Enjoy The City Book Deal Is Back (Winn Dixie Coupons & Tons Of Entertainment Discounts)

May 31, 2012

Books Enjoy The City Book Deal Is Back (Winn Dixie Coupons & Tons Of Entertainment Discounts)This deal is back so I thought I would share for anyone who missed it before the holiday weekend. I have to admit that I never really checked out the books like I should have when I first posted. I figured since I could not use the Winn Dixie coupons that it was not worth my money. Ummm….yeah I was wrong!! The Atlanta book is packed with tons of discounts for things we already do!! I have big plans to keep the kids busy this summer and now I will be able to score some massive discounts!

My book has discounts for Six Flags, Zoo Atlanta, Stars & Strikes, Braves tickets, some of our favorite restaurants…even BOGO haircut coupons that I can use for the boys!! That is just a few of the options. I could kick myself for not paying attention sooner. I saw by the comments last time that you guys were excited and now I know why. These really are some fantastic books!

Now I am also checking out the books for the places we plan to visit this summer. We plan on going back to Chattanooga and we are going to Washington DC at my oldest son’s request. I might as well score some options for discounts there too! Gotta love saving when you vacation!

Once again, through Tuesday 6/5 at midnight CST, you can get five Enjoy the City coupon books in the area of your choice for just $25 (including free shipping). Plus, if you order 20 books or more, you will get your order doubled for FREE by Enjoy the City.

As a reminder, in many areas, Enjoy the City books contain (4) $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupons…perfect for those of you who can use them at Publix as competitor coupons. The $5/$30 coupons expire 12/31/2012 or 6/30/2013 depending on the area you order.

The five books are a fantastic deal but for you guys who can use those Winn Dixie coupons you really might want to consider grabbing a bunch and taking advantage of their offer to double when you buy 20 books! Grab a friend or two to go in with you. Split 40 books with a buddy…each of you pay $50 and save $400 on your groceries!!

Buy 20 books for $100 with code HEART
Automatically get 20 free with promotion – total of 40 books
That is 160 $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupons or $800 in savings

To get your deal, just head over to the Enjoy the City page, grab 5 (or more) books and use code HEART at checkout to get your discount. This code expires at midnight CST on Tuesday, 6/5, so grab your books while you can!

A couple of notes -

You can “preview” the book for your area before you order to make sure the Winn Dixie coupons are included – they are usually the first coupons in the book.

The Winn Dixie coupons are valid at any Winn Dixie store (or Publix that accepts Winn Dixie as a competitor)

If you choose to order 20 books or more, you will NOT see the doubled order reflected in your “purchased” books. The doubled order is automatically done by Enjoy the City when they ship your books. If you’d prefer, you can call Enjoy the City at 866-359-2489 Ext. 215 or Ext. 211 to verify that your order will double before you place your order.

Thanks so much for this offer! This is my first time ordering the Enjoy books, so I did call Customer Service to verify and confirm that my order of 20 would be doubled upon fulfillment. Looking forward to those WD coupons to use at Publix. Free shipping and my card was only charged $100 for the 20 ( actually 40 ;) ) books…thanks again!

  2. Debbie says:

Does the offer expire at Midnight Tues. 6/5 or Sun. 6/3. You have Tues. 6/3, which must be a typo, but just want to clarify when the offer expires so I don’t miss out. Thank you.

I ordered 10 days ago and have not gotten mine and I spent $100.00 hoping to sell some for my children’s soccer team. I am thinking about filing a fraud claim on my credit card as I cannot get anyone to answer the phone at this company. I would think hard about this one if you plan on spending a lot.

    • ChristyS says:

      Hi Tracie!

I’ve ordered multiple times from Enjoy the City and have generally gotten my books within 4 or 5 days and I’ve always had REALLY good experiences with their customer service. I checked the website and it does say to allow 2 weeks shipping time so you might want to wait a few more days. I would imagine that with everyone ordering TONS of books right now it may have slowed down their processing time just a little.

    • Kim says:

When they have these promotions, they do tend to have a backlog. I would wait a little longer if I were you. I’ve ordered multiple times and the shipping time has varied depending on the promotion.

    • Michelle says:

I am not sure a 10 day turn around is feasible especially since there was a holiday thrown in the mix.

I have found the folks to be extremely responsive – here is what they said:

“Customer Service:  our standard order requirements for our deals includes a
note to “allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery”. Some orders are filled quicker,
but that is the standard.  Our customer service extensions are 211 and 215
(for only 2 representatives).  We answer calls as quickly as possible.
Customers can also email us at cs@enjoythecity.com.”

      I hope that helps!
      Michelle

I also have ordered these books three different times and have received my books just as promised. I have taken advantage of the last deal sharing with my daughter. Well worth the money I have spent just in the savings I have already gotten and the saving I will receive. Thanks for sharing this great deal.

Tracie I’m sure you will not be disappointed when you receive your books.

    • Dee says:

The ones I ordered on May 21st just showed up today. I’m sure you will have yours in a day or so. This is a very reliable company.

    • Alyssa L. says:

I’ve had my books arrive in just a few days, but when there is a fantastic sale such as this one, it can take a little longer — some books I have ordered have taken 2 or so weeks, which is within the timeframe they provide on their website. In short, I have not had a bad experience with this company and I have ordered from them 5 times now.
Try e-mailing them. They have been incredibly responsive via e-mail. Try this e-mail: cs@enjoythecity.com

  4. Traci says:

OK, I put 20 in my cart, I used the HEART code, I qualified for free shipping, my total is $100…BUT…it is asking me for CC info, and is not mentioning anything about DOUBLING to 40…what do I do???

