  1. jenny says:

    WOW! Thanks so much!!

  2. Abbie says:

    THANK U! THANK U! THANK U!

  3. Lois says:

    yay for Morningstar Farms!!!

    • lookitsatree says:

Check your cereal boxes–if you’ve bought a Kellogg’s cereal w/ the coupon booklet inside, there may be a Morningstar Farms coupon in there. My 2 boxes of Corn Flakes from when they were bogo + qs had them ~ yay!

  4. Lois says:

there is a $1/2 Morningstar Foods that expires 7/31 from the Coca-Cola summer booklet :-)

  5. Andrea says:

I see that the Kraft Mayo shows there’s a coupon matchup in the Stocking Spree booklet. Is this the one we requested a while back? Has anyone received theirs in the mail yet?

  6. Alaina says:

Aw man!!! the veggie burgers aren’t included on the morningstar farms BOGO??? Boo :O(

    • Maggi says:

Bummer! Usually when Morningstar Farms goes BOGO, all of the products go BOGO. I’ve got a bunch of coupons that I want to use up! Maybe in-store the burgers will be on sale.

    • Maggi says:

Me, too. The grillers make a great patty melt and my husband and son just love the taste of them. The products are WW points friendly, too.

  7. Lana says:

Some areas got 1.50/1 Smart Balance mulk coupons. I did.

  8. Kristin says:

I am bummed – doesn’t look like too much I want.

  9. Lynne says:

I would kill for some Quaker instant oatmeal coupons sigh.

Also remember Starkist SeaSeations deals of yesterday?

    Thanks Michelle :)

  10. Sheila says:

First of all thanks for all you do! Love this site!

I was looking at the Knorr deal. My Red Plum 5/22 the coupon expired 6/19. Maybe regionally the expiration date was different though.

    • lookitsatree says:

It may have been included even though it expires on Tuesday because some Publix locations will take it a few days expired until the Sunday of that week rolls around. So, it doesn’t hurt to visit your customer service and check w/ them if they can accept those for your business. :)

  11. angela says:

can i use the manufacturer’s $5 off 5 kelloggs cereal coupon AND manufacturers coupon for 70cents off fiber plus caramel cereal and 2 manufacturers coups for $1/2 raisin bran? one coupon states ANY Kelloggs cereal, the other two are specific for which cereal i can get.

  12. Marie says:

Not a good week for me.
Thanks for your hard work though. :)

  13. Lana says:

One thing to note about the pizza crusts at 1.99 each. You can buy a case of 20 frozen pizza dough balls from Sam’s Club for about $15 which comes out to about 75 cents per crust. They will keep for 6 months or more in your freezer and they are excellent crusts. One dough ball will make two 12 inch pizzas.

    • Amy C. says:

Thanks Lana! I never thought of going to Sam’s for this! Now to just find some freezer space for this… :)

      • Lana says:

Hubby likes to put the whole case in but that is difficult. Last time I got a case I put each ball in a ziploc freezer bag and spread them all over the freezer and that was easier.

Get the ball out of the freezer by 9-10 AM and spray the inside of the bag it comes in with PAM. Twistie it up and leave on the counter all day to thaw and rise. Bake at 375 for 18-20 minutes after topping the crust. Took me awhile to learn how to deal with these so ya’ll can skip the learning curve!

    • Darry says:

I have never seen pizza dough at SAMs. Is it new? I am in Florida. That is a great price.

      • Frances says:

The pizza dough is in the section where they serve the hot dogs, pretzels, etc. They get it out of the freezer. The box is around 12″x15″x6″.

I have used a pizza crust to make 8 personal pan pizzas (and let my children put on the toppings), pretzels, or doughnut holes (let rise about an hour; cook at 375 for 12 minutes). Then roll the doughnut holes in melted butter and put cinnamon and powdered sugar (1 tbsp. cinnamon to 5 tbsp. powdered sugar) in a bread bag and shake. Yummy!

      • dj says:

I use to purchase it from Sam’s Club as well. In Central Florida, it is more like $18 to $19 a case. It is still your best bargain though.

  14. Mary Beth says:

    Hi Michelle,
You have a typo on the expiration date of the knorr sides. It actually expires before this sale starts. It expires on 6/19/2011. I just checked 7 different databases to verify.

