Publix Weekly Ad 5/12 to 5/18 (5/11 to 5/17 for some)

May 9, 2011

Here is the sneak peek of the Publix ad that begins 5/12 (5/11 for some). Let me know if you find additional coupons and I will get them added  :-)

Remember this is the metro Atlanta version of the ad. Be sure to check your ad for any variations.

When you see the checkmark stockpile button13 Publix Weekly Ad 5/12 to 5/18 (5/11 to 5/17 for some) – those items are either a great stockpile price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling, so if your store doesn’t double it may not be a stock up price for you.

  1. Lori says:

    Thanks, Michelle!! :D

  2. Debbie says:

There was also a $1/1 Kraft Homestyle mac and cheese in the 4/17 SS.

  3. Alycia E. says:

Thank u Michelle. Looks good, but not great! Well theres always next week!

  4. Lana says:

Prices have gone up so much that some of this doesn’t even seem like sale prices! Their meat prices are out of sight!

    • Maggi says:

I was just going to post the same thing. Progresso Soup used to be @ 2.29/can regular price. Now that’s the sale price – curious to know what the new regular price will be.

    • Kathy says:

I agree…their meat prices are always high. Their meats are very good…but can’t afford their prices. I got the cubed steak for $2.98 lb last week at Ingles…so I stocked up on it! But…I still LOVE Publix!

      • Wren says:

It’s hard to beat Ingles meat prices, especially knowing that they grind and cut all their own meat. It’s really good quality meat, just like Publix.

I was thinking too, how much prices have gone up! I used to be able to get Cheerios for about $1/per box with sale and a coupon. Haven’t found a deal like that in ages :(

    • Joy says:

What about Hellman’s mayonnaise????? The price is outrageous!

    • m sanders says:

I agree… What in the world is going on? Seriously, I know that’s big box of Cheerios but who would pay that? And Morningstar used to be on sale 2/$4 or at least BOGO which made them 2 for $3.91 usually for the bean burger one I got. Do they think we don’t notice? I get really only the super sale stuff at Publix now. Crazy prices on everything else “everyday” there now.

      • Lori says:

I agree. I was thinking the same thing about the “BOGO” Eight O’clock coffee from the current sale…wow, even with the sale and coupons, it’s still pretty high. :(

        • Ashley says:

Shop around in your town. The Publix I live closest to is aroudn .30 to $2 higher on products then my old Publix….now I drive 15 miles to get to the old one…its actually worth the gas. The coffee there was $4.96 bogo last week and the Progresso soups are around $1.46 each. The meat is expensive there but if you live by a Publix in the poor side of town stuff is way cheaper…at least here in Nashville

        • Ashley says:

    • tina says:

You said it! There is NOOOO WAY I could afford Publix meat prices…The quality is great but it’s just too exspensive for me.

  5. Kristy says:

This is probably a silly question but how can we use savingstar coupons at publix? I saw it under one of the match-ups.. Thanks =)

  6. Lois says:

Yay for the Vlasic BOGO that everyone has been hoping for!!! thanks Michelle!!!

    • Jenn says:

Me too. My supply was running low. With the Store + MFG coupons and I found peelies for FREE Pepperidge buns WYB 2 Vlasic pickles, its a great deal.

      • Doug says:

Show off! I thought I was doing good with just my store and mfg Qs! I seem to miss a lot of these blinkies at my store. I’m just glad I passed up the recent Mt Olive BOGO to wait for Vlasic.

    • Becky says:

I’m glad I grabbed some blinkie coupons over the past few weeks to use with the Publix coupons. So happy it’s going to be on sale!

  7. Megan says:

    Thanks for posting this!!

I’ll have to check my coupons when I get home but I’m pretty sure there are Publix, manufacture, and Target q’s available for the Aussie/Herbal Essences.

Is coupons.com not working for anyone else? Might just be this computer but it just will not go to that site.

  8. Amber says:

THe welch’s healthy start is not included. That is the one located in produce. Too bad there is not coupons for them. Maybe some will come out this comin up weekend.

