Publix Weekly Ad & Coupon Matchups 5/19 – 5/25 (5/18 – 5/24)

May 16, 2011

Here is the sneak peek of the Publix ad that begins 5/19 (5/18 for some). Let me know if you find additional coupons and I will get them added  :-)

Remember this is the metro Atlanta version of the ad. Be sure to check your ad for any variations.

When you see the checkmark stockpile button13 Publix Weekly Ad & Coupon Matchups 5/19 5/25 (5/18 5/24) – those items are either a great stockpile price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling, so if your store doesn’t double it may not be a stock up price for you.

    • Carrie C says:

I signed up but it isnt allowing me to find the coupon

      • Ashley says:

It should be emailed to you. They said it can take up to 2 hours.

      • Crystal says:

i was confused about a month ago when I did this… seemed like they email you and then you follow the link back to the site to find the coupon or something like that.. I remembered it having to do with them sending something in email anyway hth

      • Happywife says:

Mine came to my inbox within a minute! I used a Yahoo email address. I don’t know if that makes it come faster :) Don’t get discouraged, it should still come.

  7. Kristin says:

Grrrr! Bad ad for me. Need some Diet Pepsi though.

  8. Lana says:

I was telling hubby this AM that I have spent almost no grocery $$ this month because of the crummy sales. Looks like I’ll be continuing that trend. What a crummy ad!!

  9. Amy says:

On the wishbone dressing, there is the $2 store coupons from Great Deals on Great Meals and there is a manuf $1/2 coupon in the Albertsons ad (with no store logo).

    MONEY MAKER !!!

  10. Brandy says:

Wish I would have waited to get the pasta now and not from Winn Dixie the other week! I could have paid less than half the price! UGH!! Thanks again for all your effort each week. I check this site often! Love it!!

  11. Brandy says:

Oh forgot to post something…the Boca burgers are actually tasty with some A1 on it! Give it a try if you never have!

  12. elizabeth says:

This ad does kinda stink. Come on Publix. Give us something to be excited about besides the new coupon policy!…notice sarcasm :)

  13. nikki vann says:

$2.00 off any 3 Dr.pepper varieties 12pk. in yellow flyer

  14. Rachel C. says:

Thanks, Michelle. It is a stinky ad, isn’t it? Maybe next week will be better.

  15. Lois says:

there is a $1/1 on Pedigree Dentastix in the Who Loves you? booklet that will make these free!

    • Tracy says:

      Thanks for the match!

    • Megan says:

Awesome! Does anyone understand the wording on the Publix q “one deal per coupon per customer”? If we can use 2 store q’s and 2 manu q’s then it will be a $1 moneymaker.

      • jennifer says:

If it says one deal per coupon per customer, you can only use one publix coupon no matter how many you buy in that transaction for that item. If it just says one deal per coupon you can use as many as the items you have of that product.
One deal per coupon per customer – I am buying 2 – I can only use one publix coupon with that wording, but I can use 2 manufacture coupons.
One deal per coupon – I am buying 2 – I can use 2 publix coupons and 2 manufacture coupons.

        • Doug says:

I don’t think so. I think this is standard wording on Publix Qs. Some stores limit the number of same Publix Qs, others don’t. Mine has never limited similar Publix Qs.

          • Carrie says:

My store manager told me today that she is trying to get all this clarified from corporate before the 5/23 effective date. Like I told her, if it is only 1 per transaction then people standing behind me will not be happy about me having to split my transactions (meaning all the non-couponers out there). That is the store’s concern as well, so here’s hoping that corporate will allow more than one per transaction.

          • Megan says:

Mine never has either, but now with the new policy going into effect the 23rd I don’t want to do anything wrong, and they will probably start looking at the wording more closely.

        • Megan says:

This is what I thought, thank you!

        • michelle says:

A deal is an individual item. So 1 deal per coupon= one item per coupon per customer. Publix just doesnt want people writing “x4″ on a coupon. It means you have to phyically have a coupon per item that you want to use it on.

    • J says:

In my Who loves you? booklet the coupons are expired.

  16. Wendy says:

What is the price of the Perdue Fit & Easy chicken breasts?

