Is your new computer a 64 bit operating system and are you using internet explorer? If so, download the 32 bit os (in the 64 bit system, go to internet explorer and there will be a 32 bit option-you can have both systems on your computer at once)and you should be fine.

Also, if you have a new mac, it could be an issue. We just upgraded to the newest operating system for mac, and it caused all kinds of problems. We googled “coupons.com” and “mac lion” and found a solution, and it *sometimes* works now to print coupons. But sometimes is better than never!!
It is good if your store takes Target q’s. I hate to say not fair…but it seems like in the land of no doubles and no Target q’s….Publix is not that great of a store for savings…
I would have to disagree. I live in South Florida with no doubling and this week’s trip I paid $39.66 and saved $48.36 (including getting a $10 Publix gift card for spending $50 (before coupons)).
This includes getting milk, bread and produce, not just stockpiling.
Jennifer, I know it is sad to not be in the LODs but most sales prices at Publix are lower than other stores “Every Day Low Prices.” Check out the IHeartPublix forum for the chats about the best deals and you may change your mind quickly about Publix not being a great store for savings… I really rarely use Target coupons, and it is allowed at most of the stores around me, and I still manage to save 80 – 90% on my Publix shopping. I just really stock up when the best deals are available.
I’m in true-BOGO land. I can use Target Qs, but find I don’t use many. I check the Albertson’s, Sweetbay & Winn Dixie ads online every Wednesday morning, and while meat deals are often better, most other things aren’t even close. Our biggest savings are from stocking up when a Publix item is BOGO and has mfg coupons. Another thing I like is when I have $5 off $30 Qs (Publix or competitor) the same week as their $10 off gas cards. I buy $30 in meat and a gas card, and count my $15 savings as half-priced meat.
I do that too! Also with produce; can’t beat 50% off!

I know how you feel, I CAN use target, but no longer FLIPS, which were awaesome for baby stuff meat and produce sometimmes too, so I guess there is a balance.

Regarding the Hellmann’s mayo – the sale says for 20oz and the Publix LU coupon is for 22 oz… Will this still be accepted?
It shouldn’t be accepted since the sizes don’t match up. I think the one in the matchups should read 30 oz instead of 20 oz since it doesn’t come in a 20 oz size.

How does the Target coupon and manufacturer’s coupon work on the Kraft dressing BOGO? I’m not sure how many to buy per coupon and what I’m actually paying for?
If you live in a true BOGO place, use 2 target coupons and 3 manuf. Get 6 bottles just 39 cents (3 free from publix, 2 free from target coupons, and $3 off w/ manuf. coupons).
Just wondering why the Publix General Mills coupons aren’t included in the matchups. The online ones don’t expire until 9-4. It would make a great deal with $2 off the cheerios since they are BOGO. It would be a MM depending on which manufactor q you have. The V8 is BOGO so $1 off and manufactor q would make them free also.
The Cheerios coupon from Great meals/great deals is not listed because it is does not match up: Cheerios®, Honey Nut Cheerios®, MultiGrain Cheerios®, Lucky Charms®, Reese’s® Puffs®, Cookie Crisp®, Cinnamon Toast Crunch® (15.6-25.25oz) the ones that are BOGO (10 to 14 oz box) are a smaller size!

my 1/2 price bogo store makes me buy 2 to get however many they are offering free. if it’s buy one, get one, they half price it. if it’s buy two get two or buy two get one, you have to buy two in order to get the freebies.
Rebecca, I live in 1/2 price BOGO area… For me, on soda deals, you truly have to buy those 2 to get the following 2 literally at $0- it’s not like the traditional B0G0 where both items are 1/2 price. However, my store will accept a coupon (competitor or MFG) on the $0.00 12 packs. If you have access to 2 computers, you could print (4) $1/1 Diet Pepsi Target Q’s and pay $6.58 for 4 12-packs of Diet Pepsi. My husband and I like some meat on our bones- we don’t do Diet soda, but it looks like a fair priced deal to me!

