That’s something you might want to ask about at your customer service desk. I asked at my store a few months back and they let me use both as long as I spent $30 on groceries not including the gift card.

how does this work?
For every $25 you spend, you can get a $50 gas card for $40. Basically you just ring up the gas cards with your groceries and they enter the LEU# on the coupon for however many cards you got and it takes $10 off your entire total.
I just used my LAST card that I had stocked up on this week. I also have been saving my fuel perks for this deal. SUPER excited!
Can you clarify “Buy 1 Scrubbing Bubbles One Step Kit, Get a One Step Scrubbing Bubbles Refill FREE”. Is this a coupon or an automatic discount? It would go with the coupon in the 4/1 inserts for buy one scrubbing bubbles gel, get one refill or starter kit free. So the scenario would be :
Buy one scrubbing bubbles toilet gel
one scrubbing bubble starter kit
one scrubbing bubble refill
Use Publix discount for free refill
Manufacturer coupon for free starter kit
So you would get all three for the price of the gel!!
I think you might have this wrong.
The coupon is for the fresh brush starter kit.

I got that one also, and also found a free poptarts peelie wyb 2 kelloggs cereals. Those have a size restriction though for a 18 oz box or more. They were found at winn dixie.

Publix just changed their redefined their poicy. You can fint it on their website.

I attempted to use a Target coupon for Target’s brand of chunk cheese today for a block of Publix brand cheese. The cashier and manager were very nice but wouldn’t accept the coupon. I hadn’t printed the policy so I came home and called customer service. The lady I spoke with said she would have to verify that with the store’s district manager. He is supposed to call me back. So eventhough their website states they will, you still may have some difficulty depending on the instruction to the individual store. That said, however, still a great shopping experience. If I’d been at Walmart, I would’ve left upset due to a poor customer service attitude.
I think it depends on which stores your Publix views as competitors… We cannot use Target Qs at our store because they are not viewed as competitors, only WinnDixie and Kroger are…

Michelle did a post that included the topic not too long ago. It is on publix.com on the coupon Q&A page. They take private label coupons of competitor stores for identical Publix brand items.

For every $25 you spend you can get a %50 gas card for $40. The senerio ends up being, when you buy your groceries you have them scan your $50 gas cards with it. Then they enter the LEU# for each card and it takes $10 off your entire total. I pretty much just have it apply to my savings total for my groceries and not the gas because I am going to spend $50 in gas anyways but it all works out in the end.
I have a single page flyer for $1/1 Kraft Big Slice cheese exp 4/25 from Publix recently and I found a $1/1 Lysol All Purpose Pourable or bathroom cleaner tear pad with a Dollar General logo – but it is a manufacturer coupon. I don’t know if the Lysol one will apply to the BOGO stuff though.

You have your chose of options. You can chose from any of the gas cards that your store carries. Mine carries Shell, BP, and Hess.
Hess stopped participating in the gas card deal in my area. My store pulls the $50 Hess gift cards off the racks before the sale starts.
the coupon for -10/50 gas card will be in the ad.the gas cards are located with the other gift cards,some store have a rack others have a turn style.
I saw the peelie on kelloggs for 3.00 off of milk when u buy 3 boxes but it also says void if it is not peeled off by a cashier. Haven’t tries it as yet.
I saw that too but does not make sense because if you buy 3 boxes of cereal, you will get 3 coupons and you can only use 1 every 3, so you will have two more to use at a later day and also they have a long expiration day… I know they probably did that to avoid people getting the peelies off and selling them on ebay.
I am going to talk to my cust. serv. to avoid any problems, after all what kellogs want is to sell their product, right?
I think this is their way of stopping people from stealing coupons off products, good luck! I can see why they put that notation on the coupon because I wanted to get a bottle of Welch’s squeezable jam at Target and someone took ALL the peelies off ALL the bottles save for one WAY in the back. I couldn’t believe it! But I totally understand you logic and you are right.

Do you remember where? Myself and my 3 kids are whiter than rice!! We buy the special SPF 100+ and wear it every day, so any coupon savings are a big help.