  17. bethany says:

Has anyone heard the details about the new coupon policy. I was told by one of my managers in Chattanooga last week that there would be major changes. She said that the three stores in our area did three or more times the coupons than the Atlanta stores did. I’ve been waiting to hear more. If it has been discussed, I missed it and would like to know. Thanks.

    • Lana says:

There was a post about it last week. You should be able to find it if you search for it.

    • elizabeth says:

There will only be 2 coupons per item and my store in alabama is only accepting 3 stores as competitors!

      • Lisa says:

They were handing the new policy out at my publix but it doesn’t start until may 23, nothing has changed at my publix at all. It is just written on paper now. Thank god! I am jacksonville, fl.

      • Kari Eso says:

my store in AL is only taking three competitors also, which is huge to me considering I just bought a bunch of booklets from a school with $5/$50 Star Market sheets in it.

I guess I will be walking up to everyone at checkout on May 23rd and distributing my coupons so that they do not go to waste. Maybe I can get the local news to cover it so that Publix can have something to go to Corporate about in order to get it changed.

It’s worth a shot and I may as well share with my fellow man instead of watching them all turn into a pile of rubbish.

        • michelle says:

Corporate made this policy and picked the competitors for each store! They are NOT going to change this policy.

    • lisa terry says:

The only thing that the decatur, al store has changed is in our favor. The 5 off 25 savalot coupon can now be combined with a publix “dollars off” coupon as well..:)

    • Renee says:

I meant to check in w/ the Hixson Pike store…they have always been much more lenient than the E Brainerd Rd store. but in reading the policy, i saw no real changes for us here. We’ve always only been able to use 2 coupons (manu and competitor) per item on HIxson Pike. If I go today I’ll find out for sure. :)

    • Kristin says:

I just came back from Publix and they have a PRINTED paper with the policy on one side and a list of competitors for that specific store on the other. It is a little square about 4 inches x 4 inches and it was sitting all by its lonesome on the CS desk.

  18. Lana says:

There was a $1/1 Smart Balance spread or milk this AM on Redplum. I don’t know the zip.

  19. Patricia S says:

I will pick up a couple of things, but nothing super-exciting this week. That is okay, time to save a little extra $.

  20. Rebecca says:

Where do you get the Pharmacy book that has the $5/2 Centrum/Caltrate Q in it? This would be great this week too with the Centrum sale & the high value MFR coupons from yesterday’s paper….

  21. Maureen says:

If you still have the BOGO Pepsi 12 packs from facebook a while back you will get 2 packs FREE. At least here in Florida. Combine with the YAB PQ and that’s a MM!

    • Brigitte says:

I have 3 of those q’s. But aren’t they for the throwback package? Are those even still around? I hope that q will work for this deal.

      • Lois says:

I have that too, and they are for the throwback, so we’ll have to see if that’s available & included

        • Lana says:

I have seen the Throwback packs at my store recently so they are still around. Thanks for the reminder!

          • Maureen says:

Thanks, I’m posting from work and don’t have the Q in front of me. I hope the throwback is included! Fingers Crossed!!!!!!

  22. mary says:

    thank you very much!!!!!

  23. tracy says:

    Another pitiful ad this week!

  24. Holly L. says:

There is a $1/3 ANY Kellogg’s cereal 10 oz. or larger coupon here:

    http://www2.kelloggs.com/Coupon.aspx?id=1992

    :D

  25. Melissa says:

There is a .50 off any Blue Diamond product coupon thye their web site.

  26. Brigitte says:

Cottonelle q’s are all gone :(

  27. Cinnamon says:

OMG!!! I’m actually going to skip Publix all together this week. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I can’t find one thing in this ad that I need. Oh well. I guess I’ll take my grocery money this week and buy a new pair spring sandals!!! Thanks Michelle. #publixshopperforlife

  28. SM says:

    Target coupons on website

    $1/2 Lipton Tea
    $1/3 M&M
    $2/2 Ore-ida potato

    • J says:

Our new coupon policy excludes Target! I’m so upset and the Target is in the same shopping center as Publix!

      • Megan says:

Ours does too :( If there’s a super good deal that requires a Target q I’ll just have to drive to the Publix 5 minutes further. Have you tried calling any of your other local Publix to see which competitors they take?

