  1. Susan says:

I know you have probably answered this ??? a thousand times and I’m sure you have it posted somewhere…the price to the right of for instance the BOGO $2.39, that’s the amount you save with getting the two items??? Many thanks….

    • Jenn says:

That is the price of one item, you get the second one free, so 2 for $2.30. If you live in Alabama or Georgia, BOGO sale items actually ring up at half off. For the $2.39, the first one would ring up $1.20, the second one would be $1.19. You have the option of purchasing BOGO items in odd numbers if you choose. In Florida, they have true BOGO, the first item rings up $2.39, the second would ring up $0.00, so you need to buy in even numbers to get the best deal.

    • Kristin says:

It is the regular price of one item – so you would save $2.39 or you would get two for $2.39 or if you live in a land of 1/2 price BOGO items one would cost you $1.20 (half of the $2.39). She lists it like that because different Publix have different policies on BOGO. Hope this helps.

    • Kenzi says:

The reason that they ring up at true bogo in Florida is because Florida doesnt have tax on food. All the other states that Publix is in have a tax on food- so they arent allowed to give you one free and to comply with state laws they have to ring up at half off. :-) HTH

  2. Lois says:

yay! thanks Michelle! oh, and there is a $2/1 DiGiorno pizza facebook coupon that was available last week that should work with this sale

    • Angie says:

I was thinking of the same thing! I love when you get pizza, an appetizer, and after coupon and sale pay only $4 for a meal- that’s great!!

  3. robin says:

i believe there’s a Whole foods coupon that will go with the Ben & Jerry’s BOGO sale. Yay for ALMOST free icecream!!!

  4. Jevon says:

The $1/3 Crystal Light Target coupon expired on 5/28..I just cleaned out the binder right before I read the new ad..

  5. Kel says:

looks like a pretty good week for me-FINALLY!! :-) Thank you for all your hard work!!

  6. Kathy says:

I don’t know about y’all, but since my Publix stopped accepting Target coupons, I’ve hardly even shopped there. I love Publix, but our new “competitors” rarely have coupons. I’ve only spent about $8 there in the last month. I miss it!!

    • Chris says:

I still spend plenty there but am also upset about this new policy. Do any of the metro Atlanta stores still do Target as competitor?

      • Anne says:

Since the policy change MORE of my Publix stores are accepting Target. One doesn’t have a Target anywhere near it. I am in Dallas, GA/ W. Cobb area.

        • Emily Long says:

I went to the Publix in Freehome on Hwy 20 a few days ago and they had a sign in the window stating they took Target and Kroger coupons. I do not know if it has changed since then.

        • Amy says:

Same here Anne. Im in Paulding too and Publix stores in my area that didnt take Target q’s before, are now doing so! :D

      • Cassie says:

Yes! The one in Peachtree Corners is in the same shopping center as Target and they do accept Target coupons. So does the one at Holcomb Bridge & Spalding Drive I believe.

      • Lisa says:

Most of the ones in the east Cobb/Marietta area do still take Target.

    • deborah says:

It’s almost a waste to shop there for me. I’m bummed too about them not taking target coupons. Most the stuff I want are good deals after target q’s – I still shop there but I spend a fraction of what I used to :(

      • Dawn says:

Same here. Ours no longer takes Target Qs and there is a Target right behind them!! I am shopping more at Target now and less at Publix.

      • Summer says:

I didn’t know my store took Target coupons until the individual policy sheets came out, and I’ve always done excellent without them. I’m doing better now, but even without Target, Publix still has way better sales than the other stores in my area.

    • Lisa says:

I had to switch Publix stores, so I can use Target coupons.

    • You need to talk with a district manager. I did, and made the point that when they consider only Ingles and Kroger a competitor, they really don’t have a competitor at all!!! ingles and Kroger don’t have coupons I can print and take to the store–it’s mostly coupons I use their plus cards for. So it’s lip service–saying you take competitor’s Qs when you really don’t. he changed the policy!!!

      • Kenzi says:

actually the district manager has to get approval from the regional manager to change competitors so it wasnt really the district manager…. my district manager refuses to change any of the policies- I know this since I work for Publix.

    • Summer says:

I didn’t know my store took Target coupons until the individual policy sheets came out, and I’ve always done excellent without them. I’m doing better now, but even without Target, Publix still has way better sales than the other stores in my area.

  7. Jenn says:

Thanks Michelle! You make saving $$$ so much easier or all of us! :) :)

  8. Denise says:

There is a target coupon ($1/2) koolaid drink mixes on their site.

  9. Bryan says:

6 bucks is the sale price for Digiornos now? Wow

    • Sherri says:

I know what you mean. Heck, even Dominos has a $7.99 large one topping carryout special these days, and I don’t have to make it! :)

    • MrsD05 says:

Pizza prices are just nuts all around. I started making my own a couple of years ago.

Publix pizza dough is $1.99. I always make my own but I saw my mother-in-law make a pizza last week. She spent less than 5 minutes rolling it out and topping it and then it baked for 15 minutes. There is not a pizza place or grocery store around that I could get there and back in 20 minutes.

