Publix Weekly Ad and Coupons Week of 2/23 to 2/29

Here is the sneak peek of the Publix weekly ad that begins 2/23 and runs through 2/29 (2/22 to 2/28 for some). Let me know if you find additional coupons and I will get them added.
This is the second week of the Viva Italia sale at Publix. This week there is also an In-Ad Special where you will get a FREE Publix Deli Rotisserie Chicken when you buy any 4 participating P&G Items (participating items are marked with an asterisk*).
Remember this is the metro Atlanta version of the ad. Be sure to check your ad for any variations.When you see the checkmark 
– those items are either a great price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling, so if your store doesn’t double it may not be a stock up price for you.

Is the simply delicious booklet in store?
I have found it in the rack where they keep they yellow and green advantage flyers, but haven’t necessarily seen it at every Publix I have gone to. Try checking with customer service, hopefully they have some stashed behind the counter.

They were a while ago. The coupons are mismarked, though. They actually manufacturer coupons, NOT store coupons.
There is .50 off any 2 Kashi items from Target to add to the manufacturer coupon.
So happy the Talenti went BOGO so I can use my free coupons!

With the ritz crackerfuls can you use the target coupon and a manf coupon to stack?
You should be able to.
If your store considers target a competitor you will be able to.
There is a .50/2 Target coupon on Kashi items to use the Kashi Frozen

I agree! I was really looking forward to it this year but I am really disappointed! The deals are just not as good as they have been in the past.
I agree as well. I’ve only stocked up on one item for Italian Days. And this week, I’ll just be getting produce, milk, bread and meat.

Juicy Juice is a sore subject for me these days. Publix hasn’t put it BOGO since MAY!!!! Love my Juicy Juice too–none of the others compare.
I don’t see much this week…the Talenti will be good for me since I have the FREE coupons! Of course, I’m not in the land of true BOGO, so I will pay around $2.50 for two. Also, if your stores start their sales on Wednesday, there is a $1/2 Kashi entree or steamer from the Target Hi, Coupons! mailer. Thanks for all you do Michelle!

If you live in true BOGO and have only one coupon, you would buy 2 white sauces, one red sauce and then one more of your choice. 2 are free from BOGO and one more is free from coupon.
If you have two coupons, buy 4 white sauces and two red sauces. 3 are free from BOGO and two more are free from coupons. So you are only paying for 1 sauce.
If you live in half price BOGO, then you buy 2 white sauces (at half price) and get a red sauce for free. Not as good of a deal as true BOGO.

planning my daughter bday… Anyone try the publix frozen meatballs?
Too bad you are not my next door neighbor! Hubby and I defrosted the freezer on Sat and found about 12 bags of meatballs in there. I surely would share! I haven’t tried the Publix meatballs so I am no help there.
there fresh are good but I stopped buying them, they have trans fat (partly hydrogenized oiils)
I like the Publix meatballs. I’ve used them to make meatball sandwiches only though. They are smaller than ones that you could make yourself… but honestly I’d rather have smaller ones than have to spend the time making them myself.

The Bounty Target coupon expires on 2/21, before the sale begins. But, there’s the Publix Q for $2.00 off that expires on 2/25, so you can use it the first few days of the sale.
There was also a $1/1 Bounty coupon from the P&G sample and coupon booklets that went out…I can’t remember what it was called!
Yeah that was off of *one* roll, I used mine today!
It actually says “$1 off one Bounty”. I would think you could use it on a multiple roll pack.

Hey, two of the items I had selected didn’t print on my list- the cheesy skillet and the Hunt’s Natural Tomatoes. Any one else having problems with not everything showing up that they selected ?
I even tried only selecting those items and when I tell it to print my list it tells me I have not selected anything

Glad you mentioned to Cheesy Skillets…It didnt print on mine either…and I didnt notice 
Should be fixed now…just shoot me an email if there is an issue with the list. This definitely is not my favorite plug in. It has a ton of glitches and is really a pain to use. BUT–until my custom one is done I am stuck. Hopefully mine will be done soon and I can say goodbye to this one…and the RSS issue will be fixed too. Gotta love computers/software and all the fun that comes with them!!
I think I will take a week off! Always a good thing!

Nothing that I really have to get. I”m with almost everyone else, the sales just aren’t the way they used to be =( Just getting meat, milk.. and maybe the hot pockets for the hubby.

