper and Mt. Dew that there was a limit of 12 per person per visit. And believe me when we got to the register with our 12 the cashier shouted to us in the middle of waiting on the person in front of us. “You can only get 12!!”. We laughed at her and said we saw the sign and we only have 12.

    • Sam says:

Same thing’s been going on over here in central florida. The target coupons generally do specifically state “one coupon or offer per customer” so I understand them wanting to restrict it. Why should Publix honor something the competitor itself does not endorse? In any case, I agree, I think limiting them to two identical Target coupons isn’t unreasonable (especially if you have someone with you and are technically two customers), but the people who abuse the system are indeed ruining it for us all.

      • Debbie says:

My Publix has never said anything about the Target coupons. It’s not like they are being reimbursed by Target. They let me use as many as I want. That would be the rule if you were using them at the Target store. I can say though that I have never used more than 4. That is what manufacturer coupons state so I never go over that many.

        • Jinger says:

I went today to my favorite coupon friendly Publix and was told for the first time that I needed to divide out my cart into seperate $30.00 transactions, and I could only use one target coupon in each transaction for the same items. I could use them (target Coupons) but they would have to be all seperate transactions. I hate change, I an going to have to bet better at my math skill now.

    • Bonita says:

Even though I can usually print 2 of my Target coupons, the coupons themselves say “Limit one coupon or offer per guest.” My cashiers usually follow that. I’m afraid to try to do separate transactions, so I sometimes check out and then go back in to another cashier.

  85. Chris says:

Hey I just noticed that Yucatan Guacamole will be free if you got the Facebook BOGO coupon that was available on Monday. The coupon states Buy One Get One Free ANY Yucatan Product, expires 9/10/12.

  86. Maria says:

I am so sad…this is the 2nd wk am not able to print the list…for the life of me…I can not figre it out am sure is a fabulous feature but – I don’t get it…I don’t even know how to take “screen shot” thanks for the preview.

    • Dana says:

In order to take a screen shot (in Windows), go to the Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping tool. Select what you want to “snip” and click the Save button (the disk) once you’ve clipped what you like! Hope this helps!

    • Michelle says:

      Maria…
Check out the help page. If that doesn’t work email me and I will try to see where the issue might be.

If the list feature is not popping up for you – you may need to clear your browser cache. Some broswers don’t refresh often and you have to give it a little kick in the pants to clear out the old stuff. The plug in is brand new so you may have stored “old” files from visiting here that are not letting the new feature work.

Try clearing your cache and maybe your temp internet files and see if that helps. If not give me a yell and I can see if I can help. So far there have only been a handful of folks with issues and this was the fix for most.

  87. anne says:

what am I missing when I calculate the B2G2 with the b2g1 soda deal my math shows I’m paying for 2 and not one

  88. Dana says:

Ok, maybe I’m a little lost…alright, a lot lost…on the soda deal. I have six $1.00/1 MFG coupons, four $1.00/1 Target coupons, and three B2G1 Publix coupons. If the sale is for B2G2, how in the world can I use the coupons for the best deal?! The normal price for the Dr. Pepper 12 packs in my Publix is $5.99.

Using the shopping list, I can buy four 12-packs and use four Target coupons, four MFG coupons, and two Publix coupons, and only pay $3.98? I’m so confused!!

  89. Tara says:

    :(
all was great with printing the shopping list & know I don’t have a clue what I did wrong. Font is bigger now, so it cuts off the right side.

    any clues anyone?

    thanks!