  15. nikki says:

VERY SLOW week…..I am thinking it is the calm before the storm…the Back to School grocery sales have got to be coming up soon! As I recall…there were lots of great deals, sweepstakes and rebates last year. I am hoping for the same this year. I am pretty sure it all started in August!

  16. Quen says:

    $.75/3 Hamburger Helper & $.75/2 Trix yogurt on http://www.Quericavida.com

  17. Dorothy says:

Doesn’t look like a great week for me ;-(
Where are all the back to school snack deals? Or even the BIG school supply deals…it seems like no store has great deals this year..

  18. Traci says:

I still haven’t received my Stocking Spree booklet. Has anyone received it?

  19. Maggie M. says:

Nothing too exciting but thanks for the preview Michelle!

  20. Diana says:

My son drinks Almond milk and the past two weeks there has been $.55 off 1 blinkies which would make an even better deal! I hope they are still there come Saturday. ::fingers crossed::

  21. Traci says:

    FYI:
I saw the buy any 3 always, crest, oral-b or pantene products to get $5 Publix gift card display. And I did it.
    I bought:
2 pantene products 2/$7 (had $0.50 peelie on it & used $3off any pantene product cp)=2/$2
    1 Always pantiliner $1.19 (had $0.50 peelie on it)=$0.19
Grand total= $2.19 plus Tax and received $5 Publix Gift Card

    • Jenn says:

Were the $0.50 peelies and the $3.00 off any Pantene both manufacturer coupons or were the peelies Publix coupons? Just curious, where did you find the $3.00 off any? The only one I can find is a $3.00/2.

    • tampatwinmom says:

lucky you, I went to 2 publix- both were wiped out of the tearpads :( no rainchecks on them

    • Kari Eso says:

does anyone have any more of these tear pads or know where i can get one? i just bought 10 crest toothpaste last night on a raincheck from last week’s sale. Would be nice if i could get $15 in gift cards for it. or even $5. if you have one, can you please email me reocloser at yahoo(dot)com?

  22. Kimberly says:

FYI – there is a tearpad manufacturer’s coupon for Save $1.00 on any variety of Activia 4-pack or larger (expires 3/1/12). Yeah for Activia sale!! My husband and girls were just asking when they might go on sale as we only have 1 4-pack left for the week.

  23. desshopping says:

I’m kind of glad that this isn’t a GREAT sale week, since I’m well-stocked on most nonperisable things.

However, I’m DELIGHTED about the Morningstar BOGO. For $ 1/box after coupons, I’m looking forward to buying four boxes of these. Add some produce and use my $ 3/off $ 30 Publix and $ 5/off SAV and I’ll get a bunch of stuff for practically free.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this blog!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. Marie says:

Hoping for good juice box deals soon! :)

  25. desshopping says:

    *nonperisable* = nonperishable ;)

  26. Ginger says:

Thanks for the preview. Not a good week for me either:( I was hoping for some yoplait yogurt and grits. Oh well, better luck next week.

  27. Robin F. says:

Anyone know if the school supply stuff is going to carry over for the next few weeks?

  28. Cheryl says:

The Publix stores in and around Birmingham never seem to have any of these booklets that are mentioned in the weekly ad matchups. Do you have to ask for them or sign up for them by mail? I check the tall flyer holder at the front door but rarely have any luck.

    • Meghan says:

I normally have to ask customer service

      • Angie says:

I am in the McCalla area and they keep every booklet behind the front desk due to folks coming in and grabbing them by the handful (so they say). Problem is, on 6/30, they told me they had a bunch they ended up having to throw out. When they’ve got a week left on their expiration date- PUT THEM OUT!! Needless to say, I ask at the front desk every time I walk in- even when I stop in to stores that aren’t my normal stores (Hoover, etc.). We still don’t seem to get nearly as many booklets in our area though… Happy Hunting

        • Cheryl says:

          Thanks Angie and Everyone,
I agree! I asked one time on Overton Road (Mountain Brook/Cahaba Heights area) and they said if they weren’t out then they are out of them. I mentioned it to the bagging person and he said nah, I’ll get you one. He came back with three different ones! I’m not sure what the big secret is but I was thankful he was really nice. My normal store is Trussville so I will have to try them. Thanks for the advice!

    • karen says:

Have ever asked at the customer services desk?

