Publix Ad and Coupons Week of 4/26 to 5/2 (4/25 to 5/1 for some)
Here is the sneak peek of the Publix weekly ad and coupons that runs 4/26 through 5/2 (4/25 to 5/1 for some). Let me know if you find additional coupons and I will get them added.

Remember this is the metro Atlanta version of the ad. Be sure to check your ad for any variations. It looks like a pretty good week with some BOGO sales we haven’t seen in a while. I am not sure I have ever seen BOGO flowers before! I may have to treat myself!!

When you see the checkmark stockpile button13 Publix Ad and Coupons Week of 4/26 to 5/2 (4/25 to 5/1 for some) – those items are either a great price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling, so if your store doesn’t double it may not be a stock up price for you.

Make sure you click “Read More” to see the whole ad!

$1/2 mfr coupon for Kleenex tissues found in small ‘booklet’ on Viva paper towels and other paper products about two weeks ago. Makes for cheap tissues.

  6. Jennifer says:

There was a Publix coupon for $1/1 Nutella at the entrance to my store the other week. It expires 4/29, but it was on a single page flyer with a manufacturer coupon for Pepperidge Farm bread I think.

  7. Melinda says:

I didn’t see the south beach diet coupon.

  8. L says:

Does anyone have the publix booklets? I could swap.

  14. Wish upon a star says:

Why can’t they just make yakisoba bogo?

  15. Marie says:

A little off topic, has anyone in the Tallahassee, FL area experienced the Democrat Newspaper prices going up to $3.00 a paper. I guess now I will have to buy the coupons I need off a website.

    • Melissa says:

I haven’t seen them that high but I never got half the coupons that others usually got anyway so I just buy them from Coupons by Dede now :)

    • Brandon says:

I know! I got off of work, had my $1.50 change to get a paper and got a little ticked off that they raised their prices so much.

At that price, I’m not sure if Dollar Tree will still carry them, in which case we can’t price match them at Walmart.

I’m just going to Ebay myself.

    • Orlando newspapers are up to $2, so I am also looking for an alternative. I still buy 2 papers, but I used to get as many as 6.

      • Kasey A says:

Instead of buying papers I use coupon clipper sites no need to fuss with the coupon clipping and the sites coupons are super cheap!

Try Thecouponmaster.com if your interested they always have coupons available I just bought 12 -3/1 Bic flex coupons for $3.00!

      • Ashley says:

http://www.insertinsanity.com is a good insert service. Very good prices and their prices never fluctuate, some inserts services will charge more when there are more inserts.

      • Maddy says:

Atlanta’s paper is $2.50 each. Ridiculous.

      • They are putting themselves out of business on the fast track, so it’ll be 5 more years instead of 10 until most printed newspapers are gone. Paper costs a fortune, labor, fuel for delivery and operation of plants. People aren’t going to be willing to pay $5 for a weekend paper just because it’s nice having a paper outside the door.

    • Misty says:

Marie, Im from Thomasville,Ga & I’ve been told aswell That the Tallahassee Democrat is going to be $3.00, Not very happy about that!!!

    • Gayle says:

You can subscribe to Sunday’s paper for $6.00 a month, that’s not bad, in Tallahassee.

    • Ashley says:

http://www.insertinsanity.com is a good insert service as well.

    • Lisa says:

Does you local dollar tree sell the papers by any chance? Our papers here in Bama are $2, but I buy them at the dollar tree for a $1. By the way I moved here about 6yrs ago from Tallahassee! It has gone through alot of changes since we moved! We used to live up in Killearn Acres.

    • Lo says:

Yes, they went up this past Sunday and the daily paper is now $1.

    • 2HappyKids says:

Yes, the Sunday Democrat is now $3, instead of $2.25. :/ We usually don’t get the higher value coupons other regions all seem to get!