    • meghan says:

I didn’t think of looking there for the juice. Thanks, I was wondering where to find that. Usually my area doesn’t carry new products untill the coupons are long gone expired.

  9. Leah says:

Not too great this week. I need a break anyways!

    • wendyc33 says:

pretty good week for me though. love hidden valley dressings, lenders bagels hope they are not the frozen ones. My favorite bread sara lee honey wheat. del monte vegetables. Looks like good prices on lysol and dish soap.
      not too bad.

  10. Michelle says:

Holy cow! .22 Ben and Jerry’s ice cream is life-altering for our family!! ;) Where is everyone finding the tearpads? Publix or different stores? Are they currently out? Thanks so much for the preview, Michelle!

  11. Shandy says:

Not seeing the coupons for Seventh Generation dish soap. Is there a zip that will get them or are they gone?

  12. Anne says:

There is a $1/2 Morningstar Farms coupon on the Target webite.

    • Megan says:

Even if the Target q doesn’t apply to this sale (not sure if it will since the q says “meatless burgers or chik’n patties” and the ad says “5.25 to 14.5 oz”) I’m still stocking up!!!

    • Lois says:

really???? yahoo!! haven’t seen that yet

  13. nicole says:

i was hoping baby food would be bogo this ad

  14. April M. says:

Thanks Michelle! I have been waiting for Kraft Homestyle Mac and Cheese to go on sale and BOGO is awesome!

  15. Katie says:

So excited eggbeaters are on sale again! We were out of town for the last sale and have really been missing them. If anyone has any extra eggbeaters coupons that they don’t need, let me know- I only have one :(

  16. Couponj says:

Yay for pickles and hope tp get a good deal on cheerios! Now I’m waiting on a Nutri-Grain Bar Deal. Down to last box!!!

  17. nikki says:

    Yay!
I knew the Homestyle Mac and cheese would be on sale soon! BOGO plus 1/1 Q’s makes a super cheap deal! I hope the new coupon policy will still allow a manufacturer Q on each item of the BOGO’s! I heard my store manager say that they were starting it this week! I am going to stock up on these for summer lunches!
I was waiting for the Vlasic pickles too!
Glad to see Ground Chuck on sale too. I need it!
Thanks so much for sharing the Ad!

    • alana says:

Maybe someone else understands the logic behind this policy better than I do, but it seems like if they are giving you an item for free they would want to be reimbursed for part of the price by accepting a coupon on it. Just saying

      • nikki says:

I had a hard time grasping that concept too when I first started couponing. But I have asked several people and they say it is OK. Michelle has explained it that the store is giving it to us for free and that they will be reimursed by the manufacturer. I asked to make sure it was the right thing to do and I have been told it is acceptable couponing etiquette.

  18. Shana says:

I wonder if shoppers will be required to have an in-ad coupon for each corresponding product that is purchased. If so, I will have to get several copies of the ad. I don’t really like that…

    • Megan says:

      Usually that’s how it is.

    • susan says:

if you live near some apartments, the ads are usually delivered in the mail, and so many people just toss them into the recycle bins by the mailboxes….i don’t feel bad “saving” those coupons and i never have to take extra ones at the store :)

    • nikki says:

My huband was getting 5 Publix yellow advantage flyers for me and he got a “smart” remark from an employee….You think you have enough? In a snotty tone. It is my hope that they are not going to start watching how many ads you take. If they are putting coupons in the ads then they will have to understand that some people might take more than one!

      • jessica says:

oh my Publix is the same way! they will allow you to get two per customer, and when you ask for two they roll there eyes and act like its killing them to give me two!

      • Sarah says:

Question- do your stores allow you to use more than one coupon from the advantage buy flyer per transaction? Mine used to, and has now stopped.

      • lookitsatree says:

Wow, that’s crazy. My store always has a few hundred of the things left by their expiry date, so I don’t think they mind it when I grab 2 or 4. At least, no one’s ever given me the hairy eyeball over it yet as I walk around the store ripping the desirable q’s out…

    • Julie says:

Check the online ad…there may be a printable option so you don’t actually need that many paper ads

      • Lana says:

You can always print the Publix coupons from the ad. Just click on the coupon and a box pops up giving you the option to print.