  29. SM says:

    YAB

FREE Gallon Milk wyb 3 Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops or Apple Jacks 12.2 oz+

  30. Maggie M. says:

Thank you for your hard work Michelle you rock!

  31. Danielle says:

This weeks ad might be worse than last weeks. Looks like I’m shopping elsewhere!

  32. Holly L. says:

There is a $1 off Publix Crispy Chicken Fritters 25 oz. bag in the Family Style (Summer) Booklet!

  33. Noelle says:

Dr. Pepper is a Coke Product:)

    • Jenn says:

It depends on what region you are. Some places Dr. Pepper is bottled by Coke, some places it is bottled by Pepsi.

      • Andrea says:

How do you know if Dr. Pepper in your area is considered a coke or pepsi product?

        • Kristin says:

You can tell by the sale tags on the shelf – or ask at CS if it is included. (Also in relation to where it is stocked on the soda aisle – with Coke or with Pepsi.) I know – not scientific but it works – LOL

    • Kristin says:

Actually Dr. Pepper can be a coke or pepsi product – depending on the area you live in – they contract with either coke or pepsi to bottle it and thus can be either. Just depends on where you live.

    • michelle says:

Dr Pepper is bottled by its own company so it is not Coke or Pepsi!

  34. Jennifer G. says:

Wow, I normally look forward to Monday’s ad. But this one is disappointing! Time to visit Iheartkroger, I guess! ;)

  35. Christie says:

I am STOKED about this ad!!!!!!! I’m surprised everyone is so upset. BUT, we have ZERO bottles of bbq sauce in our house right now. THAT’S RIGHT ZERO! lol. We always need cereal and this is a great ad for that! And whooo hoooo my dad needs sugar, and Domino just mailed me a $1.00 off coupon and a .50 off coupon, AND we need his fruit cups. I’m excited. :)

    THANKS MICHELLE!

  36. sherrylou says:

There is a peelie Save $2 on one 8qt canister of Country time or Kool-aid drink mix when you buy two bottles of kraft barbeque sauce 18 oz.

  37. Sally says:

Very slow week for me, :( . Hopefully next week will be better. I only see 1 thing I want, the Chinet napkins.

  38. Debbie says:

About 4 to 6 weeks ago, my Publix had a Liberte yogurt demo and was handing out coupons…Buy 5 Get $1 off…just wanted to let you know that they were out there…not sure if all of the Publix stores were doing this.

  39. Debbie says:

I have some peelies that were taken off of Blue Diamond Almonds a couple months ago…some of you may still have these in your stash…coupon is 75 cents off 2 6 oz. cans of Blue Diamond Almonds.

  40. Melanie says:

Spring Family Gatherings has .55/1 Hungry Man frozen meals store coupon, no restrictions on the coupon either. So, .75 a meal is pretty good!

    • Melanie says:

Oh bummer… it’s already expired. :( Never mind.

      • gayla says:

ask ur store, mine will accept publix coupons for a few days after they expire. you might be able to use them still. :)

        • Carrie says:

According to my store’s manager, this is one of the things that will be changing. Our store had allowed you to use an expired coupon up to the following Saturday because each Saturday night is when they turn in their coupons. Starting on the 23rd they won’t be doing that anymore. They already didn’t accept Publix coupons (with an LU#) after the expiration date and now that will be true for manufacturer coupons as well.

  41. Holly L. says:

There is also a $1/2 Quick Cook Ronzoni in SS 4/10!

  42. Megan says:

I have been thinking the ads are weak since right before the long Easter ads. I NEED Fiber Once cereal to go on sale! It hasn’t been on sale since February, seems like longer than the regular cycle. If my husband ate Frosted Flakes, it would be no problem! I am sure I will still find plenty to put in my cart, I always do!

  43. chad says:

so I guess that will be a 1.00 moneymaker on the dentastix?

    3.00 BOGO
    minus
    (2) 1.00 manufact
    (2) 1.00 Publix

  44. Betsy says:

All you folks without much to buy—the corn has been really tasty this year, and at 4/$1, it’s a great price!

Whole chicken is at a great price, too. Publix chicken isn’t my favorite, but for $1.19, I’ll deal with it.