So, you can just imagine what we look like together, with him a nice tan and me white! LOL!! It’s like someone forgot to color me im the picture. haha!
Just to let you know, anything over 30 spf is a VERY minimal increase in protection…maybe an extra 10 minutes in the sun. They like to charge Much Much more because it sounds good. BTW, I am a nurse that works on the Oncology Unit in a hospital

There was a printable CLorox bleach coupon at coupons.com a while back. Mine expires on 4/10 so I will be shopping Monday. It was for $.25 per 82 oz or larger.

I believe that coupon is says it is a manufacturers coupon-but it has not bar code. It has no LU# either if it was a Publix Q. It is very strange.

I feel if they see it as a whole they wont question its legitamacy because it is legit

Yes, according to Publix’s new coupon policy you can use Target brand coupons to buy Publix brand products. Yea!!

Yes, it works with any store that your Publix considers a competitor. So if your store takes Kroger coupons, then you can use them for any similar Publix brand product!

The Target coupon is not MQ, but it requires the purchase of BOTH a refillable razor and cartridge pack. So no moneymaker, but would be a great deal if you use this type of razor.

I have found them in the past – not necessarily within the last month or so.
I am a faithful & loyal Publix shopper. Due to the tough economy I have forced myself to use coupons & it became clear to me the publix coupon policy which I followed to the ‘t’. Today, I attempted to run 3 separate transactions so that I may be able to use a competitors $10 off of $50 purchase. The store clerk told me that I could not use this coupon until all of my coupons were scanned & if after they were scanned, my total was $50 or more, that I can use this coupon. I have always been able to use these types of coupons prior to scanning all others! So please tell me was I in the wrong? And the way they approached me at the store left me feeling insulted! Never have I been treated this way! Has this happened to anyone else?
I should have noted – each of my 3 transactions amounted to $50+ each (not total). Therefore, I would be using 3 of the $10/$50
My friend used her $10/$50 at another Publix – guess I know which one I’ll be shopping at.
That $10 off $50 did state order must total the mimiumum required purchase amout of $50 AFTER all discounts are applied. I also tried to use mine and never noticed this in the small print, but it was right there. The cashier at Publix sure did point it out to me…..Shame on me for not noticing that fine print. My order came to $87.00 and after coupons I wittled it down to $31.00, so I couldn’t use the above mentioned coupon. Oh well, I thought I’d be spending 21.00 and ended up spending 31.00 – still not a bad deal with all the coupons I had. I think the cashiers cringe when they see me coming….Coupons are money to me also and that’s how I use them. Best to you all!
Sweetbay coupon was the $10 off $50 and my Publix refused to take it even though my total came to $87.00. She almost didn’t take my Winn Dixie $5 off of $30.00 but the verbage wasn’t there to support that one. My Publix is really cracking down for what ever reason.

I’m not complaining – I’m just saying – I thought I could use that coupon and the verbage and cashier stated that I couldn’t – unless the total order after all coupons used came to $50.00 – which I knew it wouldn’t and didn’t. She almost wouldn’t take my $5 off $30.00 Winn Dixie due to the same and that coupon didn’t have the same verbage so I would have fought that one!! Publix is really watching every coupon that comes through now. If it says one per person per transaction – that’s all you can use. I got 2 Duncan Hines cake mixes which were BOGO and the verbage on the coupon stated I could only use 1 and the cashier only let me use 1 coupon instead of 2 – Really!! Why BOGO is you can only use 1 coupon.
Sometimes it depends on the cashier as well as the store. The store I usually go to is very lenient on the deals even if it says one deal per person, they will let you buy as many as you want.
I went to another Publix because I got the Sweet Bay coupons and they were a competitor at that location. I had 4 coupons and did 4 separate transactions, taking my groceries to the car after each transaction. Did not have a problem with any of the cashiers on using it the 10 off 50.00 coupon. With my coupons I wittled the totals well below 50.00 on all my transactions with one of them totaling only 12.00 after coupons. I spent about 113.00 an saved 205.00
However on my third transaction, I tried to use more than one of the Publix 2.00 off fresh meat coupons and the cashier wouldn’t let me because it does state one per person. I told her to void my order so I could regroup to meet my 50.00 (I had figured out the totals as close to 50.00 as possible) so she begrudgingly said she would take it, and pay for it out of her own pocket if need be. I just said thanks, that’s really nice of you. I wasn’t sure what to do, she had only rang up a couple of things, it didn’t seem that much of problem to do. So whatever crabby cashier.
On my fourth transaction, I still had 2 more of the 2.00 off fresh meat coupons, but only got one pack of meat, and when I was handing off my coupons to the cashier, he saw that I had two of the coupons, and asked it I got 2 meats. I told him what the other cashier said, and he said that it was ridiculous and asked if I wanted to go get another pack of meat, but I didn’t want to hold up the line and said no.
Also when I was on transaction 2 I had two of the Yellow Flyer items that needed a coupon, and that cashier said I had to have a coupon for each item. I expressed my apologies because at my usual store they use 1 coupon and just ring it up for each item since its a store coupon. She said she never heard of that, and she was going to ask about it later, and sent the person bagging to get another yellow flyer so I could have the coupon.