Plus, it just tastes better. :-)

  10. lisa says:

So glad the great grains cereal is bogo…

  11. Jill says:

Maybe I’m just used to same sales……a year ago I was always excited about the weekly sale and had tons of coupons for stuff I wanted. Lately, the sales bore me and I am saving tons of money by simply not shopping!!

    • Linda says:

I agree, Publix has had terrible ad’s for a few month’s now. I also just do not shop there, I can’t use any of the sale items with coupons, and it seems the items I would like to have do not have coupons. I think this is intentional, and Publix probably lost money due to all the couponing taking place as sights like these have become popular, and due to the extensive campaigning of the show “Extreme Couponing.” It is just not where we live, meaning Publix only, I have spoken to several family members and friends in other states with no Publix, and they too have moticed a tremendous difference in the release of coupons, the face value of coupons, etc…

At this point, I just do minimal shopping at Publix as well as other stores…I simply refuse to pay some of the prices for B1G1, and other items marked up because of economic variables.

      • Wilma says:

I shop at the Phenix City, AL Publix and this is an outstanding Publix with the best manager. However, due to people taking advantage of the coupon offers, they no longer even put their coupon booklets at the front of the store. I went in Sunday and asked if they had the “All American Savings” booklet. The customer service representative told me you now have to ask for the coupon booklets because when they put them out, a few customers take them all and the rest of us are left with none. So, it is a shame that a few extreme couponers hurt us all.

        • Michelle says:

Even if every single person that shopped used coupons they would not lose money. Publix makes 8 cents for every manufactures coupon that is used. A lot of customers do take the books but if you think about it, how many people walk into Publix everyday and pick up a flyer or see a coupon book? I use to all the time and never use them. I don’t have a problem with one person taking all the books or store coupons.
As to the ads, over the last year i noticed that it will be great for months and then not so great. It will be good again

          • Lisa says:

Wow! I have a HUGE problem with one person taking all the booklets, coupons out of blinkies, off of packages they don’t buy and clearing the shelf. I can’t stand selfish people.

          • Melissa says:

How can you say that you “don’t have a problem with one person taking all the books or store coupons”??? You must be one of those people who do!

    • Amie says:

Same here! This ad looks so similar to the last few, I am finding myself double checking the dates! Not a single thing on here for me this week. Many things though that are running low in my pantry and have been waiting for the sales that seem to never come! :o (

      • Haley says:

Exactly! I’m waiting on oatmeal, Frosted mini-wheats, applesauce…and a few others I can’t think of at the moment. Oatmeal especially hasn’t been on sale in months. At least chicken nuggets are BOGO this week:)

        • Summer says:

Oatmeal usually goes on sale around the new year and around the start of a new school year, and rarely any other times. I stock up twice a year because of that.

I’m also waiting on Frosted mini wheats, my daughter loves that new touch of berry.

          • Haley says:

Thanks for letting me know, Summer! Hopefully in late August/early September maybe? I’ve been couponing since about November of last year and since then Oatmeal has been BOGO twice at Publix. I’m actually down to my last box right now.

    • Kathy says:

      Same here!!

    • Lana says:

Looks like Bi-Lo and Aldi will get my money again this week. My Aldi has wonderful fresh produce for everyday prices less than Publix sale prices. Bi-Lo has been having great sales lately and I get Fuel Perks. Glad I still have a good stockpile. Higher and higher prices are no longer justified since gas prices have dropped so much.

    • MrsD05 says:

That could be because you have built up a stockpile now and you never really need anything.

I have been doing this for three years now. I could not shop for a month and probably not run out of any one thing. I think that makes it less exciting.

I am happy to get to stock up on my favorite sweet potato fries for 80 cents a bag, get Egglands Best eggs (the only ones I buy) for $1, get Raspberries for $1 (assuming that they are Driscoll’s) and buy 5 Persian limes for $1.

There is something good in every single ad I’ve seen. You just have to look for it. I think also sometimes we expect to get everything for free. Sometimes that just isn’t possible. I think the Extreme Couponing show has trained people to expect that. If you look at those particular shopping trips you’ll notice that the stores break their own rules in order to be featured on the show (free publicity), the couponers shop differently than they (at least) say they usually do and they are not in any one shopping trip actually buying things that they can feed their families (hello 80 bottles of mustard!)

I just remind myself that it really isn’t that bad to pay for something that I really want. As long as I stay on budget and am feeding my family every day I consider that a success.

    • beckyy says:

I have been shopping with Publix since Jan. and I feel like Crystal Light has been in the ad for almost 2 months straight!!!I thought brands had sale cycles? Could someone who is “seasoned” tell me if this normal? Thanks!

      • MichelleA says:

I assume its because its Summer now! :)

      • Christie says:

It’s summer, A LOT of drinks are going to be on sale… if you lived in Florida??? You’d know why, immediately!! LOL! Its 100 degrees out today, and HUMID, and when you breathe, you breathe in smoke from the fires.. it’s pretty bad right now.. The weather sucks.

      • Anne says:

Yes, the sales will be seasonal. Lots of drinks and frozen treats in the summer and soups and baking goods in the winter.

And I think the Crystal Light has been BOGO on different size containers.

