Italian Stuffed Steak – Big Taste Small Budget

Do you guys look forward to Monday recipes as much as I do?
Each week Susan over at Our Family Eats sends over some incredible recipes. This week she has a steak recipe that looks awesome - Italian Stuffed Steak.
My mouth is watering looking at the picture. I just got a live basil plant from my produce delivery last week. I think I am going to modify my menu a bit to make this one. I have a big rib roast from a sale a while back that I think would be perfect for this recipe.
Here at my house I do a lot of different rolled and stuffed chicken but I never thought about doing steak. This is going to be a fun one!





















Yes!!!!! My DH lives on tacos, pizza and hamburgers, which I don’t like at all. I am so tired of the same ol’ thing, so I try to implement at least 1 of your Monday specials each week

We make these all the time. Sometimes we add spinach leaves and bacon bits, but you could add anything to them. Hint: if you tenderize it with a meat mallot (both sides) to flatten it thinly, it will roll up easier, and the meat will be very tender. We serve ours with a side of horseradish.
Great recipe. I put the ingredients on my list for our Saturday night dinner this week. I can’t wait to try it. I think I might add a little bacon too.
