“Snack”urday – Beignets

Amanda has our “Snack”urday post ready. This week she is celebrating Mardi Gras and offering up her recipe for Beignets.
Oh I have not had a warm beignets in probably 5 years. I would love for someone to come over and make these for me today…any volunteers?

Oh, yum! I’m inspired. My husband just had surgery and we’ve been stuck in the house for days-I think I’ll make these to lift our spirits! Thanks for the easy, yummy recipes:)
I have such fond memories of pigging out on beignets and coffee at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. I tried to make them myself many years ago, and I ended up in the emergency room after accidentally dipping two of my fingers into the hot oil.
Nothing – absolutely nothing – has been fried in my house since.

Here I thought you were going to volunteer to come & make them for me…
