Weekly Totals 2/10 – Time To Party

February 10, 2012

mario cake Weekly Totals 2/10 Time To PartyHere we are celebrating yet another Friday. This has been another crazy and VERY hectic week. I honestly feel like I have been in constant motion from the moment I wake up until I pass out at night. My oldest son turned 6 on Tuesday and we are celebrating with a big party tomorrow. Check out that fantastic cake that Publix made for Jake’s Mario themed party–he is so excited!!

I have never had a party at my house and now I know why! It is so stressful to get things ready for a party. My spare time is few and far between on any typical day–but this week has been quite a doozy. I will be honest and tell you that I am about to drown–tee hee! Along with the birthday festivities, we started baseball this week. (I volunteered to be team mom – yes, I think I’ve officially lost my mind).  I also just found out my youngest son finally got a spot for hippotherapy!  So, between baseball, speech therapy, hippotherapy, carpool, cooking, cleaning, taxes, paying bills, laundry, homework and blogging… I never really got myself together to actually shop for groceries this week! Anyone want to throw me a life preserver? icon biggrin Weekly Totals 2/10 Time To Party

I did buy a few things besides the party supplies but I think I will add them to next week’s totals. I need to determine was is being pulled from the “entertainment” budget and what is coming from the “grocery” budget.

I just popped dinner in the oven so while the boys are playing I am going to take this time to relax. How about you guys share your weekly totals with me. Feel free to leave a comment or link to your big savings!

Hippotherapy is a physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy treatment strategy that utilizes equine movement. Derived from the word hippos which means horse in Greek. I didn’t know what it was either, but Google is my friend!

I often just glance at this segment of I Heart Publix with interest and admiration, but I’ve never thought to ask this question. Do the totals posted reflect just actual clipped coupon savings or savings from store sales and gift cards as well ?

my son is in feeding, speech and occupational therapy. He is two and doesn’t talk much or eat normal table food. He only eats beech nut second foods! He had reflux with aspiration until he was a year so hes afraid to eat textured food. He wasn’t able to hear until he was 8 months do that set him back for speech.
