Publix Weekly Ad and Coupons Week of 2/9 to 2/15

Here is the sneak peek of the Publix ad that begins 2/9 and runs through 2/15 (2/8 to 2/14 for some). Let me know if you find additional coupons and I will get them added.
This week begins the Running Out? Run In promotion. Be on the lookout for the booklet I posted as well as a display in the store. We will also be able to get a $5 Publix gift card by mail with the purchase of $30 worth of participating items.
Also, I bet many folks will very happy to see the AMEX coupon and the Gas coupon this week!!
Remember this is the metro Atlanta version of the ad. Be sure to check your ad for any variations.When you see the checkmark 
– those items are either a great price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling, so if your store doesn’t double it may not be a stock up price for you.

Do you get to select whichever gas card you would like to buy, for example Shell, BP, etc? Or does it list a certain station’s gift card?
You can choose whichever one they have that is $50. I’ve seen Shell, BP, and Hess at my store.
I read in the paper here in Central FL that Hess was pulling out, but Publix were in talks with some other gas companies about joining in with the gift card deals. I only recently started paying attention to these gas card deals and now I buy as many as I can when they come around. We go through $350+ in gas every month…and that is with fuel efficient cars! It really makes a difference.

I was asking the SM the other day if they would ever add Mobil to the gift cards and he said that Hess decided not to participate any more so they will probably be added other companies. I always get the Shell gas card because it just adds to my savings after I use it with my fuelperks from WD.

There is a flyer called: “Lysol Mission For Health” which can be found in a pediatric clinic. It has several Lysol coupons including, $1 off any Lysol All Purpose Cleaner. Got about 20 of these.
So .23 cents each is great for me. STOCK UP TIME!!

So happy for begging strips on sale again. I tried to give my dog a real piece of bacon the other day that had fallen on the floor. He literally cried and whimpered over it. Refused to eat it and cried til I gave him a begging strip. Go figure.

I like to stock up when Barbers Foods and Yoplait yogurt go on sale but … there are no coupons to make it worth it! A sale price is not good if you cant match it with a coupon … I will try to come up with something to get at least one gas card deal but it is going to be hard … oh well there is always hope for next Monday I guess.
I was wondering if anyone had heard about Publix changing their coupon policy. I was at the Bardmoor Publix in Largo, FL yesterday and tried to do the $10/$100 deal plus I had a $5.00/$50 from Albertson’s and a $5.00/$50 from Publix. The cashier stated that in order for me to use all three I had to spend pre-coupons $200.00. I asked her when that had changed and if it was all Publix and she called over the Customer Service Manager who stated it had changed company wide a couple of days ago.
that doesn’t sounds right to me. because you had to spend $100 for the free $10 giftcard…that is not a “money-off” coupon. i did this same type of deal yesterday, but i spent over $200 before coupons, so the cashier gave me a $20 giftcard for free, then i also used a $10/$50 sweetbay and a $5/$30 publix, then the rest of my coupons, and ended up spending only $123 and got the $20 giftcard!
and by the way, the cashier was not certain if the giftcard deal was before or after coupons, she said the manager never gave them a clear answer, so she did it before all other coupons…
I haven’t heard of any policy changes, but my Publix (who is pretty generous with their policy) would have never allowed all three of those coupons to be use in the same transaction. They would have allowed one publix and one competitor coupon, but not the two Publix coupons.

