The Publix Penny item for 4/18 and 4/19 is Publix Creamy Peanut Butter, 18 oz.
The mystery item coupon is valid for one day only –the day your ad begins (either Wednesday or Thursday). The actual coupon can be found in the newspaper on your penny item day! Florida does not participate in the penny item promotion. Leave a comment below if your store offers a different item!

it stinks that FL doesn’t allow these promotions. totally unfair!!!
Really wish they didn’t require the coupon. Do you guys really buy the paper just for the coupon?
No – We have 7 days a week delivery – it costs $14.00/month. (The Sunday paper itself would cost $7.00). Both my husband and I read the paper daily – so for us I guess you could call it a hobby. But the subscription pays for itself with Sunday Coupons, the penny item & sometimes really good coupons for local restraunts in the Wed & Friday edition. And the percent off coupons for local department stores in their flyers. We’ve been subscribing way before we had a Publix.
On Thursday evenings I go to a particular Publix that does not require the coupon. They do require that you spend $10 though to get the penny item. This Thurs I will be spending $25 to get the gas card and the penny item
I get the Sunday paper and the Thursday paper only — and Thursday is just for the Publix coupon! It was nominal to add in Thursday — and so worth it for the penny item.
