The clock is ticking…time to get shopping! How many of you guys are totally ready? I always tell myself that I am going to be completely done shopping by December 1st so that I can enjoy the holidays without stressing about buying gifts. I have come close a couple of times but I always end up needing a few items.
Planning ahead is the best way to make sure you get a good deal. Before you tackle your kids’ wish lists, you need to make sure what you are buying will last longer than a couple of hours. I like the hold on straps that attach to a stroller or a parent, for children to hold on to.
I left a review however on the Prince Lionheart wheely pig. It was so adorable. I would love to win this for my quickly developing 10 month old.

I, too, left a comment on the Hold on Handles review. I agree, the review was very thorough, and the product so ingenious and not something I had seen before. Like most parents, I want stuff that’s different and useful, not just junk that lasts only a couple of months after Christmas.

I find their review of the MicroPro 48 Piece Microscope Set from Educational Insights very useful; especially where they point out that the younger kids will require assistance. I intend to help my son with the microscope.

I have a baby girl and I think the “Lots to Say Baby Pacifier” is just too cute.
I think that the Hold-On Handles are a great idea. I have a one year old that prefers to walk independently or attempt to “push” the stroller.

My daughter would FLIP for the wheely pig! One of her friends has a wheely bug and it is such a great toy! The two are always fighting over whose turn it is to ride it! The Kid’Sleep Classic is a great idea! We could really make use of that around here. I train my children to stay in their rooms until a certain time, but one little boy keeps coming out to ask if it’s almost time to get up. The down side of this trainer is that it doesn’t give the child a clue as to “how much longer” they have to wait. Sure would be willing to give it a try, though!