I work at Publix in the office, and there has been no such thing. However, it may be their district manager, because we asked ours if the $10 free g/c coupon could be used with other coupons, and he said that since the g/c promotion is not a “dollars off” coupon, it does not have the same restrictions that the “$5 off $50″ etc. coupons have.
Here is a copy of the Publix coupon policy pulled right off their website. I’m assuming the $10/$100 is for the gift card not $10 off that order. If so, then you should have been able to use both $5 off (according to their policy) and then get the gift card for spending $100. If the $10/$100 was an additional coupon for money off, then no…you would not be able to use all three. Many times the cashiers don’t understand what they are dealing with and are quick to assume what they are working with. I sometimes have to walk them through it myself.
Q: What is the Publix coupon policy?
A: Publix accepts manufacturers’ coupons (limit one per item), Publix coupons (originals only—no copies), valid Internet coupons, and coupons from nearby competitors identified by each Publix store. (Competitor names are posted at each Publix store.) We will accept coupons from competing pharmacies for prescriptions only. We will not accept percent-off-items or percent-off-total-order coupons. We will only accept coupons for identical merchandise we sell. Acceptance is subject to any restrictions on the coupon, and we reserve the right to limit quantities. Manager approval is needed for individual coupons above $5.00. For a buy-one-get-one free (BOGO) offer, each item is considered a separate sale. We will accept a manufacturer’s coupon and either a Publix or a competitor coupon on the same item. Dollars-off-total-order coupons will be limited to one Publix and one competitor coupon per order. The order total must be equal to or greater than the total purchase requirements indicated on the coupon(s) presented.
I spent $108 and was able to use three $5 off $30 Winn Dixie coupons and get the $10 gift card.
Total spent $71.11, Total saved $98.77.
And I live in the land of “no doubling” coupons.
My store was OK with it – I purchased $107.00 of sale items, before coupons ($173.00 Retail Value) and was allowed to use (1) $5.00/$25.00 Sav-a-lot, (2) $5.00/$30.00 Winn Dixie, and I received the $10.00/$100.00 promotional Gift Card. I asked on my way in the store and Customer Service didn’t hesitate to say yes, as long as I purchased the combined total of the $$ Off Coupons. I used Target Coupons and MFG Coupons to lower my OOP below $28.00!!
Last week I spent over $50 @ Publix, and tried to use $5/$50 from Albertson’s
and $5/$25 from Save a Lot. The cashier allowed me to use only $5/$50 stating that policy changed last spring regarding competitor coupons.
Makes me wonder too if it was an isolated incident, or becomes a standard @ Publix?
See one of the previous posts, it lists the publix policy,you can only use 1 competitor $/$$ per transaction, but they sometimes let it be one if you spend the combined total. If you had spent 75.00 pre coupon they may have allowed it
Well you can’t use 2 competitor coupons for $ off total in one purchase. You can use 1 publix and competitor. That is why you were unable to use the save a lot and the albertson’s in the same order.
In this case you were trying to use 2 competitor coupons for dollars off on the same transaction. As per policy, Publix allows 1 competitor and 1 store coupon for dollars off, as long as the total of your purchase equals or exceeds the minimum required to buy to get the benefit.

I shop at the seminole and ulmerton, not too far from there. Back when we had the $10 GC /$50, I had to spend a total of $80 before coupon if I used a $5/$30 competitor coupon with that coupon in the same transaction. I remember shopping at a store in Pinellas park and it was the same way, so it must be the district or something and now bardmoor is catching up to it.

My husband and 17 year old daughter both love the double chocolate Krave cereal.
I’m not a chocolate fan, but the regular Krave (not double chocolate) is good. It almost melts in your mouth.

I have a similar question. I have both the BOGO Q and the $1.00/2 Q. It seems to me that if you buy (4) the BOGO Q will attach to (2) items and the $1.00/2 Q will attach to the other (2) items. That makes them (4) for $0.79. But I don’t think you can do (2) with an overage. The BOBO Q and $1.00/1 Q would require (3) items to use both coupons. Once you buy the third, the fourth is free. Seems like (4) is the magic number!
I don’t know, I’m confused. I thought I had read before that the BOGO coupon covers 1 free item, leaving the other item to still use a coupon on. Does anyone know for sure?
According to corp, the BOGO coupon attached to BOTH items, but, not all stores know this or care.
You actually spoke to Publix corporate office? That verbage is not in their coupon policy. I’m going to give it a shot, if they say no, oh well I’ll still be getting free treats, but overage would be nice!
Most stores will say that the BOGO coupon will attach to the free item and that you can use a $ off amount on the item you are paying for. In true BOGO, I would buy 2 and both will be free after the BOGO coupon. If you have a $ off 1, it would make overage. If you have a $1/2 coupon, then you would need to buy 4 and use 2 BOGO coupons and 1 $1/2 coupon. I hope this makes sense.
I think this will vary store by store. My store doesn’t allow it, but you might want to check with your customer service desk.
My cashier flat out refused to use both a bogo and $ off coupon on two items…said that the bogo attached to both items, not one? Manager backed her up.
You may have better luck though.
ive never had issues using a b1g1 q and a $ off for the one im paying for, but i guess there is the first time for everything. last week i had a b1g1 for sambazon and $2 off i wanted to use for the one i had to pay. i had already done that many times before, and my cashier told me i had to buy 3 because i couldnt use 2 man q’s for the same products