  29. Amy says:

Yeah the Quaker Oatmeal is FINALLY BOGO!! I have been out and dying to have some! I love the Graham crackers are BOGO too .. we have Cousins’ Camp this week and need these for smores!

  30. Sally says:

MQ Tearpad is out there for $0.50/1 Kellogg’s Raisin Bran, Raisin Bran Crunch, or Raisin Bran Extra! 15 oz. or larger. Exp 7/30/11. Found at Publix today. UPC’s wualify for the $10 Mastercard rebate http://www2.kelloggs.com/aarp/rewards/

  31. Kate says:

    Thanks Michelle!

  32. Lauren says:

Thanks!! Will V8 V-Fusion ever go on sale again? It seems like it’s been forever!

    • Angie says:

If you have a Target near you, visit totallytarget.com and scroll down to yesterday’s posts about cheap finds @ Target w/ new Target printables- pretty sure she has one for V8 V-Fusion. Good Luck!

  33. Kathy says:

As much as I LOVE Publix, since they’re no longer accepting Target q’s in my area, I’m finding better deals at Kroger and Ingles. Another week of no Publix shopping for me….

    • Lisa says:

I agree! My nearest Target, about 2 miles from me, closed down about 6 months ago. The nearest one is now about 35 minutes from my home. No Publix within 30 minutes from my home takes Target Q’s! Plus I live in Fl, so no double q’s.

  34. Anna says:

Darn it! Knew I should have printed that Solo coupon from Target…now I can’t find it on the website anymore. I guess that’s what I get for waiting….

  35. Carissa says:

Michelle, the Target printable for the Yoplait Yogurts is a TARGET STORE printable and can be paired with the Mfr printable you have listed; but you have the target printable in red which makes it look like it’s only a mfr coupon.

Also, the Target printable for the Scotch scissors is no longer available. It was only a MFR coupon, and it’s no longer available. There is a target printable for Scotch TAPE tho. So, let’s check our binders!

    • Pille says:

just printed it – mine printed manufacturer from target site

      • Carissa says:

Hmmm. Maybe the Yoplait Target Store coupon is not available anymore. I have it in my binder and it expires 7/23. BUT Now that I read it, it says VOID in CA, NV, NJ, LA, TN, ND.

I do see the mfr q on there now.

  36. irene says:

Anyone know if Kelloggs Raisin Bran would be cheaper at Kroger ($1.99) through 7/24 or 50% off at Publix? Still holding onto that valuable $5/5 Q! TIA!!

    • Amy C. says:

It might depend on the size box you get. Kroger’s $1.99 is for the 20oz size…

    • Krista says:

Irene, where are you located? At the stores in the Atlanta area you could get a slightly better buy at Publix with the 50% off sale. Raisin Bran 15 oz. box normally priced $3.59 would be $1.80 per box after 50% discount OR Raisin Bran 20 oz. box normally priced $3.95 would be $1.97 per box after 50% discount. The 20 oz. box is on sale for $1.99 at Kroger. You will save $0.10($0.02/box) at Publix if you buy the same size that is on sale at Kroger.

If you live in Florida, the cereal tends to be slightly more expensive; therefore, I would almost bet you would get a better deal at Kroger.

  37. Swimmermama says:

Great week for me! The eggs I buy are on sale, we eat a ton of Morningstar food, and we are out of sargento cheese. Awesome. Thank you so much!

  38. i cant find the $5/5 Glade TQ. is it an old one?

  39. Melanie K says:

If only there were more coupons available for Kellogg’s cereal…;)

  40. Lisa says:

Thanks for the quick ad up! I hope we get a super great week soon! I think August will be better deals with people shopping for school lunches, etc. I hope Glade coupons make a come back! I use to have four or five pages in binder of just Glade! I hardly have any right now.

  41. sherrylou says:

My Sargento Publix coupons expired on 7/15 :(

  42. Nicole says:

I am pretty excited this week. I needed Smart Balance milk and to use my Publix Sargento coupons.

  43. Angie says:

Target’s papermate $1/1 writing utensil Q will give you either 2 packs free this week (on sale @ Publix 2/$1) or overage.

There is also the MFG Q for $1/2 Bic writing utensil from coupons.com not listed above.

And then when you buy a watermelon, there’s a Q for a Minute Maid or some kind of Iced Tea (hangtag) that you can use to get a free 1 or 2 liter (don’t have it in front of me right now). These were everywhere in ALL of our local grocery stores within the past month.