  12. Amanda says:

Robin, I have the Whole Foods B&J coupons too. Along with the (M) coupon from the Sunday paper, they’re super cheap! That was what made me most excited as I went down the list! :D

    • Regina kopeck says:

Didn’t get the ben & jerry’s Q in Tampa!! So Sad :( but I did run over to bay and pick up a few…my hubby is addicted to this….but wasn’t it just BOGO like 5 weeks ago…kinda of seems soon.

  13. Shari says:

Does anyone know if this ad is considered the “4th of July” sales ad or will it be Thurs the 30th? Thanks!!

  14. nikki vann says:

There is a $0.75/1 oscar mayer hotdogs on Targets website also!

  15. Sally says:

-$1.00 off any TWO (2) flavors/varieties LÄRABAR® or JOCALAT® Bars on Whole Foods website, makes them 50 cents.

  16. Candace says:

    Thanks Michelle!

  17. Meg says:

Bob Evans had a $1/1 in a Sunday insert recently (past month)?

  18. jackie102 says:

Thanks so much for the early post! There is a coupon for $1/2 Oscar Meyer Hotdogs on coupons.com or couponbug.com. It will only let you print one and then it disappears. I would get this asap. I don’t think this one will last long.

  19. tampatwinmom says:

an open note to publix, please put goldfish on sale!!! :) happy about the egglands and alexia though- hope the bread is included. softscrub link tells me no coupons at this time :(

    • Jenny says:

Kroger has them priced at $1.00 this week.

    • Haley says:

I agree. We need some goldfish!

    • MrsD05 says:

Not to disappoint you, but from my observations in the past it is either the bread or the sides (like sweet potato fries) that are included in the BOGO.

I am happy to stock up on my favorite sweet potato fries but I need some ciabatta rolls too so I’ll have my fingers crossed. :-)

    • Robin P says:

If you have a Pepperidge Farm store in your area you can get Goldfish year round for less than a $1 a bag most of the time. I bought the bigger boxes for a $1 and the bags for $.50. I also was able to buy all of our hotdog and hamburger buns for $.66 a package. Much better deal than I’ve ever been able to get at Publix.

  20. Donna says:

Is Publix every going to have a good sale again?? Every week when I check the new ad, I think the next week has to be better, but it is not. I use to shop at Publix a lot, but probably once a week now. I am spending more time at WalMart again.

  21. robin says:

Wanna know what makes me super excited? I was waiting for the baby to wake up so I could go use the b10g5 Powerade raincheck I got from Winn-Dixie last week but now I can just wait until Thursday and get them BOGO at Publix. Along with my b10g5 hangtags and $1 off 5 coupons I’m going to get a great deal. My 4th grader just started camp today and she’s going to need A TON of drinks!!! So happy she posted the new ad before I left. THANK YOU

  22. robin says:

I just printed two $1/3 Kellogg’s Cereal Target Coupons. If you buy 6 boxes, use 2-$1/3 target and 3-$1/2 Manufacturer, you only pay $5.95 for all six or less than $1 each. I think that’s a pretty good deal for cereal.

  26. Ashley says:

Any way to print the weekly ad?

  27. robin says:

    Copy. Paste. Print.

  28. April M. says:

Thanks Michelle! I appreciate all the hard work you put into this and how early you post it!
My Publix started taking Target thankfully.

  29. Kimberly says:

Sorry I mean Dixie Crystal Sugar. I have been up way to early with 17 month old triplets to be typing on the computer!

      • Sherri says:

Good grief, woman! Triplets?! I’d be lucky just to be able to remember my own name, much less remember where I’d seen a coupon! Kudos to you! :)

  31. Angie says:

There is also a $1/2 Fresh Express Publix Q that was on vidalia onions about a month ago. It is a peelie and it expires 6/30/11.

Michelle- can you clarify on the Powerade for me? Is it ONLY ION4 and Zero or is the regular ‘full-blooded’ Powerades included? Hubby doesn’t care for that ‘diet nonsense’… LOL! Thank You!!

  32. Rebrekkable says:

Was there a mistake in the size of Betty Crocker Potatoes that are BOGO (says 4.5 to 6.6), or did you not mean to put up the $.50/1 coupon (which is for the 13.75 oz.)?

  33. jameskl78 says:

I spotted A 41/1 geat grains blinkie at Publix and a new Smart savings booklet that matches well withis weeks bogos. There is a .75/1 great grains .55/1 dukes $1/2 solo items and more..Great summer stock up week!

  34. Carol says:

Re: Cape Cod chips. I clicked the link for the Cape Cod chips at smartsource and it printed twice with the same numbers; even the pin number in the upper right hand corner. This has happened several times now, even when I go directly to smartsource and print a coupon. Does anyone know if the second identical coupon is OK to use? What will my store say?! I dread being questioned about a coupon at the register, feel like I did something wrong. Thanks for your help in advance. :)

    • Jenny says:

I would not feel comfortable using it. I would not want my store to think that I was being dishonest. (and I doubt if they would be reimbursed for the duplicate coupon)

    • susanizanurse says:

I just printed 2 of them & the numbers are different on them.

    • Carol says:

Do you know how I can stop it from printing two? It uses two pieces of paper. I hate that it’s using up my ink too. Such an aggravation!

      • Doug says:

You normally will only get two if you repeat the select/print process or if you use the back arrow. If you don’t want two, don’t use the back button on your keyboard. Look for something like a “back to coupons” or “more coupons” link on the screen.

