Prep time: 20 Min
Start to Finish: 20 Min
Makes: 5 servings (2 tacos each)
Ingredients:
Fish
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup Progresso® Lemon Pepper Panko Crispy Bread Crumbs
- 1 lb white fish fillets (such as tilapia or catfish)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Tacos
- 10 Old El Paso® Flour Tortillas for soft tacos & fajitas (6 inch; from 8.2-oz package)
- 1 medium avocado, pitted, peeled, and chopped
- 1 medium tomato, seeded, diced
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 small jalapeño chile, seeded, finely chopped if desired
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 small lemon, cut into wedges
Directions:
- In shallow dish, place flour. In another shallow dish, beat egg and water. In another shallow dish, place bread crumbs. Coat fish with flour. Dip into egg mixture; coat well with bread crumbs.
- In 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add fish; cook 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, until fish flakes easily with fork. Cut into 30 bite-size pieces.
- Meanwhile, heat tortillas as directed on package. In medium bowl, mix avocado, tomato and lemon juice. Stir in cilantro and jalapeño chile.
- Fill tortillas with fish, avocado mixture and lettuce. Serve with lemon wedges.
- Oven Method Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13×9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Follow step 1 above. Place fish in baking dish; drizzle with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Continue as directed in recipe.

I will make some Taco Pasta using one of the Old El Paso Taco Kits! I generally just use about 12 oz of whatever pasta we have on hand, cook the ground beef then add the taco seasoning packet to it. Then I mix the beef with the pasta, add the taco sauce and about 8 oz of shredded cheddar or mexican cheese then bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes! It’s easy and quick and my family loves it!

I like to use the Panko Bread Crumbs for homemade chicken strips, and we always love tacos at our house.
Reciece daily emails
I use a couple of cans of Swansons chunk white chicken a quarter cup of Hellmanns Mayo and two cans of campbells cream of chicken condensed soup put it all in a skillet and heat until i is bubbling hot. Meantime cook a couple of cups of Barilla pasta, drain and pour chicken mixture over the pasta in a casserole dish. I add some shredded cheese on top and put in the oven for 20 minutes. Voilla supper is ready.

I know if I fix these three things-everyone in my family will eat-even the picky eaters!! Tacos, spaghetti, and mac and cheese with a breadcrumb topping!
My family loves when I make the Parmesan Crusted Chicken but subsitute Greek yogurt for the mayo.
Grilled sausage and pepper pizza looks good. I might sub out the sausuge for chicken for the kids.1

I saw a picture of a taco salad on the website – Now I am craving one – so I think I will make my favorite version of taco salad – using taco seasoned ground beef, lettuce, tomato, olives, shredded cheese, crushed flour tortilla chips and thousand island dressing.

I plan to make black bean tacos with the Old El Paso tacos this weekend! We use dry black beans and add lots of veggies so they are so filling and good for you
We love creamy chicken enchiladas swimming with a yummy green chili sauce. Black beans on the side round out the meal.
We love making dishes with the campbell’s condensed soups! Bought 4 cream of chicken yesterday! I think we’re going to use this in a creamy mexican crock pot dish this week!

Wonton soup, with swanson broth and wonton made out of gold medal fluor. Or If I’m really lazy, just an egg drop soup, the ingredients are broth, eggs and canned corn.

Here is a Very Yummy Casserole
2c. cooked Chicken breast
1c. chopped Celery
1c. cooked rice
1 can Campbells cream of chicken soup
3/c Mayo
1c sliced water chestnuts
1/4c chopped onion
1/2c. sliced almonds
1/c shredded Cheddar Cheese
Salt & Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients except cheese
Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes The last 10 minutes sprinkle cheese
That it We love love this and it is so easy!!!
opps that is 3/4 cup of mayo

We love to make homemade meatballs at home! The other night we used a mixture of ground beef and ground pork. To that add one egg mixed with freshly grated parm and a dash of worsteshire sauce. To that add 1 cup of Progresso Itilian Panko Breadcrumbs. Mix well, brown the meatballs then bake with your favorite sauce on top until cooked, usually 1/2 hour to an hour, depending how long you browned them first. These were seriously the best batch I had ever made and it’s because of the breadcrumbs with panko!
I could really use that Publix gift card to get some of the awesome deals Publix has right now;)

I make pasta with meat sauce and I use the Bertolli and Prego sauces for it; I like to mix those two brands together along with some browned ground beef and veggies. Quick and easy!