  44. wendyc33 says:

To respond to lynne. There was 1.00/2 peelies on quaker oatmeal boxes at my winn dixie store. Maybe you can find the same. I love quaker coupons. Would love some off the granola bars.

  45. lander8 says:

Usually the Smart Balance milk goes on sale 2 for $5. I wonder if milk prices went up? I guess I will pass it up this time.

  46. Kathy says:

I’m not a soda drinker, but I’m thinking that the BOGO manufacturer’s peelies on the 7UP retro I saw on Sunday might come in handy!

  47. April says:

This is a really good week for me!!! Yayayayayay!!! Thanks for all your hard work!

  48. Dana says:

What is the Kelloggs ready to eat cereal? Are those the smaller boxes?

  49. Megan says:

    My pup is Maggie :)

  50. Corinna says:

Does anyone have any idea what will be the best Kelloggs deal with the listed coupons?

  51. Viviana says:

I wonder if the smuckers BOGo includes the organic one. Anyone have any idea?

    • Lana says:

      not ususally

    • Sue says:

rule of thumb…sale items are all the same price regularly. example: Smuckers 18 oz. jam is $3.29 and 15 oz. jelly is $3.29. (cost to Publix is the same so they put them all on sale, to give us more variety and so they don’t run out. So if organic is $3.29 for 10 oz. price check with Customer Service, it may be in the group.)

  52. Carissa says:

There are also $0.50 off Fresh Express printables we printed a while back (no longer available). One of them expires 7/31 and the other expires 9/30. So check your binders!

  53. Denise says:

There is a great sale on kelloggs cereal @ walgreens coming up on 7/31. They are 4/$10 and get back 5RR, so buy 5 boxes to use the $5/5 kelloggs coupon and pay $2.50 after coupon and RR for 5 boxes or 50c each. (Even better if you have RR to roll.) Not sure how these will ring up as their items have been ringing up weird when you have to buy multiples. I plan on getting the Special K.

That’ is a great deal if you plan on submitting for the $5 gas card!

    • Jennifer A says:

Great deal, thanks for posting. I also have been having issues when I buy multiples, and the cashiers don’t take all of my coupons for all the items. I have been making sure I have fill in items and giving them the walgreens coupons first. It’s been a nightmare shopping there lately.

  54. Tracy T says:

If your store takes Rite Aid coupons, there is a $1/2 VV right now to make the 50% off on Saturday and Sunday even better!

    • Catherine says:

No Publix stores take Rite Aid (or any other drug store coupons) per the new coupon policy. FYI, just didn’t want you to get your hopes up :)

      • Jennifer says:

My Publix still takes CVS and Walgreens. I know the new coupon policy says no, but mine still does.

      • Kris says:

Yes, there are a lot that still take Walgreen’s, CVS, and Rite Aid even with the new coupon policy.

      • Tracy T says:

Mine still takes RA. That is the only drugstore they take. Not sure why, but I’m not complaining!

      • Catherine says:

Wow! That is awesome. You guys are lucky – I was thrilled mine still takes Target. They used to take all the drugstores before the new policy came out, but now just Target and Kroger. The store manager said he still wanted to take drugstore competitors but he wasn’t allowed to. Enjoy the extra savings :)

        • Jennifer says:

Ours won’t take any drugstores any more, nor Target, nor SavALot. I’m having a tough time recently, as you can imagine. :(

      • Victoria Waters says:

They will take a Rite Aid coupon if it is a manu q…the rite aid video value coupons usually print out as Manu q’s…

Just got another $5/30 purchase at Publix coupon in the mail (Zephyrhills area), expires around my birthday (July 24). Yay! This is the second time in a month I’ve found one in the mail, plus one on a newspaper from a friend for the 4th, and one in Winn Dixie’s ad that Px comped for me–every shopping trip for the last month except one has had such a q. Hooray! Can’t tell you how badly we needed those ~ Yay! Yippee!

  58. Andrea says:

Heads up for the current sale 7/14-7/20… Hersheys syrup is BOGO and Publix had tearpads with B3G1 free hanging next to them (NE Florida). Paid $2.39 for 1 and got 3 freebies. :)

    • Shanna says:

There are also $1/2 qs you can use. So buy 8, use 2 B3G1, and 3 $1/2 and pay $1.78 for all 8 or $.22 apiece. :)

  59. Jennifer says:

I know the answer is probably no, but do you know yet if the Garden Delight is included in the Ronzoni BOGO…..fingers crossed. I have been waiting and waiting for it to go BOGO. I bought it last time and my family LOVED it.