  16. Katie says:

I have $3 BIC coupons if anyone wants to trade for the $2 Purina coupons on the Publix Paws site katiecahalan@gmail.com
    http://www.coupons.com/couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=16201&nid=10&zid=ni96

  17. Jenn says:

Hi Michelle, are you sure the Florida’s Natural OJ at 2/$6 isn’t 59 oz. instead of 29 oz.? Thanks!

  18. Amanda says:

Very excited about the SPLENDA! I ordered 10 coupons for $2 off from a coupon clipping service! I have one bag of SPLENDA left from the last time it went on sale.

  19. DanielleDD says:

Wow!!! What a bad BOGO sale week!!!

  20. kiran says:

question….splenda is BOGO or is it $4.99 per bag???

  21. Danette says:

    Hi,
I can’t find the 2/$3 for Stonyfield. Their website only shows me .50 off the products? Is there another site?

  22. Contessa says:

I am kinda glad to see that there is very little on this week’s ad that I really want. I have stocked up on things a lot this past month and I could use a week off from shopping.

Not to mention that I have had several less-than-pleasant experiences at the Chastain Publix (Atlanta)recently. When I was in about a week ago, they were really scrutinizing each coupon. I had 4 bags of Meow Mix, which was on BOGO. I also had 4 coupons from the newspaper. The coupons said “one coupon per product” but the cashier would only let me use one coupon. I said that I had always been able to use multiple coupons before, unless of course they said “one per transaction”. I asked we could ask the manager? Another cashier (a “supervisor”) stepped over and said no, the first cashier was correct. So, I said I would put two bags back. Then I had ThermaCare coupons: Four ThermaCare products, four $3 Publix coupons from the Green Flyer, two $3/1 printed coupons and two $2/1 peelies. Again, they said I could only use one coupon. I said well I have always before been able to use multiples of at least the Publix coupons. The supervisor said they couldn’t do that. Then she held up my $3 printed coupons from the ThermaCare site and said “we cannot take these anyway, they are fake – you made zerox copies”. I said no, of course I didn’t, I printed them out. Again, I said I would put two items back. On and on it went, they would not let me stack coupons and they would not let me use multiples. I wished I had asked again for a manager, but at this point I was so embarrassed – especially after she called out to the people behind me “ok folks, you might want to go find a different line to checkout, I have a person here with coupons” and she gave a rather nasty tone to the word “coupon”.

When I got home and checked my receipt, I saw that she had not only backed out the items I had put back, but she backed out all the Publix coupons and several other coupons as well. AND I realized that not only did she not give me my coupons back, she did NOT give me my free eggs (it was free eggs with purchase of something, I forget now just what)… and she forgot to give me my Senior discount. I do a spreadsheet before I shop, so I know exactly how many coupons I have, and for what and how much. So, I was out my coupon discounts AND my coupons, and the store will still get reimbursed for those coupons!

I could have taken the spreadsheet and my receipt back in and tried to get my money back but I decided that could be a big hassle and to let it go. I was pretty mad, but I decided that this was a very bad random encounter and I would give Publix another chance. I went back with a friend a few days later and it was a complete mirror of the first shopping trip. No stacking, no multiple coupons and extreme scrutiny of every single coupon, plus the bad attitude of the cashier (a different one).

I am wondering if they have had some bad or extreme couponers in there or what, and so things have really changed that much?? I suppose I need to go in and ask the store manager (politely, of course!) if there are new policies in place. Either that or, as much as I like Publix, I need to start shopping elsewhere.

    • Amy says:

You might try writing a letter to corporate describing your experience. My Publix has a clearly written coupon policy — so when any questions arise, it sometimes help to pull out a copy of the policy to show the cashier. (it may not have helped with the multiple q’s issue, but could have helped with the stacking of a store and manufacturer coupon issue).

      • Bernie says:

I found that if you post what you wrote here, on Publix’s Facebook page, you will get an immediate response. I promise you. I did, a few times, and not only did I get my issue resolved, I received both a written and verbal apology.