  19. Doug says:

Does anyone know if Publix still carries their Publix Homestyle ice cream? All my store had was the Publix Premium, and we don’t think it’s as good.

    • lynette says:

Mine doesn’t carry it either. I really like their yogurt that taste like ice cream and they no longer carry it either.

      • Doug says:

We discovered that all the Publix ice cream now looks alike. You need to look closer at the color ring around the lid. It was there all along!

  20. JR says:

Where is the “Great Deals on Great Meals” thingy you keep referring to? I have not happened upon that yet.

  21. nicole says:

so i have a ridiculously stupid question… the preview ad is such an amazing help in planning my grocery shopping.. (I go the 10th of every month) My question is…the coupons you post under the product.. that doesnt mean we can use all those coupons for that product right? it is just what savings are available?! lol I’m still trying to get the hang of using multiple coupons when items are bogo or 2/7, 4/10 etc.. for example, the ball parks that are 2/7.. i have 2 $1 off coupons, 1 .75 off two, 1 .75 off one, and 1 .55 off one. I can’t use all of those can I?

    • crystal says:

one store and on manufacturer per item

    • couponj says:

No you cannot use all those coupons. Multiple are listed so you can pick the highest value coupon that you have from the list of available coupons.

You can use 1 Manufacturer’s coupon per item.

Then you can Stack a Store coupon like Publix or a competitor (if available). True Publix coupons will have an LU number and not a bar code that can be scanned. Again, only 1 per item.

Some coupons have additional rules on them.

      • nicole says:

thanks guys i appreciate the help! I want to make sure i’m doing it right and fair so no problems for me and my store. : )

I see the 5/8 SS insert mentioned. Did not get any in the 4 papers I have delivered. When I call the AJC they say there were no inserts for yesterday’s paper but I seem to remember someone posting elsewhere that they got coupons in yesterday’s Atlanta paper. Did anyone else get coupons in their AJC?

  24. Angie J says:

Do you know if the Kids Aquafresh is included in the sale?

  25. Maggie M. says:

Thank you for the preview Michelle! You rock! Excited for Del Monte Tomatoes, and Vlasic Pickles swear we go through a jar of pickles a week!!

  26. Megan says:

    Aussie Shampoo/Conditioner 2/$5

    - (2) .55/1 Aussie Publix q
    - (1) $1/2 Aussie Target q

    - (1) $1/1 Aussie manu q P&G Everyday Savings booklet exp. 6-30-11

    = $1.40, or .70 each

This is if your Publix allows you to stack store, manu and competitor q’s together AND accepts Target as a competitor.

  27. Natalie A says:

There was a tearpad this weekend in our Mid TN store – FREE Publix chips 8oz up to $2.59 with the purchase of any Ball Park Frank AND Ball Park bun.

  28. alana says:

I found peelies (55/1) for yoplus and .65/2 for fiber 1 yogurt in my binder. They were off yogurt I bought eons ago and expire in June. Maybe you have them too!

  29. I found this at Publix a few months ago: $1 off produce wyb (2) Hidden Valley Dressing – Tearpad (exp 6/30/12) :-)

  30. Sarah says:

I’m not having any luck with the $3.50 febreeze noticeable coupon. I get an error when I use the link provided… any info?

    • Lisa says:

That one is actually not a printable coupon – it’s a mail-in-rebate. Not sure where that link is supposed to go, but it may be that you can search google or somewhere to find the MIR form.

    • Jasmin says:

I might have one that you can use let me know and I can mail it to you if you like.

  31. Janet Moran says:

Are the in-ad coupons only good this week or for longer out-thanks!

  32. Mira says:

Question: I receive Babies-R-Us coupons in the mail all the time. I just noticed they have a barcode on them beginning with 5. Does this mean they are manu Qs? Can I use them anywhere?

    • Amber says:

Does it say manufactuer coupons on top?