    • Lisa says:

I didn’t care much for Publix whole chix. Then I tried the GreenWise – it is on sale for $1.99 lb. Buy one just to try – its organic and the flavor is out of this world. i don’t use any flavors with it other than chopped onions and garlic over it in a baking dish – I roast them whole. Every member of my family can tell the difference between the GreenWise and the regular. They complain when I give them a “regular” chicken.

      • Betsy says:

I usually drive an hour and a half to the country (aka Athens, GA–LOL) to buy Sanderson Farms chicken. But, if I haven’t been there in a while, I make due with Publix or Bell and Evans. What can I say? I like my chicken. LOL

  45. maria says:

well guys…. I think you’ll be very happy for me…I’M ABOUT TO FALL OUT OF MY CHAIR !!!! OMG !! I have Multiple Sclerosis & there is something that I eat that helps with the 7-day a week flu-like symptoms (a feeling of fever from head to toe from the inside out kinda thing). I’ve never found them on sale or a coupon for them. I spend a large fortune on them each week…. I even wrote the company for coupons & as to why I eat them so much, but no response…..
IT’S THE POPSICLES !!! OMG !! they are gonna be on BOGO !!!! oh happy, happy, happy me !!! I buy the sugar free ones because I eat so many to keep my fever down… OH WOW !! I’M SO HAPPY!! I would throw out meat for these popsicles… LOL, LOL. Oh what to do now ?… no room in the freezer. Hummm?? better get to cooking some vegetable steamers to make room for POPSICLES !!! a Fun & “Necessary” Non-Prescription Medication for me. Oh happy, happy, joy, joy….(don’t take much to make me happy) wheeeeeeeeeee :0) :0) ;0)

  46. Holly L. says:

There is also a $1/3 any Kellogg’s cereal TARGET coupon here:

    http://coupons.target.com/mcp/pd.cfm?encp=bw3Edh8NsU3vzmfu%2BCqxk1gE5kAdfbx6dC45DH8m6FuvNQDwYVl3xOH31DkRj79yzb%2BSNmiA401WHlWqjyCjvvny2xPe0pynaNV0icYl4wzjnjxzsDi9Jw%3D%3D

If your store still considers TARGET a competitor, it can be stacked with the MQ’s for a good deal.

the .50/1 coles coupons are back on their website to print, but it wouldnt print for me. It might for some of you though. good luck

  48. JenS says:

Seriously, Publix! When, oh when, are you going to work with General Mills to put Fiber One back on bogo!!! Hubby has been out for at least a month and I refuse to buy him any at full price. Come on, Fiber one! Gimme a bogo next week! :)

  49. Kristin says:

Is is my imagination, or has no one done a coupon matchup on the new Green advantage flyer that started on Sunday? I don’t see it here, or on Southern Savers. Has anyone else seen it? Thank you!

  50. petra says:

-$1/1 Wish Bone Salad Dressing 16 oz + Great Deals on Great Meals In-Ad Coupon – this will expire before the new add starts…?

  51. Katie says:

Loving this ad :) Our pup looooves Dentastix, and the Meow Mix food combined with the kitty litter from last week will be great for animal shelter donations! I also love the Kashi hot cereal- that and the granola on sale this week, combined with all the Greek yogurt that’s been on sale, means I’m set for a while for breakfast. It’s amazing how an awesome ad for me is a bad ad for others…a lot of the time when others talk about a great ad for them, there’s nothing I’m interested in.

  52. Aurielle says:

Lets not forget the propel bogo with the $1 coupons makes them $1.00 per 6 pack. Stock up for me

  53. Angela says:

    “Pepsi 12 pk, BOGO $5.29
-$2/3 Dr Pepper Varieties 12 pk Yellow Advantage Buy flyer (if Pepsi bottles Dr. Pepper in your area)”

I’m so jealous of those of you who can get Dr. Pepper for $1.98!! Dr. Pepper is bottled by Coke in my area. :( As a Dr. Pepper addict, any price under $2.50 is a stockpile price. I hope Coke products go on sale like this next week so I can use my Yellow Advantage Buy coupons for a deal like this!!

    • michelle says:

Dr Pepper is not bottled by COKE!!!! Dr Pepper and 7up are a company that is not related to Coke or Pepsi!!!

      • Milena says:

That depends on the area. Dr. Pepper is bottles by Pepsi in my area, so it’s always included in Pepsi sales.