  67. Maribel says:

Any idea where I could find the Gatorade coupon?

  68. Rondee says:

Maribel they had hang tags on the bottles here a few weeks ago but alot of peeps went in and started taking them.. the store placed behind the customer service desk may want to ask ifthe have anymore.. CVS has an 4 pk for 1.99 after the eward buck you get back.. makes them about 49 cents a bottle that sale ends sundayhere in florida

  69. Rondee says:

Publix has a facebook page I am going to comment that we in our area never get the $$$ off a certain amount spent in the mail here and that and winn dixie are the only stores we have to chose from who know maybe if enough folks post a comment to them they will listen and share in more areas.. :)

    • Christine says:

The $$$ off certain amount spent is not something that Publix sends out. It is actually through Red Plum. I know this because I am an office staff at Publix and one of my managers called corporate an asked about it and they said it is not something that Publix has control over.

  70. Kelly says:

Are the same kids Scotch scissors on sale again or is it something different?

    • Sarah says:

It look to be the same thing.

    • Allison says:

I tried to use the $1/1coupon for the scissors and it would not scan so my store would not take it.

      • Catherine says:

Mine wouldn’t scan either. The manager told me they weren’t supposed to take them if they didn’t scan, but that they would just this time.

It is really weird though because I printed them right from the scotch website.

        • jessica says:

I used them and they both scanned…free scissors!

        • Kristi says:

My cashier folded the coupon to get it to scan. She said the bar code was too long and it wouldn’t scan right. Once they folded the coupons, they scanned fine.

          • Tina H says:

yes, I used all my coupons at my store- I agree have them fold the coupon so you can ONLY see the one UPC at a time. It will work better

  71. Mack says:

I thought I had all of the lingo down, but…please let me know what a “rolling” coupon is and how I get them!

    • Resa G says:

Rolling means that the expiration date depends on the date you print. Usually about 30 days out. As opposed to a fixed expiration date no matter when it’s printed. Hope that helps.

  72. suzanne says:

I just used a rain check on wishbone bogo from last week. I used a mfgr coupon and a publix coupon on each item and the register wouldnt take the publix coupons with the register saying “coupons exceed number of items purchased”. A manager told me since the publix coupon stated “one deal per coupon per customer” it meant no matter how many items I bought I could only use one publix coupon. Anyone else see this?

    • Amy says:

I think that means you have more coupons than items. I have run into this at Walgreens, but not Publix yet :) Even though you are allowed 1 Publix Q and 1 manufacturer Q, maybe you still have to have more products than coupons TOTAL… One deal per coupon per customer means one Q per item I thought.

      • Jennifer M says:

I usually run into this with my last 2-3 coupons when I go to publix. It just means that you have more coupons than items. Usually happens when I use a $/$$ coupon too. (cause everything I buy has at least one coupon). a manager just needs to override it to continue.

        • Lisa says:

Manager over rides annoy me and the people in line behind me so I do a quick coupon count / item count and add a banana if I have more coupons than items. This smooths out the process and make life more pleasant.

    • Angie says:

Happens to me on smaller transactions at Publix. When you are using a store and MFG Q on multiple items, you’re giving them more coupons than the number or products you are purchasing. Be patient and kind, the Supervisor will come over and key in their ‘digits’ and the cashier can continue. I have even had to explain to cashiers that when they get that error message it is because I have more coupons (due to using store or competitor AND MFG Q’s on most or many items in my transaction). I’ve only been questioned once- they looked through my bags to make sure I got the qualifying items for the last couple of coupons, in the right size, and we all went on our merry way. :-)

    • Lynn says:

I did this deal too. It’s because the Publix coupon says 1 deal per”customer”. That means you can only use 1 of the Publix coupons. The register does beep if you have more coupons than items…happens a lot when you use 1 store and mc on each item. That is acceptible though….Publix will override that.