Each store has it’s own policy regarding that language on coupons. In my area some stores hold it to $50 before coupons, others hold it to $50 after coupons. Blessed am I that the store nearest my house does the former.

But the coupon in question is not a mfr coupon…
When I presented this to my store, I told them that DISCOUNTS were not included as coupons, DISCOUNTS were price off items. This was verified with, in my case, the Save A Lot coupon. If it states DISCOUNTS, coupons are not considered discounts, bogo and cents off or special pricings are discounts. Not sure if this helps

@ Grace Thrift – I had the $10 off of $50 from sweetbay and again for whatever reason the clerk / mgr refused to take them. They said that my total after ALL coupons were scanned had to amount to $50. Never had this happened before – so I wanted to see what the community thought & if this has ever happened to them.
Sweetbay, GFS, and Albertson’s coupons all have that kind of wording on it. Winn Dixie and Publix are the only ones who don’t say anything about a minimum, so I am always happy to see these come around. My store used to not care, but started tightening up on the wording the last time they changed the coupon policy. It all depends on if your store considers a coupon to be a discount, which I don’t think they should since they get that money back and then some. They don’t seem to understand that I would buy more if they interpreted it differently.
did you check the wording on the competitor coupon? usually publix will do dollar off coupons prior to scanning coupons, but the competitor coupon wording will trump publix’s policy. this may have been the case in your situation.
Here’s the policy right off of the publix website:
“Q: What should the acceptance criteria be for a coupon that states $40.00 purchase must be met after all other coupons/discounts have been applied. Not valid on purchases of stamps, gift cards, alcohol or tobacco products.?
A: Our policy states that coupon acceptance is subject to any restrictions on the coupon, so in this case we’d use the more restrictive limitations printed on the coupon.”
There was a $1 off any one Van’s product coupon available on their facebook page. Also on bottles of Sambazon there are hangtags of $2 off when you buy any (1) Sambazon & any one (1) Van’s product together! exp 6/15/12

Rats. The on line Publix sales on Publix.com does not show any $10/$50 gas deals at all.
Usually the Publix website has printable coupons for the gas cards, but not this time. Does anyone know of where to get a printable? I hate to destroy entire weekly ads just to get the coupons – and I need about six. My Publix does require a separate coupon for each gas card.
I just went out and bought a paper that has a Publix flyer in it. The gas coupon is on p 2 of the flyer. Evidently they did not see fit to show it on line.

You can get the weekly ads for free in the store and it has the gas card coupon in it.
That’s what I did – went by the store and picked up eight sales ads. I just hated wasting all those ads for the coupons, but I didn’t see any other way. I’ve been waiting a long time, holding off on making a lot of purchases, for a gas card deal.
There is a coupon i the SS4/1 for buy two,get one free (up to $2.49) any Ken’s dressing. So my thinking is that if I buy 4 at $3.55 BOGO my total before coupons would be $7.10. With the coupon, one of those would deduct $2.49 (not free, since item is priced above max value of coupon) so then I would be paying $4.61 for 4 dressings. Almost like buy 1 get 3 free! I don’t see any fault in my logic, but does anyone else see a problem with this?
Your coupon must be different from mine. My B2G1 is for the 9oz, not the 16oz.
Unfortunately the Tampa Bay area, and I believe all of Florida, do not get the $2.99 Publix milk offer. It would have been an easy $3 toward the $25 requirement for the gas card!
If you have a Fresh Market in your area on Tuesdays they have specials each month- This month they have a few good ones & tomorrow milk is $2.99 a gallon limit of 4 per customer. Love Publix but I have to follow more than one store to make ends meet!
The $2.99 milk offer wasn’t available in Tallahassee either, but I did have a $1 off any milk WYB three Kelloggs cereals coupon that I combined with $1.50 worth of Kellogg’s cereal coupons. Whoohoo!

