Publix Weekly Totals – Share Your Totals!

I tell you the weeks are flying by, I feel like it was just yesterday that I sitting here going through receipts and doing my weekly totals. Hopefully the summer does not fly by too fast – we still have lots of fun things we want to do!
It was a somewhat boring shopping week for me. I hit Publix once and dropped by Kroger to grab some free pancakes (thanks to a promotion I did on one of my other sites) and to use up the remainder of a gift card I found in my drawer.
As my husband was helping me put away the groceries and trying to cram the frozen pizzas into the freezer, he asked if I really needed to shop anymore –tee hee! We have so much on hand at this point, I really do need to keep my shopping trips small. I will need a few things here and there but like I told him, I really am only buying things that are at the very lowest price possible as well as getting the few things I need for the week.
There was no way I was passing up super cheap Red Gold tomatoes and Pantene!! They both have a very long shelf life and WILL be used here at my house at some point! Ok…so the pizzas were not a must have item. At some point when I am in no mood to cook dinner, I will be very happy to have them in the freezer!
So as you see, this week’s trip was just to grab the best deals on items that will be used over the next few week/months.

That means I spent $15.10 of my grocery budget this week. Not too bad at all.

My best week ever!!! I try to brag about it and explain all my cleverness to people I know, but no one else I know coupons
… So they have no idea how amazing I feel about it, lol….
I understand you plenty and congrats! This week I took pictures of my haul and receipt and emailed my friends but they didn’t care so I just stood in the mirror and congratulated myself;-D.
You should feel very amazed. My first time getting cash back I argued with the cashier telling her that she is not supposed to give me change. I even had her call a manager. Then I gave in and took the change and left the store smiling. I told everyone, but only my friend who coupons understood. I tell everyone that couponing is my part time job that pays in groceries.

Had a great week. Spent $104 but saved $130!! Stocked up on a bunch of produce and meat, so of course that ran my bill up a bit. I was so glad to still see I saved more than I spent!

I did great this week, I love all the deals! I broke mine up into a few different transactions so I could use several $5/30 coupons (my store doesn’t mind this). I spent $25.87 and saved $320.18! That’s a 92% savings!

Wooho! Second week of couponing and it’s been over a year since I couponed.

$50 gas card after coupon=$40 (will use at Kroger Shell and save .10 a gallon
I still have my Kroger shopping to do and by te looks I it, eggs, bacon,sausage,carrots,etc. will be money in my pocket. All free!