        • Carol says:

Thanks Doug, I didn’t hit anything else except allow app. I didn’t try to go back, nor did I try to print it again, still it prints two. So strange that it does that.

  38. Maggie M. says:

I am excited for Egglands Eggs (it is all we buy now) and the cooking creme! Thanks for all your hard work Michelle you rock!

    • MrsD05 says:

Me too! I love that I save so much money elsewhere that I can be picky and say that I only buy EB eggs! Plus when they are $1 a dozen after the coupon it doesn’t even hurt my budget to do so! :-)

  39. Debbie says:

Just wanted to mention that the coupon I have for the Bob Evans side dishes is for $1 off of 1 item.

  40. Debbie says:

Can someone tell me…when u use a buy 1 get 1 free manufacturer coupon can u use another manufacturer coupon as well for money off.

  41. Ginger says:

Ok, some please refresh my memory on what a retailer coupon is? Manufacture or store?

  42. Tiffany says:

There’s a celebrate motherhood publix coupon for free Gerber 8oz. cereal wyb 1 Good Start Powder (assorted varitiies) 24-25.7oz. It expires on 6/26. This should match up nicely with the other Gerber Coupons.

  43. Kat says:

If anyone else is a member of Curves (gym) they have a coupon book for members that has .50/1 Eggland’s best and I believe a Flatout coupon as well but not sure exactly which Flatout products it’s for.

  44. mons says:

i have a question michelle..i hope u can help me think. about the b1g1 powerade, i have 2 coupons of b10g5 free coupons then i also have 2 1/5 coupons..my calculation of how much is that im going to get 30 but only pay for 10 which is 12.50 minus the 2.00 from 1/5 im going to end up paying 10.50 for 30 bottles…am i right? im from florida…

    • Shanna says:

I’m getting buy 30, pay for 5 less $2. If you buy 30, 15 are FREE from BOGO, and 10 more are FREE from B10G5 q, leaving 5 that you pay for. SO 30 for $4.25.

    • Anne says:

I’m curious about this too. I have the exact same coupons as you do. I’ve just twisted my brain around trying to figure out how it would work. I’m in Alabama though so we don’t get “true” BOGO’s….ours are half off each item.

      • Janet says:

I’m in Alabama and have the same coupon and I believe the way it will work is, we buy 10 use 2 of $1/5 and 1 B10G5 and I believe we will pay $4.25 for 15 or $0.2833 ($4.25/15) each.

        • Anne says:

I see, I think I FINALLY figured it out, lol…Thanks for all the help!! So if I get 30 it will be pay for 15 use the 2 B10G5 Free and the 2 $1/5 coupons. Total of around $10.50 for 30. OR I could just use 1 B10G5 free with the 2 $1/5 and get 15 for $4.25!! Thanks Again for the help!!!

          • Sarah says:

If you are in true BOGO and have 2 Buy 10 Get 5 Free coupons, buy 30. 15 are free from the sale and 10 more are free from the coupons. You also could use 4 of the $1/5 because you are technically buying 20. Too bad Gatorade never goes BOGO. My husband doesn’t like Powerade much.

    • mons says:

thanks shanna…now how about if im also only going to use 1 b10g5 coupon without the 1/5 coz i only have one computer right now i cant print more than two coupons..my husband love this drink he have one everyday and i want to stack up so im going to make two transactions..my 2nd one is im only using 1 of the b10g5…how does this work? should i get 5 then get another 5 free for the sale and other 5 for the free from my coupon?. coz my first question..the coupons are a pair and i remember i use the same technique on this weeks sale for the duncan hines…but the one coupon is kinda more confusing…please help me again..

Crystal Light was B0G0 $3.99 last week and BOGO $2.99 this week?! Is this an error?

    • Publix Chick says:

Nope. Last week was the canisters. This week if the little packets you put in your water bottle. They are cheaper.

  47. Carrie C says:

Here is a BOGO coupon for the Bob Evans side dishes. I saw it on Coupons Make it Free on facebook the other day. Here is the post.

  51. Gwen says:

Thanks for all the helpful tips and hints, but…. I am feeling like some of the others–the ads have become boring. I see Kraft BOGO so often. Kellogg’s BOGO…Same coupons same ads. I wonder if it is just my imagination and what formula Publix uses when deciding BOGO. I really don’t shop at other stores so I don’t even know what to compare it to.

    • Heather says:

Well, I have no reason to complain. The BOGO’s are things I want or need to buy, so they don’t bother me. But everyone has different needs.

  52. robin says:

I’m curious. This is not being asked in a condescending tone at all. To the people saying that the ads are getting boring, what WOULD you like to see on sale? I’ve only been following Iheartpublix for a few months so I don’t know what the ads used to look like. Were they really that different before? Personally, I would like to see some BOGO soups but that’s all I can think of right now.

    • nancy says:

Usually soups are on sale more in the winter months! I like those sales and the Italian days sales.. stock up on Canned tomatoes and I love when frozen veggies are really cheap!!
      !!

    • Jill says:

I would love to see non-sugary cereal BOGO. I eat cereal every morning, but it’s Kellogs All-Bran, Fiber One or Kashi Go Lean. There is alway cereal on BOGO, but usually the terrible ones for you that I cannot justify eating. Stock up items like tomato sauce, broth, canned tomatoes…….

