Frugal Family Fun For Less – St. Patrick’s Day Fun
March 15, 2012
Holidays mean fun at my house! With St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, I am already making plans for what we will be doing. I will likely make green muffins or biscuits for breakfast and I have a feeling a sneaky leprechaun will turn the boys milk green on Saturday.
I have to take advantage of their willingness to be silly while I can.
Tracy over at Having Fun Saving has come up with a couple of cute ideas for her Frugal Family Fun for Less post. Check out her super cute craft idea and recipe for shamrock cookies.

We’ll probably make green eggs and pancakes and green smoothies or milkshakes.
I am going to use a footprint stamp and dip it in washable paint and stamp leprechuan footprints all over the kitchen counters and floor to make it look like a mischevious leprechaun came in while we were sleeping.
I also bouaght a box of lucky charms (they are bogo this week!)and I am going to scatter some around like the leprechaun came to find his “lucky charms”. The kids are going to eat lucky charms for breakfast with green milk too.
There is a really yummy looking recipe that I am going to make for dinner as well. It is called “stuffed cabbage casserole” and it actually pretty low fat and low cal. I found it here:

Happy St Patty’s to you all!