  54. Maria says:

I didn’t read all the comments, but the moments to save booklet has a $2/3 coupon for the tropicana. thanks.

  55. Tracy says:

In the Moments to Save insert there is $2 off 2 sunchips, lays kettle potato chips, or rold gold pretzels.

  56. Sean says:

I’m not excited at all about this weeks deals….

  60. Jennifer says:

Not a lot on sale this week. Guess this will be my week to take a break.

  61. Jeannie says:

Your Frito Lay and Tostito coupons are switched around under the wrong ad deal.

The free Publix Greenwise Market magazine for Spring 2011 has $1 Sunchip coupons that are good until 5/31. 10 1/2 oz bags. Coupon says “one per purchase” but not “one per customer” :)

  62. Christie says:

Oh my goodness. The Tostitos coupon for the Tostitos dip says “one coupon per customer.” So you can’t use one coupon for each salsa… what a stupid coupon LOL

  63. Sean says:

Here are a few more coupons that match up.

-.75/1 Whiskas dry cat food (Winn Dixie coupon), 2.7-3.3 lb, Pet Savings Month booklet

-.50/1 Pedigree Jumbone dog treats (Winn Dixie coupon), 6.3-7.1 oz, Pet Savings Month booklet

  64. Nicole Sheaffer says:

not sure if this was added. But Target has $0.50/1 8 ounce or larger I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! spreads. Combine with the $1.00/2 coupon and you get a great deal! BOGO 2.99 – $1/2MQ – (2)$0.50 Target Q = $0.99!!

  65. Melissa says:

When using the $6 off of 2, Did anyone notice that Enfamil 23.5oz powder cans went up to $31.99 each? I was furious!

    • tampatwinmom says:

I kept hopeing doing coupon match ups for enfamil at publix was worth it, but sams seems to have the best price- you get around 51 ounces for $41. When publix let me stack food lion and publix and if I had a man coupon it was better but now. . . .

  70. Shawna says:

Do coupons vary from state to state? I dont have the coupon for the popcorn. The only one that my SS came with is jolly popcorn.

    • Michelle says:

      Hey Shawna,
I have plenty of the $.55/1 popcorn coupons, you can email me (chelle4682@att.net) your address and I can mail you some, just let me know how many you want!!!

  71. melissa says:

outside of the condiments that r on sale this ad kinda sucks sorry to say

  72. Leather Man says:

Check Your Local Publix as They will start having Store Specific Competitors this weekend and will not take other stores coupons unless they are on the Stores Hard Copy List. Each location could be different. Mine will only take Kroger and Whole Foods. All others must state Manufacture Coupon on them.

    • donna says:

yep, but each store manager has the option to add grocery chains after the 20th. if enough people petition the store, the manager just might add on. However, most will probably point to the 5 mi. rule, and blame the issue on corporate.

      • michelle says:

NOT TRUE!!!!!!! The manager CAN NOT add competitors on to the list. The manager has to email the district manager who then emails the regional manager who then emails his boss to see if it can get added. My husband is a store manager. In his opinion its not worth the hassle and he said he will not be emailing anything in to be added. Coporate already told him who his competitors were and hes sticking to it.

  75. Gwen says:

I got a $5 off $50 Publix coupon in the mail today (Red Plum). Does anyone have any hints on how I can get more of these?

    • chris falise says:

in the mail ??? how did you get red plum …lucky did you subscribe for that?

      • Gwen says:

Yes, we get Red Plum in the mail on Tuesdays with the Winn Dixie and Food Lion ads. Did not subscribe. This $5 off $50 is for graduation. On the cover of the Red Plum ad. I looked in the recycling bins this morning to see if I could find any discarded coupons and I found some! Not the $5/50 but some inserts.

  76. Kay says:

Not much to stack this week..Looks like I will just be price matching bogo items at Wal Mart with coupons. So glad they started allowing Publix ads now

  77. Susan says:

Just not a great ad for me this week :( Don’t even think I’ll be going. But thanks, Michele for all you do!

  78. evan says:

Has anyone gotten the Kashi $1 off coupon? I did what the site said to do, but no coupon…

  79. Traci says:

Ugggh! Every few weeks publix puts the Cole’s garlic bread on BOGO, and like clockwork, the online coupon link is printed underneath. I always try it, but it always says to me that the coupons are no longer avaliable at this time. Do they come and go? Or have they really been gone for about 6 months?