    • Arica says:

I would love to see healthier, organic items on sale every once in a while. My family eats mostly organic, so I am unable to buy most things on sale. Greenwise products do go sale, but rarely.

  53. Nellie says:

Hey I looked through my Red Plums 6/5/11 and I didn’t get the Purdue Nuggets coupon in there? Anyone find them in yours?

  54. Marci Campbell says:

  57. Jennifer M says:

Woohoo, I needed more betty crocker potatoes. We are OUT!

  58. Michael says:

The Betty Crocker coupons printed $1/2 for me! They are only cost around .30 a box!

  59. Dana says:

Quick question… I have both a 1.50/1 Philadelphia Cooking Creme wyb chicken AND a 1.50/1 Chicken wyb Cooking Creme. I know the wyb qs only attach to the item that’s getting the cents off… so could i use both coupons?

  60. robin says:

Almost positive you can use both. Let’s see what others say.

  61. Lynn says:

When there is a BOGO item and you have $1/2 coupon….for example this weeks hot dogs…there is a $1/2 Publix coupon and $1/2 from RP insert can you combine these or no? I am confused how these work. Thanks everyone for the help!

    • Jennifer says:

Yes! You CAN combine those. :-)

    • diane says:

I was in Publix today and got the scoop on the “new coupon policy”. You are allowed 1 Publix and 1 manufacturer coupon per item, if you only have manufacturers coupons then 1 per item. Each Publix accepts competitor coupons, each store is different so see store for which competitors they accept, should be posted on the store front window. If it is a BOGO item then you can use 1 coupon per item, or 1 publix and 1 manufacturers per item even though the 1 is free it is still eligible for coupon use. I hope this helps, I was confused a bit by the policy myself but the manager explained it to me :)

Buy 4 for $10 use 2 BOGO coupons for $5 off and then use 2 $1/1 Manuf coupons for a total of $3 for 4 side dishes.

    • mons says:

i sign up for thier email alerts but they never send me any coupon….gay…

      • Jennifer says:

Wow. The end of your comment is inappropriate, immature, and offensive. Way to go!

      • Michele says:

Please do not use a particular group/minority as an insult or slur. Would you say “that’s so black” or “that’s so Mexican” or “that’s so Jewish” to mean that something is stupid or lame? There is a reason why GLBTQ youth have a much higher rate of suicide than straight/perceived to be straight youth. Words have power.

If you would like to discuss this off-thread I would be happy to.

        • Kenzi says:

JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE SAYS THE WORD GAY DOESNT MEAN THEY ARE REFERRING TO THE HOMOSEXUAL. HONESTLY YOU PEOPLE HAVE WAYYYYYY TOOOOOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS TO CALL SOMEONE OUT ABOUT THAT ON A COUPON WEBSITE!!!

          FROM DICTIONARY.COM:

          gay? ?/ge?/
          [gey]
          adjective, -er, -est, noun, adverb
          –adjective

thanks shanna for helping me…i have another question…i have another coupon of the same but only 1 of the b10g3 free for powerade ..i wanted to make another transaction for this coz my husband love this drink so im stacking it..how does it work with the bogo and my b10g5 coupon ? im from florida with the true bogo…

  65. Katie Mc. says:

Someone may have already posted, but when I clicked on Bob Evans Rolling, the webpage it took me to had me sign up… this morning they emailed me coupon for BOGO Bob Evans Side Dishes. They are 2/$5 this wk, so that makes a nice deal, too :)

  66. Sarah says:

I was wondering what is the rockbottom price at which to buy Kelloggs cereal? I thought cereal for it to be a stock up price needed to be 1.00 or less.

    • Cheryl says:

Michelle’s stockup price depends on price trends over time…

Your stockup price depends on you

My stockup price is probably higher than many others because I am in Florida where they don’t double…

  67. robin says:

sarah. If I needed to stock up on Kellogs cereal this is what I would do. I live in an area with true BOGO and no doubles.

I would buy 6 boxes at $10.95. That’s 3 at full price ($3.65 a box) and 3 free. Then I would use 3 of the $1 off 2 kellogs cereals from 6/5 RP and 2 of the $1 off 3 kellogs TARGET coupon (it’s still there, I just checked)

You will pay $5.95 for all six boxes. Hope your store takes Target as a competitor. Good luck

  68. Christie says:

I am SOOO freaking excited about the LARGE packages of Lysol wipes being BOGO! YAY!!!!! :)
    Also, happy about:

    Post GREAT GRAINS!!! Ahhhhh!!! :)
Crystal Light Drink mix! YESS! :) (Use when I jog everyday)
Duke’s Mayo (Dad takes sandwiches for lunch EVERY single day) This stuff goes QUICK, and with the Publix Q, it makes for a great deal..

