This week the penny item for 5/16 or 5/17 is Publix Pasta Sauce.
The mystery item coupon is valid for one day only –the day your ad begins (either Wednesday or Thursday). The actual coupon can be found in the newspaper on your penny item day! Florida does not participate in the penny item promotion. Leave a comment below if your store offers a different item!

I keep meaning to ask this but I always forget to…where exactly do I find the penny item coupon at? I’m in GA, and I looked through the newspaper but I never find it….is it in the Sunday paper in a specific article?
it is in the ajc on the day of your penny item…living section (Thursday pg 2 for me) Be aware some folks sale starts on Wed in GA!

I’m in Greenville, SC, and our penny item this week was the 35oz bottle of Hunt’s ketchup
I stopped shopping at Publix regularly partially because they got rid of the penny item. How long has it been back? But, now that I know it is back but only available on one day I may at least make a weekly run to Publix since it is on my way home. How long has the penny item been back?