There is the Target Q for Starbucks coffee $1 off one from the Super Strong coupons mailer. I am also lucky enough to have a $1.50 off one catalina coupon from Target, so this is a great deal for me! Does anyone know if the gas card deal will be regional again? I am in Alabama and no gas card deals have been here in many months. I am debating whether or not I should wait and do $100 for the 2 gas cards or for the $10 Publix card.
I am in Alabama as well and was a bit bummed about not getting the gas card either.
I posted this below too – but gas discounts are illegal in Alabama. That is why Kroger cannot offer their discount program here. I don’t know if it applies to free gift cards or not (since I got one from CVS and Staples recently with their promotions). But my guess is that is why Publix doesn’t offer them here.
We haven’t gotten it the last 2 time in the upstate os SC either! I suspect that it is because most of our BP stations are now Marathons and we only have 2 Shell staions in the whole county. We used to have Hess too but those stations have also changed hands.
I am in alabama and we have had the $10 off $50 gas card everytime. But I am in the southeast part.

Not sure if this is a regional thing for us here in Jax, Fl but my $0.60/1 Jell-O Refrigerated Snacks coupon expires on 1/8/12, a day before our sale starts.

You could ask them to special order. My store had a special order someone didnt pick up and they clearanced them out. Found 15 boxes at $3 yesterday… $83 overage!!

I’m not sure. I tried ordering 20 from another store, figured I’ll order the $10 coupons if they can get them in. There’s a cart located somewhere in the store with their clearance stuff. When I saw they were marked down to $3 I almost died! lol It was a fight to get them to use the coupons though, but they did take them. I had them put it on a GC so I’ll be using it for my shopping this week =] YAY!
Lucky! I called my Publix and the lady said I should expect a call within 48 hours. They will be letting me know if I will be able to order them or not. Hoping I am able to do so! I didn’t know it was possible to actually get the money back at Publix! Thought it had to go towards something else.Good to know!
While the coupon doesn’t state it isn’t valid on the trial pack, the coupon beeps when scanned. I personally don’t like to draw attention to myself and my couponing with beeping coupons. While a nice deal, I won’t be buying them using any coupons.
My store says they are being discontinued, that is why some are at a clearance price…
Last 3 gas card deals wasn’t in out AL ad. Hope we get it this time.

Does anyone know if I was to get $25 in groceries, would I be able to use both the gas card & AMEX deal at the same time? Or would I have to spend $50 to do both? My pantry is overflowing & I don’t plan on getting much this week, but would like to do both deals. It’s kind of annoying they started attaching the $25 grocery thing to the gc deals now :/

Last week’s store coupons for Harveys (and I think Food Lion as well) had coupons for $1/2 Pillsbury crescent rolls. If your store considers either a competitor, then paired with numerous available coupons, makes for cheap crescents. I’m in land of no doubles but I can get 18 cans for only $4.40 with all the coupon match ups!

The only problem you may run into is that the Food Lion coupons say “One per customer” on them. I would double check at your customer service desk to make sure that they will let you use several of the coupons.

also, the $1/1 Multi Grain Cheerios in the Find Yourself in Good Health booklet or printable works for both regular multigrain and the peanut butter one, making the boxes $.50 each! woohoo!
Nicole – I think the coupons in Good Health are for a smaller box…so unfortunately they won’t work for that deal.