Slow week for me as well. I’m just going to get the Talenti gelato, the BOGO Land O Lakes, and maybe a few cans of the Green Giant green beans since I’m almost out.

I also noticed with the new spreadsheet that when I select all the items that I am interested in and click print list, that some items that I selected don’t show up.
(ex: item #2 & #3: Ronzoni & Alma’s do not show up on my “print list”.)

For anyone that haas a stock of Cheesy Skillets…check in your boxes for a .75/1 man coup. I bought mine abt 4 months ago and they hd these coups inside the package. Love my cheesy skillets~thats the way cheese is suppose to be!! mmmm Good!

the Whole Foods coupons I printed say “redeemable only at Whole Foods”. Will Publix take those?
Not unless your Publix considers them a competitor. You would have to ask first. They would only be considered a competitor if they are in your local area.
Yes, my store accepts Whole Foods as a competitor, their store is less than half mile away
I guess I was really asking about the “redeemable only at Whole Foods” part of the coupon.
Is it a manufacturers coupon? If so most anywhere will take it no matter what the other wording says.
If it is a man q they will take it no matter if they are a competitor or not!
If they say “redeemable only at Whole Foods” then you should only use them at Whole Foods unless you are using it as a competitor coupon. Publix will likely not get reimbursed for these coupons from the manufacturer.
There is also a $1.00 q for the 2000 Flushes. I just bought some on ebay.
I’m not seeing this Target Nabisco coupon anywhere.. the cracker coupon that is up is for Keebler crackers.
there was one up on the Target site at the beginning of the month because I printed it. I went back this morning to see if I might be able to print another one, but it is gone now, replaced with the Keebler/Cheezits/Town House coupon but the Keebler are on sale this week at Publix too.
Fyi, if you are thinking about getting the Velveeta Skillets, I think they are terrible and have seen many other comments stating they didn’t like them either. You might want to pick up one or two first and try them before you stock up on them. I got to host VCS House Party and I disliked them so much I donated the remaining boxes.
ive had the BBQ cheese one at it was not good. we always keep leftovers to eat for lunch at work and we ended up throwing our leftovers away.
i purchased two of these a few months ago and didnt like them either. Idea if you have any left you can use the velvetta cheese sauce with some pasta and have mac and cheese. I gave my mom the rice and she used it in something else. tried not to waste the contents just didnt like them together.
I’m with you, The are terrible. My husband, who eats almost anything, wouldn’t eat it. They made great feral cat and opossum food, though.

I accidentally refreshed the page after printing the Planters Nuts coupon on Facebook (you not only have to LIke Planters, you have to LIke the coupon to get the Print Now to come up) and I got another page with the Print Now, so I tried printing it again and it did. It is not a duplicate of the other one either, both coupons have completely different code numbers near the top.

I have never tried Mona’s Pasta Cafe Five Cheese Ravioli. Are they good? I am trying to find out who makes it and can’t find any information
They were the best frozen ravioli i have tried. still have some left from the first bag after feeding 2 adults and 4 children. They cook fast and easy.
I just remembered some M&M’s coupons that I picked up at Target before the Superbowl, 1.00 off any 2 (9 oz. or larger) that don’t expire until March 3rd. They were handing out samples that day.

This is probably a silly question but… is it ok to use the $5/$30 Publix q’s on anything we buy even if it’s not part of the Viva Italia sale? I ordered my q’s and I don’t have them in front of me so I wasn’t sure if there was any fine print

I also do not have this coupon available to look at yet, I was wondering if anyone knows if you spend $60 or more, can you use two of these in one transaction? Or would I have to split my checkout into 2 transactions?
I’m pretty sure you have to split it and you might even have to have someone else with you. My coupon stated “one coupon per customer”
My store will allow one coupon per order, limit two orders per person, so I take either my daughter or grandson if I have to split the order to make three seperate purchases. My Publix knows me now by name and I have no problems. The cashiers even remind me if I forgot a coupon!
They allowed me to use two coupons in one transaction. I spent a little over $60 dollars
My store never limits me even though I know per the stated policy they are supposed to. I was able to you 6 in the same transaction. It depends on your store and store manager.

I would ask customer service at your store. My store allows me to use as many $5.00 off $30.00 as long as my total matches ($120.00 total use four $5.00, $90.00 total use three, etc.)

