Weekend Fun – Oscars & New Publix Glade Coupons Effective

The Oscars are tomorrow night! How many of you guys will be tuning it with me?
Since most of my days are spent in wearing t-shirts and a ponytail. The Oscars are my little escape – I love to look at the beautiful gowns and hairstyles. Of course I will probably never get a chance to walk the red carpet…but – a girl can dream 
I plan to take over my husband’s media room for all the pre-Oscar fun. You guys can join me in checking out the E! Room for pre-Oscars happenings on the E! Network. The E! Countdown show to the Oscars will be on Sunday, 2/26 a few hours before the actual Oscars begin. We will be able to get the scoop on our favorite celebs and get tips to use in our own homes too! I know I can’t be the only one who will be watching. What are you guys looking forward to? Do you watch for the spectacle or are you more interested in seeing who wins?
Yeah, but the new glade products will still be more than I am willing to pay for them, especially to try them! Plus they still didn’t have some of them on the shelves in my Publix. I went in yesterday to see the prices and see if they even carried them, they do, but they didn’t have any in yesterday, and they were like $4.49-$8.49. And they are the same price at my Target store also.
I picked up a couple of the fragrance mists today. Shelf price read $3.49, but they rang up $4.49, so I got 1 free and the CS manager still let me use the 2 $1 PQs and 2 $1 MQs, so I got both for free and made $.51 cents on the deal!
As far as the Oscars, I am SO happy that Billy Crystal is back as host, that George Clooney is likely to win Best Actor, and that Oscar history may be made by having 2 African American females win Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for the same film.
Should be an exciting night!

I love the red carpet best. Seeing who wins is secondary. I do like Billy Crystal as the host, though, so will probably watch the whole show.

I love seeing the gowns and hairstyles. I don’t care as much who wins, I just like the glamour of it all. Especially because I would faceplant in high heels for sure.
My parents live in FL and went to the Daytona 500 today, but I don’t know how much fun they are having yet! lol Hopefully they found a place to get out of the rain!
I’ll be watching the Oscars tonight with my popcorn. Wouldn’t miss it! 
(hubby will be watching the race though)