    • Deborah says:

Contessa, sorry for your bad moment… I never done this but if I was in your shoes I would call corporate. No one who is abiding by the rules should be treated like a thief, we are just using their own rules and policy that they put out for us.

    • Jen says:

Hi – I’m in your area. Try the Publix in Kennesaw at the corner of Baker and Jiles (off Wade Green Road). It’s just one exit away from Chastain Road and they are so wonderful.

    • Ashley says:

I would DEFINITELY call corporate. I work for Publix and this type of behavior is NEVER tolerated. You were completely in the right, and whoever this cashier was needs to know that they way she treated you was completely out of line. I am so sorry for your terrible experience!! If I was in your area, I would have done everything I could to make it right! You can use the website “https://www.publix.com/contact/SendUsAMessage.do” or you can call 1-800-242-1227. Hope everything gets solved for you!

      • Contessa says:

Thanks everyone for all of the kind replies. I will send corporate an email and see what happens.

Thanks for the tip Jen, but the Chastain store I go to is in Buckhead, on Roswell Road. Kennesaw is about an hour north of me :)

        • Bernie says:

You will get a much faster response and resolution on Facebook because, number one you are putting your complaint on their Facebook page. I went the email route once and it took a few days but on Facebook, try a few minutes!

          • Kenzie says:

When you email corporate, they send the email to the EXACT store that you are referring to so that the actual STORE MANAGER will contact you. When you write on facebook a random publix corporate employee responds. Its one thing to get a response back fast and another thing to actually talk to the store manager so that it is resolved at the store level! As a Publix employee and spouse of a store manager I would recommend emailing corporate so that the issue will be heard and taken care of by the store manager!

          • Oldtimer says:

Why not do BOTH a posting on Publix’s Facebook page AND an e-mail to corporate concurrently?

The posting on Publix’s Facebook page will get their immediate attention and a response, and the e-mail to corporate will get you a response from the EXACT store manager.

For further emphasis, I would note in the posting on Publix’s Facebook page that a concurrent e-mail has been sent to corporate.

    • Ellen says:

I would make a copy of just what you have written here and take it into the store manager as well as email corporate office with a complaint about that cashier. You have her name on the receipt. Also if you can remember her name, I would include the “supervisor cashier” in with the complaint. You need to follow up on this. Good luck.

    • Cindy says:

I also had a bad experience last week and wrote corporate an email with what had happend and what a change since a new manager took over my local Publix. Never had I had a problem at Publix and I always had all my coupons ready and made sure everythig was lined up correctly. Publix Corporate sent me a very nice letter and a gift card with compensation of what I thought I lost in coupons for that week and what was not honored by the store or their own coupon policy. They do stand by their customers, so do let them know what is going on. I even showed the store manager the Publix store coupon policy and she would not budge – corporate did compensate me for what I felt I was denied by the store manager for that week. Hey – I’m on a budget just like everyone else, this manager blew my budget by not accepting my coupons – bottom line – coupons are money to me! They did make it right, so I do respect them!

    • claudia says:

      what senior discount?

      • Jennifer says:

In Tennessee, senior discount day is Wednesday. Just ask your customer service next time you are there. I like to take my dad with me on Wednesday and use his discount and get the penny item :)

    • Karen says:

I think that the “extreme couponer’s” have definatley changed the game, especially up there where you all have double coupons. ( In Florida, they don’t double) That said, this is unacceptable, and not what Publix stands for. I agree with the rest of the ladies, a call to corporate is in order here.

  23. Amanda says:

Is the 2/6 Dove Hair Care only hair products like hairspray and gel or does it also include shampoo and conditioner?

    • Sarah says:

I was under the impression that it was stylers and shampoos/conditioners. If so, then you can get one of each for free with the Target coupon and 3 of the $2/1.