On the printable sites I usually sort by food and then print out anything we may eventually use. I’d say 3/4 of them go unused but when they are gone from the site they are gone, they are gone. If u see something u might want at some point you’d be wise to print while it’s there.
I’ve barely begun to look for next weeks deals to see if I have prints. I have only scoped out what the donation items will be. Still working on this week trip # unknown.. too many to count as it’s been an awesome week for acquiring donations! Salad dressing, pasta, sauce, kettle chips, cereal, etc.
I am sad because I somehow lost/misplaced the KRAFT target printable that goes with this weeks sale and didn’t realize it and so the cheese I wanted for myself.. I’m going to have to pay more for it..

Agree. I work full time and can’t get online or do my shopping early in the week. By the time I get on, many of the coupons I need are gone.
Wow…Heather, please continue printing as many coupons as you feel you should. If other people want them, they need to figure out a way to print them sooner, and not blame you because if they didn’t get them.
I work two jobs and have kids… if I don’t get a coupon before it’s gone, then oh well. That’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Formula is not really something you want to stock up on until you know what your baby will take or tolerate. Just a suggestion. Would hate for you to waste money on something you can’t use. I tried to return a can of formula one time and the store would not let me:(

Check with your store. Mine will only let you purchase 10 of an item. Even if you are buying soups – different varieties doesn’t matter if it’s still the same brand – still only 10. hth

Has anyone been able to print more than one copy of the Northland Juice coupon? I love this stuff but is so expensive I sure would like at least one more if I can figure out how tp print it. I did try switching browsers.

I think there is a bounty coupon from the Running in Running Out sheet that can be used ($2 off). Along with the .25 coupons, plus if you by 5 (paper towels) or 4 and something else off the sheet you can submit it for the $5 rebate and get a free chicken. Would have loved to get some more peanuts (like the bogo sale 2 weeks ago) but what the heck is with publix pricing lol..the 16 ounce that were bogo 2 weeks ago were (and still are) $3.29 while the 12 ounce jars are priced at $3.89…what the heck lol?
I’ve noticed some other items that are like that. For instance a smaller box of cereal (same kind and all) was about $.60 more than the larger box. Crazy

I think they do because one time I bought a few can of diced tomato that were the wrong brand, so I went to return them the next week. Well the week I returned them, they were $.10 MORE then they were when they weren’t on sale the prior week. It’s such a shame that they do that.
At my Publix, I have noticed that most items have gone up between $0.05-$0.15 since the New Year, and they do raise prices on some items before a sale. When KY Intense was on sale with 20% off a few weeks ago, the price was $2 higher with the discount than just 2 days before.
With the combo of Target and MQ’s I was able to score these for $.40 each. Did have to get a raincheck though.

If you go to the Silk facebook page, you can print a coupon for $1 off any quart, half gallon, or single serve 4 pk that you can pair with the target $2 on 2 for the post honey bunches of oats bogo. That is, if target is considered a competitor for your store.
Any idea what the price is on silk right now? Trying to figure my transactions for the week.

I found the Honey Bunches of Oats peelies in Jacksonville, FL Publix. These were $3 off 1 any size box and 1 half gal of Silk. Went great with the Target $2 off 1 box + 1 hal gal Silk. Paid $1.50 for Silk and cereal.
There is Save $1/3 Velveeta Cheesy Skillets tearpad coupons (exp. 3/31/2012). I found them at Walmart.
And also $1/3 any Uncle Ben’s brand rice products blinkies (exp. 3/19/2012)
Love this site, it was given to me by a Publix manager. He says his wife uses it. I love coupons I saved $170.36 yesterday. I know I will save even more with this site.

I stocked up on the Green Giant Veggies for .39 per can. Was that a good price? I have never been able to get a cheaper deal on canned veggies so I thought this was good.

I’m now in my 7th month of couponing, and am loving it for the most part. Totally love my Publix trips, but have a hard time at the drug stores (Walgreens). Only shop at CVS and Publix now due to Walgreens difficulties, and uninformed cashiers. Sweetbay is only 1/2 miles from my house, and they can’t seem to get on the bandwagon of what is going on. I’ve lived in FL for over 6 years and thought Publix was WAY to expinsive. Live and learn.