What is MIR? as in :

MIR = Mail in Rebate… meaning you pay whatever it is in the store, and when you fill out a form, send in your UPC label, you will receive X dollars from the company for purchasing their product.
Mosty of the Kraft coupons you listed are excluded from the sale
Like Fresh Takes and Milkbites but that 50% off cheese is still a great deal

I am wondering if the $5 off $30 purchase can be used with the gas gift card coupon to purchase the $50 gift card?? It doesn’t say not valid on gift cards.
I used them together today. As long as you reach the $30 mark with items not excluded as stated on the coupon, you can use the $5/$30 and do the gas card deal. The gas card deal is not actually going toward the items in your order but going towards the purchase price of the gift card… that is how they view it. HTH

uhm, are we sure about the coupon info for Crystal Light? I looked all throughout my 3/18 Smart Source inserts and can’t find that coupon…it IS the insert with the coins on the front, right?
My 3/18 SS insert cover page has Visionworks on it w/a pic of a curly headed woman w/glasses. & I do have the coupon in mine, It depends on the region we live in,they’re all different.

Whole foods has printable coupons including .50/1 vitamin water. That would make each bottle only .50! Normally they are 1.49 here in Kendall!

I think the Klondike coupon has had the max number of prints allowed. Someone mentioned it up higher in the comments section. Often companies will limit the number of coupons available via facebook.

I LOVE when Publix has the $10 off $50 gas card coupon. With gas running $3.50 to $4.00 a gallon, this is like getting a 70 to 80 cent per gallon discount. I’m in West Florida (Pensacola) and it seems we NEVER get the great deals available in Tampa. Thank heavens we got this one!
Went to Publix last night and noticed that Rice Krispies have a peelie coupon on them that states “buy two Rice Krispies Cereal and get a bag of M&Ms free.” This is not the individual M&Ms at the checkout. It is for the regular size ones on the shelves. Cereal for cheap and M&Ms for free!

You can use both. The Enfamil check is just that….a check, not a coupon.
The Publix’s in Central Florida that I have been to do not require you to have the exact number of Publix coupons, or even any, on hand. If you know there’s a Publix coupon for an item just ask the cashier to look in the binder for it. Or just have one copy and ask them to input it multiple times if u are buying multiples of that particular item. This only works if it’s a publix coupon with a code to enter, not a barcode coupon.
Also, the Winn Dixie add has a $1 off Red Baron coupon. My Publix doesn’t carry the exact type of pizza the coupon was for but they honored it anyway. So I got BOGO pizzas and $1 off each.
This is not true for all CF stores. My store requires a coupon for each item.

Out of curiosity, which stores in central FL? Lake Mary and Altamonte stores (the ones I most frequently visit) usually require a coupon for each item.
I’ve never tried negotiating with them (mentioning wasted paper, etc.) though…
I’m calling corporate Publix tomorrow – I just got back from publix and my total was 31.87 and I purchased a gas card (needed to spend $25 to get the gas card. Gave her my $5 off $30 publix coupon along with my other coupons and she stated I couldnt use the $5 off $30 – I’d need to spend ANOTHER $30 to use the $5 off $30 – REALLY!!! I’ve NEVER heard of that? I even showed her their own policy and they wound not budge. So – I’m asking all you out there – Am I wrong?? What is going on here? Help!
My total before coupons and including 2 gas cards was over $200. I used 3 $5/30 Publix coupons, got 2 $10 discounts for the gas cards and then used all my other coupons in one transaction and without a problem. Always ask for a manager if you have an issue. I’ve found that for the most part they are very helpful and side with the customer. I switched to a different Publix after having some issues. I made sure to get to know the General Manager and tell him why I switched. I have no problem sending complaints if I feel I was treated unfairly, but I also send praise comments twice as much. If you’re in good with your Publix management it makes things easier when you know the rules and you know you’re following them correctly and have an issue with a cashier.
Actually my total was $34.69 – But really – What I’m asking is – should I have been allowed to use the $5 off $30 publix coupon or not? She said I could only purchase the gas card – Do I need to spend another $30 to use my $5 off $30? In the past when they had gas cards I never had to do this. This is a BRAND NEW store manager and I don’t thnk she is understanding the coupon policy or – now I’m starting to doubt myself? I’ll call Corporate Publix tomorrow and see if I can get clarification.

