This week the Publix penny item for 5/23 or 5/24 is Publix Glass Cleaner.
The mystery item coupon is valid for one day only –the day your ad begins (either Wednesday or Thursday). The actual coupon can be found in the newspaper on your penny item day! Florida does not participate in the penny item promotion. Leave a comment below if your store offers a different item!

I wish I knew why we, here in Florida, can’t get the same deals at Publix that the other states get? I know Publix is based in Florida, but how does that benefit us? We don’t get any perks! No penny day, no seniors day, no doubling of coupons!
I live in lower alabama and ours dont double.
I live in an area of florida with little competition, therefore, no perks. They already know they have our business.Although I do like publix, if they could show us a little love, it would be nice.
I just moved to Enterprise, Al – no doubling, no penny item and no Target as competitor.
The penny item was Dunkin Hines dark chocolate fudge brownies
When I shopped this day at a local Publix their penny item was publix brand sandwich cookies (the oreo type) instead of glass cleaner. This store typically doesn’t have what the websites state the penny item is.
