Publix Deals & Coupon Roundup From My Inbox
July 4, 2012
I am trying to get my inbox cleaned out a bit so I thought a Publix deals and coupon round up might be a good way to get it done
Jennifer emailed for us to look out for some Kraft coupons when we shop at Publix. She has found coupons for Oscar Mayer Bologna, Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh and the latest is a $1/1 Kraft singles coupon. The great thing is that these are manufacturer’s coupon that match up with the Publix coupons from Cooking With Kraft. It looks to be from the same promotion – nice that that in store coupons can pair with the printables!
Be on the lookout.
Shannon also emailed with a coupon. This Raid coupon was in her junk mail and is a Publix coupon. Check your mail carefully
Thomas and Denise emailed to let us know that right now the AJC is offering a 26 week Sunday only subscription for only $1 per week.
I was hoping to extend my subscription but it was a no go online. I might call to see if they will honor the price as an extension on my current service! That is a nice price!
Remember there are still some deals available for you guys in Florida if you have not check them out:
- SUN SENTINEL: 26 weeks Saturday-Sunday delivery $20 (max 2 subscriptions) for Broward and Palm Beach Counties
- ORLANDO SENTINEL: one year Sunday only subscription $10 (max of 4 subscriptions) 52papers for only $10 (or 20¢ per issue)
Linh emailed with an update on the Smirnoff rebate.
I just wanted to let you know that I got an email from them saying my purchase didn’t qualify. I bought (2) 6 pks of smirnoff and another $28 in other groceries not including the price of the smirnoff which meets their requirements. What they failed to include on the form was that what you pay out of pocket has to be more than $25.01. I used coupons on most everything I purchased and only paid about $12 oop. But I explained to the rep who took my call that the form does not state I have to spend $25.01 it just says I have to purchase that much in groceries which I did, it did not specify how I could pay for it. After a min. on hold she came back and told me they would honor the rebate for me just this one time. In the future you must pay $25.01 out of pocket for them to honor the rebate.
I just wanted to tell you this so that if any other couponers ran into this situation that they should definitely call and ask very politely for their rebate to be honored.
Sue emails to remind us that there Publix printable coupons over on RedPlum. I told you guys about these a few weeks ago but thought a reminder would be good if you have not had a chance to print them yet. They’ll may come in handy for your 4th of July BBQ.

Thanks for the heads up on Smirnoff. I have been hesitant about doing it because it was so unclear. Now that I know, I can plan accordingly. Thanks
yes thanks about the heads up on the rebate. I had a lot of problems with rebates this helps my learning curve.
Kraft 8oz singles are 2/$5 in the ad and 5/$10 in the yellow flyer. Am I missing something?
@ Doug- the 2 for 5$ are 12oz & the 5 for 10$ are 8oz.
You’re right on this week, but next week it’s 7-8oz.
Maybe the ones on this week’s sale are the big slice cheese slices?
Thank you for posting your call to smirnoff. The same thing happened to me and i thought they might just laugh at me. I’m def gonna call.
I took advantage of the smirnoff rebate and purchased things either full price for a party, or for stuff that I want that rarely or never goes on sale.
I can not seem to locate the buba burger coupon. can anyone find it?
I can’t. It was also in the Redplum insert, 6/24 I think.
Has anyone spotted the Kraft coupons in Central Florida?
Not yet in Lake Mary or Altamonte =(
I found those Kraft coupon cards in very early May maybe even late April in south Fl.Besides the ones listed there was also 1/1 Kraft big slice. Which with the Publix and Mfg. made them 79 cents a pack.
I really really really appreciate that Linh said to call and BE POLITE. I think the trap that we all fall into sometimes is this entitlement idea, that someone is stealing from us and they deserve justice! Meanwhile the person on the other end of the phone is just trying to make a living by answering our phone calls. I didn’t even do the rebate, but this caught my eye and I’m glad it did. Thanks for setting a good example, Linh!
Can you tell me the phone number for Smirnoff? I got a postcard from them telling me I didn’t qualify for the rebate, but did not see a phone number. Thanks so much!
I went and bought 4 Kraft mac and cheese this morning and used 2 of the BOGO printable coupons (no longer available). They scanned for 1.60 each (the max value) so I got all 4 boxes for free plus overage!!
I called Smirnoff before I sent in the rebate because my total was $25.25 but that included the beer. I purchased over $100 worth of groceries plus the beer (before coupons) so the lady told me to circle about $30 worth of groceries on the receipt. She said that there should not be a problem with the rebate. Hope this helps. If you have a problem just contact them. The phone number is listed on the rebate.
I actually got my smirnoff $25 rebate today in mail. It is a wonder it was not stolen. The check is actually on a postcard, no envelope, just a post card. So glad no one did!
