* Just wondering is this 5/10 or 2/10?
It is 5/$10 or $2 each.
That’s a great deal for the selects! They are around $5-6 each in my area!
I dont think its the selects that are on sale…its just the regular turkey franks

Publix Donation sheets have Keebler/Famous Amos coupon. Not sure which I purchased but mine is $1/2 bags 8 oz or larger.

In the same “Smart Savings” flyer is also coupon for $1.50 off of Caribou Coffee (Publix coupon)
The Caribou 2/$6 seems to be for the k-cups… the publix q is for the bag

Hi, I know this is out of the topic. This morning I went to Publix and used 14 coupons (half of them are MQ and others are Publix coupons). While waiting for the manager to overwrite a Publix coupon, the cashier was talking to the customer behind me and told her I used many coupons (she mentioned it 3 times) & the total was under $10. I felt embrassed because the way she said it and also I was with my two kids. I would like to know what would you do in this sitution. Thank you.
Just smile and tell the customer behind you that you apologize for the wait and to thank them for being so patiently (if they were).
i would contact the store manager and let him know how u feel and that if this ever happens again i will contact corporate.
I’m sorry that happened to you Mandy. I’ve had rude customers behind me in line, but not usually the cashier. I agree with Rebecca and I would let the store manager know. Most stores have no tolerance for rude or belittling cashiers.
Just hang in there though..don’t let 1 cashier ruin your enjoyment of saving money.
I would contact the store manager as well as corporate. As someone stated in a previous post Publix has no tolerance for rude cashiers or managers. I had to call on both with no hesitation because if I am spending my money I deserve and will receive good customer service. Remember it is your family as well as everyone else family’s money that allow them to stay open and the staff to keep their jobs. Never to late, call corporate today and they will contact the manager who will in turn contact you.
I agree with erline:) for every unfriendly cashier there r 20 great ones. Yesterday at Publix i only had about 15 coupons and i noticed the cashier staring at my handful of coupons before he even said hi to me. I could tell he wasnt excited. I am usually pretty picky about which cashier I go to because frankly your cashier can make or break a “great” coupon experience. btw- all my coupons r legit and i am not buying alot of the same item, just trying to save money and raise 4 kiddos:) but a grouchy cashier can really give u a hard time. but this guy was the only cashier open sooooo….. even after he glared at my q’s and didnt seem friendly I pushed out a “how r u doing today?” before long he had told me all about his allstar baseball grandsons and gave me no trouble with my q’s and didnt make me feel like i just robbed the store:) push through and dont give up!! im willing to take a few jerks to save thousands!I think some couponers can really have chips on their shoulders because frankly this isnt easy, that stack of 15 q’s took me until 1 am monday morning to gather ( wait until everyones asleep)so I try to do my friendly part and not assume everyone in the store thinks im a thief. just my opinion:)Happy couponing to all of u!
I feel your frustration. Last time I had a cashier at my Publix who said, when seeing all my coupons, O.M.G. (she said it loud) and she put her hands to her face !! I felt SO embarrassed. Then she explained me that usually when she sees a customer with coupons she tells them that she is going to close her register. I could not believe my ears !! If this happens again I will tell the cashier that I am ok with her/him not taking my coupons (if that is to much trouble for her/him) but will ask if she or he is going to pay the difference
I would give her the benefit of the doubt. It sounds to me like she was explaining why she needed the overide to the other customer who may not know the system security limitations. She may have been embarrassed that the cus
tomer might think she did not know how to do her job.
This morning I went to my favorite (cheapest) Publix and I had visited the customer service desk first because they no longer had any YA flyers up front. She was very friendly and I went along my way and checked out. I went back up front to get a rain check and while I was waiting I noticed my RITZ crackers rang up as $2.99 instead of $2.63 that was posted right in front of them. The same lady went to the aisle to check and came back to say that I was incorrect and she didn’t see that sign. I apologized and got my rain check. I then went back to the aisle and the sign was still there. I took it back up to her and it seemed like she didn’t believe that I had just gone and got it from the aisle. I showed her my box of crackers and gave her the sign. She then went to her manager and said something and he was like “oh just give it to her”. I wasn’t trying to be a pain or pull anything over on them, I just wanted the price that was posted in front of the item.I left feeling like a thief even though I know I was right.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience at Publix. I have encountered a similiar
situation and I was able to prevail too. I find most Couponers may not know
about Publix Policy on over charged item. Basically if they overcharge, you get
a full refund on one of the item in addition to getting that item for free.