I’m still fairly new to this but I’ve been doing pretty well. But I am confused about these tearpads. I’ve looked in store for them, but can’t locate them. Where are you finding the tearpads?
My Publix has a free-standing display rack at the front of the store (separate from their regular rack, but about the same size). They are actually individual coupon slips of paper not a pad that you would tear the coupon off of. They have a hole in the tops & are on hooks.

If you do not have a Target around you that is also a food store (with an actual grocery section including produce, etc.) then you probably will not find a Publix that accepts Target as a competitor. When Publix changed its coupon policy a while back, the competitors they accepted changed as well and included those competitors that were within a specific mile radius from an individual Publix. Because of this, not all Publix stores accept the same competitor coupons. So if you don’t have a Target that has a grocery section (not just dry food) then you probably won’t find a Publix around you to accept Target coupons. Hope that helps

I see that there are several other web sites that have grocery stores listed and offer a way to check mark the items you want and to add them to a list, then you can print it. I use the grocery list on the Publix website – I open up the Publix ad and as I go through this list, I click on the items I want in the ad. Then I can put in how many of each item I want, note coupons, put in special info (like if an item is for my mom-in-law – I do her shopping also), and so on. And since you can specify your local Publix, the list includes which aisle each item is in and puts them in order for me.

Dollar General at one time had a coupon for $1 off of 30oz Hellman’s mayo.. It is a mq coupon with Dollar General logo.. The coupon expires 8/31 – so only valid Wed if your sale starts that day.
Publix has a store coupon for $1.75 of Hellman’s.
Unfortunately it’s not for the size they have on BOGO, but better than nothing…$1.75 is nothing to sneeze at regardless, lol.
The Bilo Gold Star booklet has a coupon for $1 Off Hellmanns Mayonnaise, but it expires 8/31/11.
I am considering making homemade mayo because the prices are so high! BOGO makes it cheaper, but still…I have to make 6 turkey sandwiches a day to feed the hubby and kids lunch. We go through mayo really fast!
Anyone know a good recipe for mayo? If so, will you share it? Does anyone else do this? Just curious

Cathy, I made some a couple of weeks ago and it turned out great. Did not look like the kind you buy but tasted wonderful. Had a gourmet taste to it. My daughter did not like it, but I loved it. I made homemade for years but It really isn’t a huge savings because of buying all the oil. If a batch doesn’t turn out it is money down the drain. It is different I was the only one in my family who liked it.
My family is a BLUE PLATE family. Has anyone EVER seen a coupon for it? I even wrote to the company to no avail… It is also expensive but a splurge we buy anyway…
We only eat Blue Plate too, and in the 2 years I’ve been couponing, I’ve only seen one coupon for it. I’ve noticed though, that my smaller, local grocery stores will put it on sale much more often than the bigger stores…the one closest to my house has it for $2.99 pretty frequently, and while I don’t have Qs to pair with the sale, that’s a decent price for what is usually $4+ mayo. HTH.

blue plate is the best! lol when i lived in colorado and tennessee, i would have to smuggle it back with me over the georgia line! and your right never no coupons!
When we lived in GA we found Blue Plate —- OMG it is the best!!! We now live in FL and have found another one that is also delicious and its called Dukes. We love it as much as Blue Plate. We did however, find Blue Plate at WalMart! I was so surprised, so now we have a choice of our two new favorites. The only this is no one will let me even think of buying Hellmans or Kraft and with all the great BOGOS it kills me. Be careful though once you try them, you’ll have a hard time with the other…sometimes its best to not know…

It seems like lately in the birmingham area our coupon inserts have been sad. Very few food coupons, mostly hair dye and pet products. It seems like out of my list each week I am getting about 25% of the coupons listed. Does anyone know how to contact smartsource or redplum about this?
i feel the same way here in pensacola the red plum ad had 3 pages of coupons the reast were crap ads about bradford exchange or direct tv where are the major coupon inserts like before right…

michelle, papers will fill their subscribers papers first with q’s, then the leftovers are for machines, ect. I find that my wags gets bundles just like the delivery people so if i get there in time they have all the inserts, YMMV