  24. Michelle says:

There’s a $2/1 Johnson’s Naturals product coupon on Recyclebank for 60 points. Stacked with in-ad coupon makes for $3 savings on a product that rarely goes on sale.

    • Michelle says:

Or if you’re able to get the Hello Baby coupon booklet, there’s a $1.50/1 PQ for a total of $3.50 savings.

  25. tammi says:

Went over to Ingles for the first time today just to check it out and we have it great at Publix when it comes to their coupon policy! They only double a few of your coupons for every $10 you spend.

  26. RN1 says:

If anyone has the Oberto Beef Jerky coupons that you won’t be using, my boys love this stuff and I sure could use the coupons. My paper didn’t get them.

    • Abi R. says:

They have an instant win game on the Oberto facebook page – I played today and won a $1 coupon – it was Bricks so I could print twice. Play every day (on all family members fb pages) and maybe you’ll score some too! :) Good luck!

  27. Ivet says:

Anybody need or want to exchange coupons? I have exactly 12- $1/2 2lit pepsi next, 20-$50/1 purina friskies cat treats, 8- $1/2 any purina beggin dog snacks, 6- $1/1 purina busy brand chew treats, 20- $1/2 purina beggin dog snack 6 oz or smaller exp 5/26.
If anybody has any $3/1 bic razors for any of what i have that would be awesome too. Since the bic razors is a high value, you would get majority of mine.

  28. Angie says:

Struggling to find the Slim-Fast $1/1 IP?? Please help! Thanks!!

  29. bridgette says:

I’m curious where the publix birds eye coupons came from? maybe be some decent deals with the $.35/1 and $.50/2 coupon with the 50% store sale…somebody HELP please!!

    • Mel says:

The .35 Publix sheet was over by the Aprons station, but it was a Manu coupon only valid at Publix not an actual Publix Q :-( However, there is a .50/1 available on the birdseye website, and a $1/2 on their facebook (you have to make a veggie plate), which is a little better than the .35 inserts listed.

    • JeffVL says:

Serenity… but actually could be security for some. Anyway, appreciate the post… way better than the $1 off coupons I had.

  30. Thelma says:

Can someone tell me which stores in Georgia weekly ads start on Wednesday

  31. Jen says:

There is a Facebook coupon for the Whiskas Temptations Treats BOGO – $0.50/1 = MM if your store doubles.
Just an FYI, though – The Whiskas Temptations coupon prints AFTER a full page ad. It also cut off the bottom part of the coupon on my printer, so be advised.

  32. Lisa says:

Has anyone been having problems with the unilever: Making life better website? Everytime I try to print the redplum cpns from there, it won’t let me saying “error, try again later”. I emailed them the other day and havent heard back from them, so today when it still didn’t work, I called and they are gonna send me whatever cpns they can, so I still might not get the ones I need, and especially not on time I guess for the upcoming sale. And she said she will let the department that deals with the website know there is a problem.

  33. Jan says:

FYI…I found a coupon for Pepperidge Farms Swirl bread that is BOGO in the upcoming ad….$1/2 , 3/25 SS (exp 6/17/2012 :)

  34. Quen says:

I found a printable for FREE Taco shells, any brand up to $1.50, WYB 1 Ragu Pasta and 1 Ragu Pasta Sauce product.

How can I get a hold of the Kroger Mailer coupons?

  36. Candace says:

I bought some boxes of Whole Fruit Bars awhile back and on the inside of the box is a coupon for the Whole Fruit Sorbet it is for $0.50/1.

  37. jessica says:

For the newspaper prices, I found it much, much cheaper to have them delivered vs. buying at a store. I was paying $2 each for the Gainesville Sun, I signed up for delivery and it came to .60 per paper, and I have two delivered every Sunday!

  38. brandi says:

i cannot find the -$1/2 boxes of Quaker Cereal 12-28 oz (any flavor/variety) coupon on this website… any other issues or am i blind? =)