ONE good thing about a (what others are calling) crappy week, is that you can focus on the Yellow buy flyer! :) I always do that.. We have never been under $100. Sometimes I can’t believe how much people who spend over $30 complain. You guys do GREAT!!! Stop worrying so much :) It won’t KILL ya to pay full price will it? lol Just joking around.. but really, don’t sweat a “crappy” week, dig some goodies from your amazing stockpile and take a break from couponing. That’s what I would do, if I could! We run out of four boxes of cereal in a week, go through 11 gallons of milk a week, and constantly have to shop. We can’t get ahead, even when we buy SIX boxes of FAMILY SIZE Triscuits. (They were BOGO last week) We are still going to have to get some Ritz this upcoming week, so we will have crackers through the month.. It is very hard to keep up, much less try to GET AHEAD. You guys are LUCKY things last you so long, and you have such a low bill and everything. For others it is much harder, and I must say I’m so jealous! HAHA! :)
    Happy Shopping everyone. Stay smiling.

    • mons says:

christie..you rock..i agree with you girl…theres only 4 of us here in the house and florida doesnt double coupons but i still save a lot…and 5 gallons of milk just for my mother in law hehehe…and a lot of goodies for my hubby …

      • Christie says:

        Hah! Thanks mons! :)

And oh YES, Florida and no doubles really SUCKS! I was wanting a “double coupon” store so bad when those Nature Valley Granola bars were BOGO last week(the family size) for $5.99. All I had was a .50 coupon. We got two boxes and they are gone.. already! We got them on Wednesday of last week! lol 24 granola bars, POOF, GONE!!!!! (See what I mean about keeping up!) It’s impossible…
It’s always nice to hear about the others who still save, I mean WE DEFINITELY SAVE!!! A LOT, but we always spend a lot too, is all. :)
P.S. – My love and his goodies go so fast HAHA, I know all about having to buy the fatty foods too! I’m diabetic so I just have to buy them, sometimes it’s like torture! LOL!

    • Melissa says:

*Gasp* – 11 gallons of milk each week? Just out of curiosity, how many people in your family?

  69. Ruth says:

The olive oil was a great deal for BOGO when the regular price was $6.something. Now the regular price is over $12? It sure is expensive to eat healthy!

    • Christie says:

Good Olive Oil is worth every penny! As an Italian, I will ALWAYS pay whatever I need to for GOOD quality Olive Oil :)

LOL (I’m being honest though, haha)

    • Randi says:

Stuck in Florida too…..Thinking of doing a little shopping when we go up north for a graduation :) That’s what a truck bed is for right? I just want to see coupons double and get a penny item after reading about them for 2+ years.

    • Kari Eso says:

if i’m not mistaken the sizes are different.

  70. robin says:

The 16oz olive oil was $6 BOGO about 2 weeks ago. The one that’s $12 BOGO this week is the 32oz size.

  71. Jessica F says:

Just wanted to say that the donation sheet coupons are not publix coupons, they are all manuf. Q’s! Hope this helps!

  72. Kristen says:

I’m curious about the flyers…is that something you can pick up in store, or are they mailed out? Same question with the booklets.

  73. kristen jordan says:

Albertsons has a coupon in their weekly flyer for 4.00/4 participating General Mills products including Chex mix:) for those that Albertsons is considered a competitor…

  74. Robin P says:

Can someone help me with this? I have a Publix BOGO Q on Philly Cooking Cream, a Publix $1/1 and a Publix $.75/1 as well as two manufacture Q’s for $1/1. How many cooking creams can I buy and how much should all of this run me? Thanks.

    • Robin P says:

Actually it’s three manufacture Q’s for $1/1 the Publix BOGO and a Publix $.75/1. Had to recheck them.

  75. robin says:

Use 1 Publix BOGO Q, 2 of the $1/1 manufacturers Q’s and 1 of the $.75/1 Publix Q. You’ll go home with 2 cooking creams and an extra $.75 (if your store allows overage) I live in a true BOGO area and no doubles. There might be a different scenario for you if you live in a 1/2 price BOGO and a store that doubles.

    • Jennifer P says:

The Publix BOGO Q’s I have say “retailer coupon” not Publix coupon. 2 weeks ago I bought 2 and used the BOGO Q and the woman that was checking me out (who happened to be a manager) said I could only use the BOGO Q and 1 Manufacturer $1 off coupon b/c the BOGO Q was not a Publix coupon, it just says redeem at Publix.

  76. Barbara says:

there is a $0.70 off Q for Kelloggs Corn Pops on their website kelloggs.com.
there is also a $0.75 off Q for Kleenex Cottonelle Toilet Paper 6ct in the Publix Smart Savings booklet.

  77. Alexandra says:

Nothing organic on sale, not a good week for me!

  78. Nikki says:

There is a Publix (not manufacturer) coupon for $2/2 Lysol Wipes in the “Sweet Summer Savings” booklet valid May 26-June 30. Pair two of those with two of the manufacturers coupons from 6/12/2011 SS Insert (exp 7/12/2011) and you get 4 for $1 each!
I don’t know about you, but I have two children under the age of 5….we use disinfecting wipes like crazy!

(BTW…I’m in the Huntsville, AL area)

    • Laura says:

      I checked this… its clorox wipes! :( PS- I’m in Birmingham :)

    • Crystal says:

Our walmart has the Lysol wipes that the manufacturer packaged as a bogo. If you buy 2 (which would be 4 bottles total) and use the 1/2 coupon then you can get them for a dollar a can there too. They were priced at 2.48 each. So maybe if you need more and didn’t have anymore of the publix coupons you can check your store.