The 10/ 50 is the coupon towards the gas card. They should have taken the 5/30.
I guess it depends on where you are and what the tax is. Where I am a total 34.69 with tax would probably have 5.00 worth of tax and you cant get anything off of tax. Also where I live you are taxed on your pre coupon total. ie if your total before coupons was 100.00 you would pay 10.00 in tax.
No tax – this was all food items so no tax. Any who – I did email corporate Publix and let them know how upset I was over this and last weeks 10/50 coupon being refused and they are sending me a $20 gift card to “Make up” for what I was put out for. They never did say what the policy was or wasn’t for the use of the said coupons. They are almost refusing the Winn Dixie 5/30 stating that the total has to be over $30 before they take the coupon, I just said “Where does it say this, it doesn’t say this anywhere! You will take this coupon first and then take all may other coupons.” The 5/30 Winn Dixie is out of the Enjoy the City Books and DOES NOT STATE after all discounts etc. so they have to take it. I think they just don’t like people who use coupons! I don’t clear shelves, I only buy 2 to 4 of each to feed my family of 5. – Really!! I’m done….Sorry to rant. I love couponing! I love this web site!!
Correction: I meant to say in the below statment – refused to take the Winn Dixie 5/30 – Publix wanted to use all my coupons first and if the total was above $30 after my coupons were used they would use the Winn Dixie 5/30 – I pitched a little fit. It doesn’t say that anywhere on the Winn Dixie coupon after all coupons or discounts etc.
My total was 31.78 + 50.00 gas card = 81.78, gave her my $10 off cpn for the gas and then $5.00 off $30.00 & the rest of my mgf cpn my total was after all was 61.78 < I spent 19.53 +tax .51, in groceries + gas after all coupons were taken… Hope this helps, sometimes it depends on your store to.

For future reference: Publix decided to reduce costs and make Holiday shopping easier by making the ad weeks longer for Christmas and Easter.
Easter is easier because it always falls on Sunday. The (Wednesday) Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before Easter will be included in the previous week’s ad(making it a 10 day ad)Publix is closed on Easter. Monday starts a new ad which will continue through the following (Tuesday)Wednesday. (This also is a 10 day ad)
Christmas is a little different and confusing. The same idea is used as Easter but since Christmas falls on a different day each year the ads can be as short as 6 days or as long as 11 days.

I am not seeing this in the thread, but I just went to the Target site and they have Starbucks coupons, including one for $5 off of 2 ground or whole bean coffee! That will pair really well with the sale this week, and other coupons (Target is a competitor for us).
There are actually a number of coupons right now that match up at the Target site with the current ad. I am very happy about that! There is also a $5 coupon off the Starbucks or Tazo K-cups when you buy 2. The Northern coupon seems to have reset for me, I picked up Activia, Red Baron, MnM’s, etc.

The only Tide Boost I could find was $11.99 and I am trying to use the free coupon from the savings are stocking up booklet but the coupon states up to $3.99. Does anyone know if there even is a $3.99 size Tide Boost. Any help is appreciated I have 3 little ones and its hard to go to store to store…
My publix in North Alabama doesn’t even carry the Boost at all- I asked. I usually don’t buy Tide, but had two good q’s, plus the free boost, and a man. q for the Tide boost I was planning to use to get more off of the Tide.
