We have another fun little deal going on with the Running Out? Run In promotion at Publix. Lots of folks have sent me their rebate scenarios and I really think they are so helpful. SO….bring them on! Share your deal ideas that you have done (or are planning) to do to get the Publix gift card.

What $26 Publix coupons did you use? Cheerios coupons? I am looking at the Publix coupons for Cheerios and one says $2 off 16.2-21.6 oz Cheerios, the other says $1 off 8.9-9 oz Cheerios. Aren’t the $2.50 Cheerios 11.3-14 oz? Is there another Cheerios coupon available in one of the many books that never come to the store where I shop?

Haven’t quite come up with a list of items to purchase, but having to buy $30 in groceries qualifies you to also buy the gas card and take the $10 off your groceries. So, spend $30 – save $10 (gas card) – $5 rebate = $15 saved plus any coupon deals you work out.
So many deals lately I cant keep up! I think I’m losing my game.. ha! Lovin it!

Ok, so I’m gonna buy 4 Pampers = 35.96, use 2 $10 manu coupons, 2 Winn Dixie Baby Club coupons, 2 $2 Run out Run in coupons = $5.96. Send off for $5 gc = .96 total! Hopefully I’ll get a $5/30 coupon somehow before then for a sweeter deal
I have already mailed my receipt off to get the rebate… but I got 4 Cheerios, 10 Yoplait yogurts, 5 Pillsbury sweet rolls, 6 Pillsbury crescent rolls, and 4 Pillsbury biscuits. Total before coupons was $31… total after coupons was $14-$15… so after I receive the $5 giftcard… I got all of that for around $9 pretax.

I’m pretty sure the $2 PQ won’t work with the sizes that are on sale 2/$5.
The $2 off Cheerios I have specifies 16.2-21.6oz. It’s a publix coupon (Best meals at home). The Cheerios on sale for $2.50/each are the 11.3-14oz box. The $2 off coupon does not match & shouldn’t be used.
Apparently size doesn’t matter Amy. I keep reading posts everywhere about people using the coupon you are referring to or the $1 Publix printable, but it states 8.9-9oz. So neither are matches. I hate that so many people use them and think it is OK. I wish the cashiers would actually call people on this stuff because in the long run, misuse is hurting all of us.

Are the Running Out, Run In booklets still available? I went in today to grab one but all I could find was the display with single coupons. I was trying to get two of the Pampers diapers coupons, but the display only had a coupon for wipes.

I bought 3 bags of iams dog food and one yoplait yogurt for 60 cents to take the total over $30.00.
It was $29.97 for the dog food and $30.57 with the yogurt. I used the mfg and the publix coupons to pay only $15.00 for the dog food. With the $5 rebate that is about $10 for 3 bags of good dog food. To save money I mix it with the crummy dog food that we get cheap a lot such as kibbbles and bits and Pedigree. This eases my guilt when I can mix in the Iams. LOL
But did you get a gas card with that, too?

Yes, I did it today! Although the gas card wasn’t ringing up (they said it was a Publix-wide problem) and I had to get a rain check.
I haven’t done the offer for the $30 yet, but I plan to do it next time – along with both another gas card and another Amex. I’m going to buy one Gain (I have a $1.00 coupon), and several Charmins with the coupons I have. Perhaps a box or two of Cheerios also, but I don’t see anything else I need from the list.
Well, I used to be one to just go for the free or money making deals, but I now try to save on things I really use. For this deal, I bought 3 Pampers and 2 Betty Crocker cookie mixes. I also bought 4 Whiskas cat treats, 6 Resolve, 1 can of dog food, 3 Sambazon, 4 Rice A Roni, Brawny paper towels Red Gold tomatoes, the penny item 2 liter, and 2 $50 gas cards. My total before tax was 100.58 and I paid $103.49. I used a $10 Register Reward, a bunch of manfacturer & store coupons, and forgot my $1 off 2 BC cookie coupons. I am totally in love with the gas card deals since I’ve been using them to pay for diapers and groceries lately.

The Publix coupon isn’t a match on the Cheerios that are on sale this week.
is the full price of the cheerios applied towards to the 30$ total? or is it the sale price that is applied towards the total? I didn’t see a number to call on the rebate form. Because the sale price is 2.5 but the original price is 4.05. So which is it that goes towards the 30 dollar total?