    • Robin F. says:

This manager was mistaken. “one deal per coupon per customer” means a coupon for each item. Basically you can’t use 1 coupon and apply it to all the bottles of dressing. Each bottle is a purchase. So if you purchase 10 bottles, you can use 10 store Q’s and 10 MF Q’S. If there was a limit, the coupon would say “one coupon per transaction” or “one coupon per customer”

Take your receipt and Q’s to Customer Service. They should be able to give you cash for the coupons you couldn’t use the other day.

    • AlexA says:

I personally had this discussion with a “store manager” at my Publix. When a coupon says “one deal per coupon per customer” means that:
Let’s say you are buying: (2) cereal boxes B1G1 (current store deal)
and you will be using (2) manufacturer’s for each box and (2) Publix store coupons.
You won’t be able to use (2) Publix’s but only one (in theory) because is one per customer and you’ll be buying two items.
Anyway, long story short, he told me they are doing this just to control the “extreme couponers” from emptying the shelfs. (which makes sense)
      _____________________________________________________________________

The best thing to do is just talk to your store manager and ask how many coupons will they aloud you to use. My store alouds me (4) Publix coupons of same items pero transaction. Usually I’m able to buy (4) cereal boxes, (4) coffee and so on.
      ___________________________________

Now, there’s a trick! The coupon states “per customer”, so if you go with your kids and husband or the whole family, they must aloud one per person! If you are 5 people, they must let you use 5 coupons!! Funny@

Hope the info helps! Have a nice day.

      • Laurie says:

Have gone round and round in the blogs about this quandry. To me, it seems obvious that if a Publix Q says “One coupon per customer per item” it means that you must have one coupon for each item that you want to purchase(and of course you can stack manuf. Qs with those for each item since they are independent of the store coupon). I have always done this, but recently had a Publix mgr tell me when I went to use only TWO Publix store coupons for my two items, that the phrase on the coupon meant “only one of those coupons per customer”. Of course, that’s not what the Q says, but he said it was fairly obvious. This is one of those coupon dilemmas that really gets me. It is so subjective. He told the cashier not to call him again to “override” for a coupon situation like that because if the register beeped, it was clearly for a good reason, and she should not take the coupon. (Cue the grumpy frustrated Mommy face, complete with GROWL) In Math, 2 plus 2 is always four. I don’t understand why they can’t clearly define these things once and for all and just tell us. I have been couponing for a long time, and I am so tired of new surprises every time I go into my favorite stores. Just tell us how to do it so that we can do it the right way. Most of us are really trying to be honest. I have seven children, so if I really wanted to “take advantage” I could parade them all through with their coupon books (one per person) and do it that way. Yeesh!

    • jennifer says:

No, it means that no matter how many wishbone items you bought, you could only use one Publix coupon. The wording is one per customer, means you can only use one Publix coupon on this product no matter how many of them you bought. It has nothing to do with how many items you have on the belt. It is one per customer.

      • Kabbie says:

I have found that policies are a little different at each store and up to manager. One day I went in and bought 6 Wishbone using only Publix LU coupon. No problem. The other day I went in and used 8 All coupons MQ only and manager came over and said there was a limit. There were no signs anywhere stating a limit, but they have a right to limit. Same store. I agree, check with the manager. I usually visit several different stores if I am trying to stock up on a particular item. I also tend to share coupons with a cashier if I know I am not going to purchase as many items as I have coupons.

  73. Janice says:

I was just wondering if there is a publix here in Ocala that still takes Target coupons?

    • Angela Thompson says:

Janice, I believe the only ones that do are located in the Villages now.

    • Randi says:

Yay! I’m not alone in Ocala! If the Publix down in the Villages is taking Target coupons my friends and I may have to carpool on the good deals weeks. :) It was nice while they took them here though.

    • Danielle says:

No, and it is soooo sad that they do not take them anymore. I am super jealous of the people that live close enough to the Villages to score the deals that are available at Publix when using Target coupons.

PS-Love seeing other people on here from Ocala as well! If you know of anyone that is interested in learning how to coupon, I teach classes locally. http://www.creativecentscouponing.com

I signed up for the stocking spree booklet and haven’t gotten it. :(

  75. Meme says:

I am going to be staying at Lake Lanier Islands campground Thursday through to the next Tuesday. I am wondering if anyone can give me pointers on the closet store (of any kind) that will except coupons. Also, we are traveling to the Gwuinett arena for Friday through Sunday, so a store in this area (duluth, Sugar Hill, etc.) would work.