    • Michelle says:

If you choose to order 20 books or more, you will NOT see the doubled order reflected in your “purchased” books. The doubled order is automatically done by Enjoy the City when they ship your books. If you’d prefer, you can call Enjoy the City at 866-359-2489 Ext. 215 or Ext. 211 to verify that your order will double before you place your order.

      • Traci says:

Yes, I need to do that, because I don’t want them to say that no where on my receipt does it say 40 books, etc…

        • Dee says:

You will also get an email when you place the order. At the bottom is a reply box for their customer service. I asked about the doubling of my order of 20 in that reply box and got back an email (next day or so) advising that, yes, the order would be doubled.

I had an issue once when I ordered books and they went above and beyond to resolve the problem.

I cannot say enough good things about this company!

    • Alyssa L. says:

When I ordered using this deal, I placed a note in the “special instructions” box on the order form that it was my understanding that this order would double (for a total of 40 books), but if I was incorrect, to please cancel the order and let me know. I received this response within a matter of hours:

This is to verify that your order qualifies for the offer to double books if 20 or more were ordered (if you ordered 20, you will receive 40; if you ordered 50, you will receive 100, and so on). Note: The order receipt is for the books you purchased. The bonus books will not be reflected on the Order Confirmation/Receipt; however, our office knows the bonus criteria and will process accordingly.

  5. Collegecouponing says:

Haven’t tried purchasing yet but can you get 5 from different areas or do they all have to be from the same town/location?

  6. Chris & Myr says:

Anybody in the Orlando area that would like to split an order?

    • Michelle says:

I ordered a couple days ago. If you near Oviedo I would be willing to split the order with you. That way we could meet up somewhere near by whenever my books come in.

      • Chris & Myr says:

Sounds great. I live near Red Bug Lake Park. I would be interested in the bonus 20 if that works for you? Thanks Chris…

        • Michelle says:

Yeah, that sounds good. I will sell you my bonus 20 for $50 so it’s an even split. Why don’t you email me at augustine719 at yahoo dot com, and then I can email you whenever my books arrive.

  7. Traci says:

OK, so I called…they told me that it would take 7 to 14 BUSINESS days to receive…, so those of you who ordered and have not received…don’t panic. She said that if you havent received in about ten BUSINESS DAYS, call them to verify. I got right through…866-359-2489 Ext. 215 or Ext. 211

  8. Nicole says:

I looked at some of the Florida books and the WinnDixie ones seem to expire 06/30/12. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
I won’t be able to order 5 books if they expire 06/30 already.

    • Kaylee says:

My most recent order (about two weeks ago) of Florida books all had Winn Dixie coupons that expire on 6/30/2013. It may just be an old version of the preview. I ordered Treasure Coast, Palm Beach and Orlando if that helps.

    • Natalee says:

The above post stated this “The $5/$30 coupons expire 12/31/2012 or 6/30/2013 depending on the area you order.”
      HTH!

    • Jen says:

That might be true, but if you order the Gainesville ones – expires 12/31/12.

      Broward county is 06/30/13.

If you are purchasing primarily for the w/d coupons, just use another area with the later expiration date.

      Hope this helps!

    • Sharon R. says:

I zoomed in on the Tampa book page for Winn Dixie and the expiration said 6/30/13.

  10. Kay U. says:

Is the code working? It is telling me that it can only be used individually. Not sure what that means

  11. Amber C says:

Just ordered my 5 books. This is an awesome deal!! a friend of mine gave me one of these books for Christmas….& it well worth the price. We have used so many coupons out of the books! Great Deal….dont miss out!!!

  12. Jamie says:

I have purchased so many of these books this last year at $5 a piece that when the deal arose to buy them for $2.50 if you bought 100, I jumped on it. I have 8 ready to go to give teachers tomorrow but I am keeping most to use for competitor q’s at winn dixie. I really haven’t even looked at the others in there. I split my trans into $30 each – every time I go and always use a $5 off. I did it just this morning on the Progresso soup deal and did two deals each of 20 cans of soup. It made the soup, .25cents each. Such a phenomenal deal!!!!! Last week, one of my stores let me combine my total into one trans and use them all together instead of splitting trans and I got 20 bottles of 100 oz of gain and 20 boxes of bounce. With all the q’s and being able to combine the trans and just take 8 off the total, it made each 100 oz $5 and then got me a free box of bounce. That was an awesome deal too. LOVE these 5 off’s – they totally can change how a deal looks!

  13. Marie says:

Im planning to buy Palm Beach book and Treasure Cost book but they’re sold out. :(

  14. Amber says:

These books are a great deal, but beware the customer service. I bought quite a few of these on a similar sale back in the middle of march and my books did not arrive for 5 weeks! When I talked to customer service (after many tries to call/email i finally was called back 7 days later) they told me I had to wait another 2 weeks for the books and then they refused to do anything to compensate me for my wait. Since Winn Dixie is a competitor for my Publix it is hard to turn down a deal like this though, so I would probably order from them again anyway.

  15. Mary says:

Does anyone know if the Tampa or Lakeland books expire at the end of June 2012 or do they expire in 2013? I was thinking about ordering 100 but if they expire in roughly 30 days, it won’t be worth it to me. I appreciate any input. :) Thanks!

  16. Amy says:

Thanks for posting I just ordered mine

  17. Bill Gray says:

I tried to order 20 books last night but it wouldn’t let me checkout. Please let me know what I can do to order my books.

    Thank you!

    Bil