Not sure if you follow Birmingham Bargain Mom Christie Dedman of the Birmingham News, but when she released the deal for $0.55 per issue of the Sunday paper, I signed up to have 4 delivered to my home every Sunday and now to find out that we always miss out on the Target or Publix regional coupons, and sooo many more like Keebler and Kellogg’s stuff- we like these products too, even though we live in B’ham!!

what upsets me is that i see the sneak peek at the upcoming sale and get all excited and start planning and making the list, figuring up the $ and then get home to pull the coups from SSs & RPs only to find they werent in ours. soooo frustrating. last week i had to mark 3 things off my list because our inserts didnt have the coups for them and this week im having to mark 2 items off for that reason. ive gotten really sad in that i wont buy anything if i dont have a coupon for it. Montgomery is worse, I promise. There are like 4 places to buy Birmingham papers down here and they vanish on Sundays. I prefer to sleep in so I started ordering ordering whole inserts from Crystal at Coupon Beat. I think she gets her coupons from the Nashville paper (at least that is where she is located) MUCH better coupons evey week. I still pick up my Montgomery paper on the off chance they have something decent but I rely on Crystal to get my inserts every week.
Not only that, but the prices are going up every time I go to the store, it seems like! At the beginning of the year I was saving a huge percentage, and over the summer it has dropped significantly. It is very hard to find any coupons other than the green and yellow fliers, and you have to ask the service desk for your limit 1 of those. I hate what “that show” has done to our shopping, as well as BBM, sadly. She posts and people fly out to clear the shelves.
I am lucky to get any coupons at all here in Columbus, MS. I am ordering the coupons I need online this week for the first time. We’ll see how it goes.

If you use the mq from the Dollar General tearpad that was $1/1 Hellman’s mayo and then stack it with the $1.75 Publix Q it could be a money maker. I used the website greatdealsonmeals.com and downloaded the Publix coupon and used them last week!!

I can’t ever find them but I’m in the Bham area and we’re all complaining about our inserts here anyway! Have you tried making your detergent? I started using it about a month ago and I’m really pleased with it. Very cheap too!

last weekend I was shocked to see a gallon of milk is now $3.99. Don’t know if I just haven’t been paying attention, but I thought this was new. When I first started couponing a few years ago, milk was only 3.19/gallon.
Hate to say it but Kroger has their milk on sale for $2.98 most weeks. I have been going there for all my milk recently. Every little bit helps.
The Hellmann’s mayo coupon in the BI-LO booklet $1/1 expires on 8/31, the same our Charleston,SC market sale starts.
In my binder, I found $2 off Pedigree dog food that I grabbed from a blinky a couple of months ago so it makes it 50 cents for dog food. I also have $1 off 2 12 pack’s of Mountain Dew from a tearpad a month ago which makes each 12 Pack $2.
Just an FYI. The $2/1 Pedigree Blinkie Q expired about a week ago. You might still be able to use it but wanted to give you a heads up in case you run into trouble at the register. There is at least 1 store in my area that allows the use of expired Q’s for 2-4 weeks.
For those whose sale starts Wednesday, 08/31, Winn-Dixie has a $2.00/1 any Purina One Beyond 3 lbs. or larger store coupon on the front page of their pet flyer available in store. It expires on the 31st, so the stack on the dog food with the MQ in the 08/21 SS will only be good the first day of the sale.

The Target I went to yesterday had Kraft BBQ sauce marked down to $1. I had a .75 off coupon from a walmart tearpad, great deal for bbq sauce
uhm, i think the kraft cheese singles are not on sale…the only cheese that resembles that sale is sargento cheese 2/$5. i check the georgia ads that start today, too, and they all say the same thing as my ad.

It is a Target Q for 1 pack of Ball Park Beef Franks for $1.99. There is no amount off, just a straight price. This Target recently opened a grocery and they send some coupons in the mail.

Publix doesn’t price match, so I don’t think they will accept that kind of coupon. Only competitor coupons for an amount off ($1/2) are accepted.
You should have better luck with future coupons on the Target website though – and I think a lot of people (myself included) wish a Target grocery would open up near us!!