  80. Traci says:

I have been doing this for a while and have never asked this. Why is it that all of these neat Target coupons are listed, and when I click the link I am taken to the Target coupon site, but none of the coupons are there? And sometimes, they are…and I am the only one who uses this home comuter, but it tells me that i have already printed the maximum allowed of that coupon (Target)…but I havent printed any!??

    • Cheryl says:

Target coupons often have to be printed out previously prior to this ad even coming out. Target limits the number of coupons that they distribute to everyone, so once the print limit is reached (for everyone in the world) then it will give you a max error… which means it probably JUST maxed out if you get to even click it in the first place.

    • Gwen says:

What I do is go to google and search “target coupons bagels” (for example). Then I find a link to click on. Works for me!

  81. jessica says:

In my last smartsource I got coupons for $1.00 off any ONE ronzoni garden delight pasta, I was all excited because I read above as “including” garden delight :( oh well like I need more pasta. Yeah nothing too exciting for me this week thanks for all the hard work with the matchups makes it soo much easier!!

  82. Mellisa says:

the tostitos dip from moments to save is for the bigger size dip not the smaller :(

  83. Becky says:

    Michelle,

My Publix policy change in Tallahassee, FL includes only these as competitors: EarthFare, Harveys, Piggly Wiggly, Save a Lot, The Fresh Market and Winn-Dixie. Any chance you can include coupons from these places on your matchups?

    • Alycia says:

Winn-Dixie is Included usually, also the Harveys coupons are under the flips catagory at the top. HTH

    • Marie says:

Hi I’m in Tallahassee also, what Publix to youshop at in Tallahassee. I usually shop at Ocala Road, Southwood and Blair Stone

    • Katie says:

Where in Tally are you shopping that accepts Save-a-lot and Piggly Wiggly? I shop at Ocala/Tennessee and only have EarthFare, Harveys, Fresh Market, and Winn-dixie. EarthFare puts out some awesome coupons- a lot of “free blueberries when you buy $10″ and the like.

      • jan says:

Seem to notice that we are always Pepsi when the GA ad says Coke and Coke when it says Pepsi :) Fort Lauderdale too … nice to meet you Dave!

    • Monica says:

I’m in Panama City, and Dr. Pepper is included in the 2-liter BOGO. There are hang tags for $1 off the purchase of 3. They were priced at $1.69, so I bought 6 @ $5.07, and then used 2 coupons, making it $3.07; so about 50 cents per 2 liter!

    • Milena says:

Yup, same in Hollywood, FL. I’m excited – much prefer Coca Cola over Pepsi :)

    • Monica says:

I found that too! And on the lipton boxes, save $1/2. Combined with the target lipton $1/2 coupon, paid about 32 cents per box!

  97. Jeanne says:

Has anyone been able to get the wishbone coupons? I have had no luck…

    • Gwen says:

    • Leah says:

i bought 3 dr peppers last night only for them to ring up full price and then looked at the actual ad for my area this morning and coke products are B3G1! i think i’ll return my dr peppers. very disappointed since this is my favorite beverage, my store even had a HUGE display at the entrance of pepsi products…i did not pay attention to the signage though. guess i’ll go back today and check the signage and make my return! I had even found a manufacturer q in the virginia paper for $1/2 that paired well with the YAB. URGH! Guess this deal is highly regional.

  101. Lisa says:

-$1/1 Smart Balance spread or milk (zip?) thanks Lana

  103. Rebrekkable says:

Look for the B2G2 Coke brand 12-packs with $2/2 Minute Maid, Fanta, Nestea, or Mello Yello 12-packs. That makes these 4 for $6! If you use the $/$ total order coupon and get a lot of these, this will be a GREAT deal!
We went out and bought 16 packs yesterday between two transactions, and paid an incredibly small amount after the $/$ coupons. Most people have the $5/$25 coupon, so buy 12 packs, use (6) $2/2 coupons and the $5 coupon, and pay only around $19. That’s less than $1.60/pack, and less than $0.15 cents per can!

  104. Melissa says:

Where is the great deals on great meals in ad coupon I dont see it in my online ad for GA