Thanks for any help. Plus, store coupon policy for your suggestion. Many, many thanks for help. Meme

    • Becky says:

There is a Publix about 5 miles from Lake Lanier Islands at 4840 Golden Pkwy in Buford. There is also a Kroger directly across from the Gwinnett arena in Duluth.

    • Mary says:

There is also one right off 985 at the Flowery branch exit with Target etc.

    • Catherine says:

Good luck honey. There are a lot of “extreme couponers” in that area, and due to shelf clearing the local stores are NOT coupon friendly. The Buford, Friendship Rd, and Flowery Branch stores only take Kroger as a competetitor and only accept 1 Publix coupon per person (of the same item).

Your best bet is to pack stuff to bring with you, or take lots of family to do individual transactions.

    • Margaret says:

If you are going to be in Duluth, GA, then I would go to the Publix on Pleasant Hill Road just off I-85. They are super nice, take Target, and usually still have most things on Wednesday when I shop the end of the sale. They are very coupon friendly there. I drive past about 5 Publix to go to this one just because it is the closest to me that still takes Target.

  76. victor says:

I’m surprised no one has mentioned the 75 cents off coupon on any 1 palmolive dish liquid 20 oz or larger or even the other smart source coupon for 50 cents off any palmolive ultra soft touch 25 oz. The first one I got from a tearpad back in kmart a month ago as for the second one it was from a smart source coupon machine don’t remember where

  77. Shantell Sanford says:

I just started going to Publix more and someone who coupons told me you could use a man Q, publix and competitor on one item?? I have only been successful using two Qs on one item.

Also when you use a man and the item has a peelie why cant you use both?

    • jennifer says:

You can use a manufacture coupon with a Publix coupon OR a competitor coupon on the same item. Never a Publix coupon with a Competitor coupon on the same item.
Peelies and manufacture coupons are the same thing. You can not use more than one manufacture coupon on the same item.

    • Andrea says:

Some stores do allow you to use a Publix store coupon along with a competitor coupon and a manuf. coupon. It’s the manager’s decression.

      • Shanna says:

Not anymore. It is written explicitly in the new policy that they only accept 2 coupons per item- 1 manufacturer and 1 store OR competitor.

  78. Lynn says:

On the Elmer’s glue… the Upromise coupon is for .75 cent off “2″. Not sure abt the gluestick one…but I am positive on the other glue..fortunately I noticed it after I’d bought one. Next trip I got another, I’m hoping it wont matter that I didnt get both at once, or that I got one at Kroger and one at Publix. We’ll see :) ) Not gonna complain either way~I SAVE WAYYYY TOO MUCH TO COMPLAIN!! I’m grateful!

I have my Publix UPromise card registered and I have been to the UPromise website to click the coupons I wanted. They show as activated but when I go through the line at Publix and have them scan my UPromise card nothings ever gets deducted from my receipt for the Ecoupons. What am I doing wrong?

    • Jenn says:

Upromise coupons aren’t actually deducted from your grocery bill, they are added to your Upromise account. For example, if there is a Upromise “coupon” for $1.00 for Charmin toilet paper, if you buy that Charmin toilet paper and scan your Upromise card, $1.00 is deposited into your Upromise account.

  85. Lesley Harbin says:

    • Christa McCay says:

With the new policy in place I don’t think any Publix is taking drugstore Qs anymore. Just certain competitors. Mine for example is Kroger and Target.

Use both and you can get a great money maker. Even if you don’t have the 2 or 5 off coupon this is still a steal for shampoo you can use the publix coupon and get it for 75 cents! Great price for this shampoo!

  96. Just wanted to let you know about a couple of matchups you seem to have missed.

The ‘Selected Pampers Diapers’ in the ad is also for Huggies too. It’s the boxed sizes. Huggies actually has a better matchup this week:
    $19.99 – $3/1 (in ad Q) – $3/1 (mfr Q 7/17 SS) = $13.99 a box
Pampers works out to $15.49 a box, so Huggies is better this week.

Also (a wonderful combination for a non-nursing new Mommy!) Yellow Tail Wine is 2@$11.00. There was a MIR in the paper a few weeks back, so…
    2@$11 – MIR ($6/4, $15/6, or $36/12) = 4 for $4 each, 6 for $3 each, or 12 for $2.50 each