In the Sweetbay Sweet Inspirations booklet, there is a $1/2 Vanity Fair item. Also, Michelle posted a few days ago about cat treat deals and she had a link to a Facebook .50/1 Temptations treat coupon. The coupon prints after a large ad.
I’m having difficulty with everything not showing up on my list when I print it. For instance, the Whiskas Temptations Treats didn’t print. I double checked that the box was checked and tried it again and it just leaves a blank space where it should print. And no it’s not an empty ink issue. Anyone else having this happen to them?
I’ve also tried only selecting the Whiskas treats and when I select print, it states I haven’t selected anything to print.
What’s a good price on the Almond Milk? I notice that there’s no checkmark next to it, so it must not be super cheap — but how low does it usually go?

I can get the Almond milk for about $3 a gallon. Usually it will go 2/$5 and then there are $1 off coupons. I buy it then. I have gotten it for as low as $1.50 a gallon one time, but I don’t expect that to happen again.
Ditto on Sarah’s comment about pricing, except I buy the Silk Almond milk. It’s often on sale for $2.50 as well and there are usually $0.75 to $1.00 coupons out. It has a very long expiration (8 weeks or so), so you can stock up when the price is right.
Would the $1.25/3 Jello, etc. q from the Deliciously Simple booklet work on the Jello 6 packs?
My Jello coupon from the 1/8 insert says it expires tomorrow (2/8) so it can’t be used for the sale this coming week.
ask customer service if your publix accepts expired coupons. Many publix stores allow expired coupons as long as they expire in the same week.

I’m glad you are collecting coupons for her but breastmilk is FREE. Totally NOT trying to start anything…just encourage her to try breastfeeding unless she medically can’t. I have a lot of friends who aren’t even TRYING and it’s sad. NOT trying to be a jerk…really out of love and concern for the baby. Have a great day!

Quick question – I am new to Publix couponing, not new to couponing – Just Publix. I have one Find yourself in good health booklet, our store is out of them. On the website you can print the booklet pages out and it has the coupon on it. Can I use that?
yes. You can print just the coupons without having to print the whole page though. Click on the coupon and it will give you an option print.
Andrea where on the website did you find the booklet to print? I’m having problems finding the booklets in my store and can’t seem to find it online. Thanks ?
The coupon tab is at the top right hand of the weekly ad page. There are 3 tabs at the top. BOGO and coupons are 2 of them. Click on the tab then find what you want and click on it. You can print more than one. Just change the count.

The Whiskas cat food coupon simply states “Buy 1 Whiskas Multi pack cat food, get $1.50 off any (2) Whiskas temptations cat treats 2.1 oz”.
The Publix coupons states “Buy (1) Whiskas Multi-pack Cat Food Get $1.50 Off Any (2) Whiskas Temptations Cat Treats 2.1 oz”. I have 30 of the BOGO free coupons so the kitties at our local shelter are going to be very happy.
Has anyone preordered items from Publix? I’m going to ask when I go there today if they can order me 60 bags of treats this week since they’re BOGO. I wonder if they will do that.
I asked my Publix last night if they would let me preorder items b/c I wanted 20 boxes of cereal and didn’t want to clear the shelf. They told me they don’t do preorders b/c they don’t have the space AND they only allow 10 like items to be bought at once!
My store wouldn’t order me 58 bags of the Temptations but the SM wasn’t in when I asked. I called the 800# and they said there is no reason for a store not to order items for you. When I spoke to the SM the next day he told me to take all 58 bags I needed off the shelf. I didn’t clear any shelves but I did get my 58 bags for the kitties at the shelter.

What I did find is on Barilla’s facebook page, when you click on the “wow your sweetheart” tab and then scroll to the bottom, you will find a link that says “get savings’. When I clicked that link it took me to a bricks page to print a $1 off coupon when you buy any one Barilla Pasta and any one Barilla Pasta Sauce.