  79. Amy says:

Does anyone have a clue when BC muffin Mix will go BOGO? I have patiently waiting and it seems to have been forever since they last went BOGO!

    • Jessica says:

I’m with you! I’m tired of making muffins from scratch (although it has been nice that berries have been so cheap–fresh blueberry muffins are hard to beat.) I’m starting to stock up for a week at the beach and I definitely don’t want to be making muffins from scratch on vacations!

  80. cathy says:

Can someone help me? Is it the Lysol wipes on sale or is it the clorox wipes on sale?

  81. Meredith says:

There is also a coupon at target for the oscar meyer hotdogs B3G1.

  82. shanda says:

i have a question, i have a coupon for the powerade that is going to be on sale bogo and my coupon is a mf coupon that states that if you buy 10 you get 5 free, so i know that i am going to really only pay for 5 in total out of a case of 15. which should put me around $6.25 per case of 15 drinks, but is there any other coupon that i can use with this deal?

    • shanda says:

and also i forgot to say that the drinks are on sale for bogo at $1.25 each

    • Crystal says:

There are 1 off wyb 5 powerade coupons out. So I assume if you buy 15 powerades you will get 2 off the first 10 and the last 5 for free. How much were they? hmmmm… are you in FL? FL BOGOs confuse me with BOGO coupons that are multiple qty things LOL… if you’re in another state and they are bogo for 1.25 that would make them 62 cents each..
      so 15×62=9.30
      value of Bogo coupon 5×62=3.10
      value of (2) 1/5 coupons = 2
      9.30 – 3.10 – 2 = 4.20 /15 = 28 cents each
But are you sure your buy 10 get 5 is for powerade. I have a coupon like that but its for gatorade.
Hope I did that math right

      • Anne says:

I have the B10G5 for both Powerade and Gatorade.

The Powerade B10G5 takes off $5.00 (sweet if you are in 1/2 price BOGO like me)

        I did:

        $0.62 x 15 = $9.30
        - B10G5 ($5.00)
        - (2) $1/5 Q
        = $2.30 or $0.15 each!!

    • mons says:

i went to publix this morning and bought 60 bottles of powerade..i made two transactions which is 30 each transaction and since im in florida which has the true bogo, i use 2 b10g5 coupons and 2 1/5 coupons and i only pay for 5 bottles..then minus the 2.oo….though the sale price is 1.25, the coupon will only automatically take out 5bucks so im short 1.00 for every 30 bottles…buts its ok…its already cheap.

  83. Lag2a1979 says:

This was my first time couponing at Publix. I had 4 deals with a blinkie or tearpad (Softsoap, Eggland’s Best, Digornio, and Activia) and my store didn’t have any of the tearpads or blinkies! I asked at customer service and they said that it was controlled by the vendor. Are some Publix better than others? I was quite sad!

Don’t count on blinkies/peelies or anything like that to be there when you shop. It’s nice to find them, but you don’t know how long ago that blinkie/peelie/etc was put out since many of the peelies/blinkies etc don’t expire for long periods of time – they may have been in the store 6 months ago and happen to apply to this weeks sales.

      • Lag2a1979 says:

        Got it! Thanks :)

        • Katie says:

Make it a habit to grab blinkies whenever you see them and hold onto them in your binder/file/whatever you use- often you’ll see a product on sale later on and you will be glad you did (like the post cereal for this week, the blinkie is no longer there but it was about a month or 2 ago)

  84. robin says:

Shanda, look up at the top of this post where the powerade is listed. There’s a link to a $1/5 powerade. You can use 2 of those along with the b10g5 hangtag

Nutrigrain bars are not showing as BOGO in my ad here in Central Florida. Anyone else? These are my 2 year old’s favorite snack and I have been out for almost a month :(

    • Kristin says:

I picked some up this morning at my store in Lakeland. I just scanned my ad, but didn’t see them listed in it.

      • Quen says:

Where they’re listed in the ad, it’s easy to miss them. In the ad they are listed under the Kellogg’s cereal ( in very small print ) and above the Betty Crocker potatoes. Hth

  89. Chris says:

Just a little FYI…the coupon for Cape Cod chips is $1 off 2 bags not one. Hope this helps someone :)

  90. Kristin says:

The Herbal Essence 2/$5 includes the 12 oz. shampoo or conditioner, however I found conditioner bottles that included 40% more, making them 17 oz. for the same price. It was quite a welcomed surprise on the trip this morning!

  91. Kaley Boogs says:

I need some help on a coupon scenario:
2-$1 off 2 Betty Crocker potatoes
4-$1 off chicken wyb Betty crocker potatoes
$5 off a 12 pack beer and $10 premium meat

If I buy 4 potatoes, $10 chicken and 12 pack beer can I use all of the coupons? I’m not sure which coupons “attach” to which items.

  92. Jerri says:

I am soooo mad at the stores near me in Georgia…they have stopped taking Target q’s even when the Target is in the same shopping center!

    • Kris says:

Call headquarters or email the regional manager. Mine did the same thing but now they switched and are taking Target again! =)

  95. Jessica says:

The web coupon for Rosetto pasta is no longer available (even though the Rosetto website still advertises it on their front page). Grr!!