I would have said, “Isn’t it awesome!! I am so excited to save money and provide for my family.” Then I would talk to the manager. THEN I would send a little email to publix corporate. The cashiers get paid by the hour no matter if they have 2 customers go through their line or 20. Next time avoid him or her. Make friends with ones you know and seek them out. Don’t ever let them make you feel embarrassed.
If I can’t get my regular, fave cashiers I always try to “butter up” or distract them a little as they ring up my items. As I wait in line I look them over and try to come up with something to compliment them on or share some couponing strategies with them or just strike up a convo. Usually if you break the ice and start with “oh your hair bow is so cute!” or something like that they don’t scrutinize so much or tend to give you a hard time. I ALWAYS brown nose a little to the cashiers bc I know all my coupons can be a pain. They get paid by the hour so most of em don’t care.
Mandy, great question. Although I’ve never had bad cs at Publix, I’ve often wondered the same thing when it happened to me at other stores. IF I get bad cs at Publix, I think I will contact the manager and corp and reminder the cashier that Publix is an employee owned store. We pay their salary!
I believe there are $1/2 Deer Park Q’s for the 6pk of .5L… Makes them $1.16 ea after Q.

see i am mean…i would have said you know mcdonalds customers dont usually bring in coupons..hint hint…or i would have turned to the customers in line and said..i only had 13 coupons but she has no authority so she had to call a manager. I cant help that our friendly cashier waited till she was completely finished to call a manager…..dont throw me under the bus when im standing right there cause we will both be on the ground with tire marks..
See i love my bilo and i am friends with everyone. one of the cashiers was on a electric scooter parking it at the front and as soon as i walked in she said i ought to run you over with my new car. inside joke cause i always tell her im going to run her over when she is collecting buggies. the other girl today walked past me and said are you gonna look at that candy all day. everytime i go in there atleast 2 employees say huh you back again..even the manager messes with me..he knows i am in there everyday and he asks me jokingly can i help you find anything..i said do you really think i need help i know this store just as well as you do.. and it helps that my 6 year old has a girlfriend that works in the meat department and another girlfriend that works in the bakery dept.
Okie dokie…I think I added all the extra coupons to this point. I did not add any Publix coupons to the Publix coupons in the flyer…. since you will have to choose one or the other.

Happened to me last week actually… And since aunt flo was on her way into town, I cried when I got home, lol… The cashier actually walked away half way through, and said “help me, jesus!”…. If it’s that bad, I wonder why they are in that line of work… I had my 7 year old with me… I had already warned the two people in line behind me before they started putting their stuff down, but still the one lady slammed all her stuff back in her basket, and said “i always get stuck behind the wic or cheap coupon ladies”. I would’ve said something- but I was already slightly emotional and did not want a scene in front of my daughter. It’s hard- but I have to keep reminding myself that THEY are the idiots paying 200 dollars for what I just paid 20 for.

I also have to say the best response to someone who laughs or critcizes or says hurtful words is to tell them Im sorry your to lazy to save money but I bet my family eats better than you, is happier than you because we have the ability to take our kids to fun things since we save so much money by couponing and most likely have less debt than you (i know that last might not be the case with all of us) but you get the point. We are smart, resourceful, intelligent, money smart women (and men) who know a good deal and how to suceed.
the publix I shop at is mostly all tourists its in perdido key in pensacola, the prices are more then other publix stores in the area being the tourists shop there I dont give a rats A** how long someone behind me waits , go to another line, I always tell the person who gets in line behind me I hae alot of coupons most people are nice and say thanks for letting us know and they move, the majaority of time when customer service sees me walk in theya re prepared to have another register open to check out my mom and i but one instance I had a lady get behind me and actually saying comments oh your one of those frugal people who clear a shelf I looked at her and said SO go somewhere else, she got upset and complained to a manager and the manager took my side and said well we had other lines open for people who are not doing coupons I was so impressed by it then the lady rode my butt all the way to the end of the road in our cars,, some people right

I am super excited about some of the sales in this ad! On another note when some one behind me or the cashier makes a fus, I explain to them that it is my money and I am following the coupon policy “I do not have any money to waste” I also usually tell the people behind me to begin with that I have a lot of coupons and might take a while, I have had people stand behind me even after this to see how much I save (I frequnetly carry coupons around for items I will never buy and give them to people with that item at the checkout who hang in there) I also try and get the same cashiers and it doesnt hurt to tell the managers when you have a Good or bad cashier !