Your sneak peek continues to not come through on RSS feed. Ever since you changed format it does’nt come. I refer back to my feed read many times throughout the week, but only now its not from IHP, its from one of your competitors. I like yours better, but if it doesn’t get delivered it can’t get read. Please check out what the problem is. Or maybe you don’t care if it goes out on a RSS feed. Either way, I wanted to let you know its still not coming, been about a month now.
Like I said last week…it seems the RSS and printable list plug in that I am using do not play nicely. I would love to be a technical guru who could snap my fingers and have everything work exactly like I would like it to — but I have to pick and choose my battles. I actually have a brand new gal who is working on a new plug in as we speak. Hopefully when she is done there will be no issues. But again…I am in a no win situation. I get grumps because of no printable list and now complaints from one or two who can’t get the ad (ONLY) as RSS feed.
If you can find the issue why the Mile 51 plug in is causing the RSS feed issues with the ad I will happily try to correct it
The good thing is … it only takes a few clicks to see the ad here on the site (I realize maybe not your most convenient option but the best I can do at this point today)

Hint: At the top of your browser there is a field into which you can type iheartpublix.com (if you don’t already have it bookmarked like I do) and the browser will then magically take you to the actual website! That’s how I and many others are able to read every Monday what you “can’t.”

There is a coupon for 1/1 cheerios regular or multi grain in the “find yourself in goodhealth” booklet that can go paired nicely with this sale and as well for the running out rebate. you end up paying 1 dollar for every 2 boxes after the store and manu coupons.
There is also a 1/1 crystal light energy mix coupon that came in the crystal light sampler this week in the mail, it’s for the 10qt of crystal light energy, will go great with the bogo sale

The Crystal Light Energy coupon is for the 10-count packets, and what’s on sale are the 5-6 pack of 10-12 quart.
I am new to Publix and I’m finding it hard to figure out where all the publix coupons are. Someone posted that you can print off some coupons from a book that publix has “Find yourself in good health booklet” where do you go to print these coupons on the website and what other booklets are there???

I have (10) of the Manufacturer $3/1 Iams from the P&G 1/29 insert, (1) of the Publix q $2/1 Iams, and (3) $1/1 Pedigree. I am not sure what I need, but I will look.
Careful about the Morningstar coupons. They say “limit one coupon per visit.” In Florida, Publix makes you buy two items to get the Buy-one-get-one price, so you can only use one coupon on the set.
That is not true. I am also in FL and you can use 2 coupons on a bogo item.

Yes. Publix considers all in-store items except prescriptions, gift cards, and alcohol to be part of your ‘grocery purchase.’

Has anyone whose weekly ad started today (Weds., Feb. 8) seen the gas card coupon in their ad?
I’ve looked at the new ad that started today for numerous locations all over both Alabama and South Carolina and do not see the gas card coupon in any of the ads. The AMEX coupon is on page 1 for all locations viewed, but the gas card coupon is nowhere to be found.
I live in Atlanta and fully understand that the ad for Atlanta that starts tomorrow (Thurs., Feb. 9) may differ from the ad for other locations.
they have not had the gas card in the birmingham alabama ad the last few times

I didn’t see it online either. I talked to a manager at the Dunn Ave. store earlier this week and he sounded like he was sure that we were going to have it for this week’s ad. I will be really disappointed if we didn’t.
Last few times it has not appeared online in Jax but it has been in the flyer. Just pick one up on your way in!

I found out tonight from the Mgr at Publix that they are limiting the Temptation Cat Treats BOGO to only 4 per customer for the week.
I was able to get 6 last night at my Publix. My issue was, I thought since it was a BOGO sale & I combined that with the BOGO coupons, that all six would be free. Not the case! Since each treat rang up half price, (or 90 cents each), i ended up paying for three of them. I guess $2.70 for $10.80 worth of treats isn’t bad, but i was expecting them to be free!
The way you were expecting it to work, it only works like that in Florida.
I found out from the SM the next day that the Mgr who told me I could only get 4 was incorrect. I got 58 bags and used 29 bogo mq’s making them all free.

I just received a Betty Crocker e-mail, under “4 New Recipes to Love” there is a $1/2 Betty Crocker Cookie Mixes 17.5 oz +. They are currently on sale for $1.79 so this gives you an extra $.20 off rather than using the 2 $.40/1 coupons.

Did you know that you can use Target coupons at Publix?
I use them at my Publix but from my understanding Publix takes different coupons depending on what stores are located by them. Customer Service should have a list of what competitor coupons that store will accept.

Yea, I tried to use it yesterday, and they told me it was expired, I was like no! lol but it was a little frusterating.