  96. Meredith says:

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but lots of Kelloggs coupons for this weeks BOGO ($1/2 for frosted flakes) at kelloggs.com

  97. Michelle says:

Just a technical note: Several of the coupon links included in this ad post when left-clicked, open up on the current window instead of automatically opening up a new tab/window. I have not noticed this happening before, so just a heads up to Michelle or whoever adds the coupon matchups to the weekly ad. Usually the coupon IP links open up in a new tab and so there’s no need to hunt down the weekly ad matchup page again and again. I know that it’s probably a good habit to right click on the links and request a new tab be opened, but this actually is the first time I have ever noticed it happening more than once on the same ad matchup. (I hope this makes sense – regretfully, I’m not a computer geek and know nothing of hyperlinking!).

  98. Traci says:

Please help! I usually know what I am doing…but I keep changing my mind on how this will work…what is the right scenario?

Lets say a product is not on sale, and is $1.00 each. I have a MANUFACT coupon for BOGO. I then have a Publix STORE coupon for BOGO.

Would they BOTH be free? I thought so, but then I thought wait…I am not BUYING One, so how can I possibly get one free? I guess I just cant understand this well enough to be able to plead my case…should there be a prob…and there will be LOL

  99. Kim says:

Did not read through all comments so this may have already been addressed but the 2/2 coupon from Sweet Summer Savings is not for Lysol wipes in my book, it’s Clorox wipes. I was oh so excited until I went to clip the coupon. :-(

  104. Steve says:

PLEASE FIX THE LINK to the “-$2/2 Lysol Wipes Publix “Sweet Summer Savings” booklet (exp 6/30)” because it is a Clorox Wipes coupon and NOT a Lysol Wipes coupon.

For anyone having a problem printing the Betty Crocker coupons or is getting a ‘you’ve reached your print limit message’; I had the same problem with all of the links and haven’t printed in months, I switched to IE and was able to print with no problem. You might want to give it a try.

  106. robin says:

    • Cheryl says:

You found an unadvertised sale. Michelle usually notices these too and put them in her “Happy Report” each week.

  109. Beverly says:

I cannot print coupns from the Target website. I download the coupon print program, but get a message that the program is not a valid Win 32 program. My husband has tried for an hour or more to fix it with no luck. I’ve resinstalled dozens of times!! Anyone else have this problem…if so, has anyone been able to figure out how to print from the site?? Thank you!!

    • Milena says:

I’ve tried multiple computers and multiple browsers, and the only combination that works for me to print Target coupons is a Windows PC and Internet Explorer.

    • Sherry says:

go to java.com and download java… or update your java. I have had this happen to me in the past and when I updated my java it started working. HTH

    • Godspeed says:

Hi, I have not experienced that problem, but have found in the past if I need a program I can go to downloads.com and searching there for programs. It is a very safe site. Hope that helps.

  110. robin says:

Beverly, are you using Internet Explorer? I’ve heard of people having trouble with different programs. Try Google Chrome or Firefox. Also someone mentioned making sure Java and Adobe are up to date. I use Google Chrome at my house without any problems but was not able to print from Target at my dad’s house the other day (he uses Internet Explorer) HTH

Hi there! I am not sure if anything has already been posted about this deal at Publix, but I figured I would share! There are several coupons floating around right now for this deal, so I am listing all of the ones I am aware of for a “best case scenario” purchase & savings! :)

Purchase 6 boxes of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal (with Cars 2 Movie Promo label on front of each box)
Purchase 2 gallons of Publix brand milk

    Coupons available to use:
    $1.00/2 Rice Krispies cereal (printable)
$1.00/2 Any Kellogg’s Brand cereal (peelies found on several boxes of Kellogg’s cereals right now)
    $1.00/3 Any Kellogg’s Brand cereals (from SS-6/05)
$1.00/3 Any Kellogg’s Brand cereals (Target printable coupon- for those of you who have a Target within 5 miles of your Publix store)
FREE gallon of milk w/purchase of 3 boxes of Rice Krispies cereal (Publix coupon found in this month’s Yellow Flyer)
$5 off any $30 Purchase (Publix coupon peelie found on the cover of most Sunday Newspapers on 6/26)

    Best case scenario:
Get 6 boxes of cereal and 2 gallons of milk for $12.00 plus tax. AND you will have 6 Cars Movie Codes (for every 4 codes you get, you get a $5 gas card!!) I have been making sure that every box of cereal I purchase right now has the Cars 2 movie logo on it! Can’t beat free gas!!

Box#2 $1/2 Rice Krispies, $1/1 Silk, $1/2 poptarts, $1OFF Fresh produce when you buy two kellogs cereals :D and $1/2 Nutrigrain bars… Might go back before thursday to get 2 more nutrigrain bars and fresh produce with coupons. YAY! :D

I had the $0.75 coupon for Mueller’s pasta that was mentioned on this site about a month ago and they have that BOGO this week. After the coupon and the BOGO price, one box of pasta cost me 3 cents!! Also, I used a $1.50/2 coupon I had for Friskies cat treats, plus each cat treat package had a peel off coupon for a free can of cat food, so I paid a little over a dollar total for 2 pkgs of treats plus 2 cans!! I love coupons! I love this site too, thanks for all the great tips.
