What is a good price on Halloween candy?? I don’t know if I should wait or buy now. Of course, if I buy now there is a good chance we will eat it before 10/31!!
I feel like I get better candy deals at the drugstores, but I haven’t done a per-ounce comparison. Rite Aid has some great prices this week, especially with the AdPerk coupons. Those are the smaller bags, though, so Publix might have them beat.
I bought some rite aid candy and then 2 of the publix BOGO bags this week. The publix bags were much larger than the ones from RA, I think they are twice the size.
One thing about Publix and holiday candy sales is that when they have sold out of it they do not get more even if it is on sale. My store won’t give a raincheck because they will not be restocking it.
CVS has Mars 2/$5 with $3.00 EB on a $10.00 purchase Use two $1.50/2 and net cost for 4 bags is $4.00 after EB. They are the small bags around 11 oz.

If your store accepts Whole Foods as a competitor, there’s a $1/2 Blue Diamond Products on their website & in their Whole Deal flyer. This is their Sept/Oct issue, but the coupons don’t expire until 11/30/11, so you might want to print some for future sales (you can print as many as you like). Also, my Publix constantly has blinkies for BD Almondmilk as well. The ones out right now don’t expire until 12/31. I just saw them last week, and the blinkies have been there for at least the past 2 months.

I always get halloween candy at the dollar store. You can get the exact same size bags that you’d get at publix at the dollar store.. for $1!!

Does the Pompeian Olive Oil coupon reset for anyone? I’ve tried to print it every time a sale occurs and that darn thing always says I already printed. When I haven’t!
Some coupons show that message when they are out of prints. It used to drive me crazy in the past, now I just assume that they are out.

Can I use multiple Publix coupons for a deal?
This comming week Campbell’s Select Harvest is BOGO @ $2.49
The BetterEatingBetterLiving Publix coupon says “limit on deal per coupon” with no bar code. Will I receive $1 off for every 2 cans I purchase and if so do I need to bring a coupon for each deal? I will then stack manufacturer coupons (-$1/2 & -1$/4).

It depends on your store. Both of my stores have a limit of one store coupon, period. They will not allow multiple transactions either.
My store allows multiple coupons, but has a limit of 10(of the same item, not deals). You can probably call CS before you go, so you can go prepared
I’m in FL – my Publix allows many coupons per transaction, I’ve used as many as 10 Publix coupons at a time and stack them with manu coupons.

LOVE this ad! We don’t eat any processed foods, and I have been waiting for a good veggies and fruits ad. The farmers market is over, and I’m so over doing all of my shopping at Whole Foods. Heading to Publix tomorrow for sure.
There were .50/1 Luigis coupons in the box when I picked them up in June (last BOGO for them, I think) so I’ll be picking those up this time around…my husband and kids love those! Also getting lots of soup, Dial bodywash, and Welchs grape juice. Not a great ad but still getting a few deals to fill areas here and there in my stockpile!

I called today and they told me they hadnt seen any coupon booklets in awhile but you never can trust what they tell you! I really want the Crystal Light coupons.

Does it appear that Publix is moving away from newspaper coupons and the like as of late? I have noticed that my percentage as an average couponer with a family to feed is going up and I am steadily paying more for my food and products. I wonder if the recent attention to couponing is making things more difficult for us who have been doing this for awhile. Anyone have any insight?
I’ve just noticed a general increase in the prices, a decrease in the package quantities and that it takes coupons just to get back to the price I was paying a year ago.
Why are the q’s from the Yellow Advantage Flyer for the Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sandwiches listed? They are for $2 off 1 box…Doesn’t that mean they will be .79 per box? I’m just checking because I happen to have a few of these q’s, and I want to be able to use them.

Can you freeze Pillsbury crescent rolls? Unopened, I mean? Because the Publix coupon combined with the manufacturer’s coupon makes this a nice deal and I’d like to stock up – my family LOVES crescent rolls.
my friends has tried it. She says they are fine. Be careful when you defrost because they explode easily. Also better to use in cooking. Little bit soggy if you just roll and cook. But not bad.

That is not a match, the YAF coupon is for a bigger size than the ones on BOGO. I thought the same thing, got real excited, and then had to pout when I saw the size differnce:(

Rebecca, you made some mistakes, and you published them on your blog for everyone to see!
As mentioned above, the Jimmy Dean coupon in the YAB is NOT a match to the JD breakfast items that are on sale. The coupon states that it is to be used on the 34-36 oz packages, and the sale items (the ones you bought) are 36.6-18.4 oz. That’s why Michelle does NOT have it listed in the match-ups.
Also, you used mq’s, Target q’s AND Publix q’s for the Suave Men’s products, and Publix’s coupon policy clearly states “We will accept a manufacturer’s coupon and either a Publix OR a competitor coupon [NOT BOTH] on the same item.” You shouldn’t have used the TQ’s.
I am hoping that these are genuine mistakes, and I am sorry to call you out on them. But please be careful that you are using your coupons correctly, especially if you are teaching less-experienced couponers on your blog. Just because your cashier took the coupons doesn’t make it ok. :/
Some stores allow triple stacking. They’re few and far between but they absolutely do exist.

I spoke directly to my Publix Manager and asked him about this. He assured me that I could use all 3 coupons together. It was not the cashier who accepted them, it was the Store manager. I always go through my manager if I have any doubt about anything so I don’t make any mistakes. I tell my readers to do the same. My Publix is extremely thorough and checks each coupon as I go through the register. I am always careful with coupons and do not try to get away with anything I am not supposed to, if that is what you are implying. Different stores have different policies sometimes and I’m sorry if your Publix doesn’t let you do the same. I am definitely not complaining about it! Good luck and take care!
I also asked about the Jimmy Dean coupon, so you know, and they told me they would accept it as well. I recommend you asking your Publix manager if they would accept Target Competitor coupons on top of the other ones for more savings! If not, that stinks!
My store allows me to use a Publix, competitor and manufacturer coupon together. I also used the Jimmy Dean coupon and even though it states that size, I verified with the manager and the cashier and they accepted it. My store does not carry the larger size. Some people ( Katie ) must be so bored that they have to look for others “mistakes”. I am not for coupon fraud of shelf clearing but people should just mind their own business and not criticize other people.

Used one Buy one get one free Publix coupon for Hallmark Card AND one
Publix coupon for $2.00 off a book of stamps when you buy $5 worth of Hallmark cards.
I did this deal a couple of times earlier this week and had no problems. But today the cashier (the one I said I would never use again but did!! Ugh!) said no I could not do it because you can’t use two coupons for the same item. I said but the $2 is off the stamps. Customer service said we will let you do it this one time. I said I thought you could since the same scenario using manufacturer coupons are allowed. For example you can use: 1 MQ: $2 off milk when you buy Kelloggs cereal AND 1 MQ for Kelloggs cereal. The manager said you can’t do this with Publix coupons. What do you think?????? I’m very frustrated because I always try to do what is right when couponing. Why didn’t they stop me the first and second time?! Please tell me what you think.
Oh I forgot to mention the cashier didn’t even ring up the stamps! That is probably why the coupon would not take. She had to ring up the stamps in another transaction.