      • wendyc33 says:

If it starts with a 5 it is a manf coupon, but if has redeem only at publix or whatever store it says it could present a problem at other stores, but if it beeps and doesnt go through make your case that it says manufacturer coupon. Usually they will take them. Always try it anyway. My winn dixie store computer loves to beep with those, but hey i just tell them I will use that at publix, because i know they will take them, and guess what they end up taking them. lol. If they want my money that is.

  33. Fran Cadieu says:

1st time ever AWESOME shopping week.. I wish I would have taken pictures..I split my purchases into 6 transaction because of the $5.00 Publix Q.
One of my transactions was $11.20. My 2nd transaction was $6.61. My 4th transaction was $4.65… but by far my BEST TRANSACTION.. REFUNDED ME $7.07.

I spent $58 and saved over $400.00. this included 36 FREE bags of birds eye Veggies and .50 cent bags of Voila…oh and the refund transaction included a lg 80 count box of Glad garbage bags!!!! I am so totally hooked……LINE & SINKER :)

    • Rachael W says:

The free birdseye vegetables didnt match the Viola! meals on BOGO.. ethical couponing means checking for sizes. Just because they will accept it, doesn’t mean you should let them!

At my publix you can use multiple $$ off $$ coupons in one transaction as long as the total is high enough (ie if you are using 2 $5/$40 u need to spend 80)

      • Mary says:

That is awesome they will let you use multiples like that. At the Publix where I shop, you can only use one $ off $$ coupon per transaction and they really discourage more than one transaction. I had a competitor $ off $$ and a store $ off $$ and couldn’t use both in one transaction either.

      • nikki says:

        Amen!
Unethical couponing ruins it for those that are doing the right thing!

        • Kari Eso says:

i think it should be noted the person above is a newbie…as evidenced by the “first time EVER” part.

so let’s give ‘em a break…maybe it wasn’t “unethical” as much as it was “uninformed”. in case you are wondering, fran – the birds eye/voila coupon did not match the BOGO veggies this week. if you used them, you kind of broke a couponing code of ethics which is to only use a coupon on the item it specifies on the coupon. if it doesn’t say, then it’s fair game. but this one specifically said “family size”. i don’t even think my store carries family size. i digress…

i am just wondering where you got 36 coupons. and, did you just load up your cart off the shelves, or did you call first and order that large quantity. this is another couponing code – if you are going to buy this much, think of your fellow man who is going to have to wait until they restock after you.

    • Jennifer says:

Between this post and the posts about everyone using the $3 off family size coupon, I think it is time for Michelle to do a post on ethical couponing. People like you will eventually ruin it for everyone.

      • ct says:

This is why Publix has a new computer system that will beep if incorrect coupons are used. ;)

        • M says:

No it doesn’t. It will beep if you don’t have a product at all or it is nowhere near what it was intended to be used for, but there is some degree of accountability on the customer also to make sure you are using it correctly. Look at the lady being put through the ringer right now for supposedly using her coupons incorrectly on the couponing show. No computer program is ever going to be able to prevent all dishonesty. People need to read the coupon, use it as it was intended to be used and quit the “if it scans it is OK” logic.

          • tonya says:

I say give the poor girl a break. She obviously is new to couponing and to be honest, when I first started couponing I made many of the same mistakes (unintentionally). I never realized there were so many different sizes of the same product…(ex: cereal, cheese, pickles).

We should do our best to try and help others coupon correctly instead of assuming they had dishonest intentions.

            Welcome aboard Fran!

          • Dania says:

I ave no idea whether or not she intentionally used her coupons improperly, but I do agree that being a newbie comes with making mistakes. I made plenty the first month or so. They were certainly NEVER intentional. Let’s give people the benefit of the doubt before we become so judgemental. It can really turn a person off from frequenting a website or a forum. I’m sure that’s not Michelle’s intention.

Glad you’re couponing, Fran. Gather as much onformation as possible when you make your shopping lists, and I’m sure you’ll continue to save without making mistakes :-)

      • Bobbie says:

Agree, my cashier looks at my products if I have more 2 of the same item with 2 coupons. Your telling me that the cashier did not read the coupon or the lady using them for 36 bags. Theres no way!!!!

    • michelle says:

The Voila coupons that you used were for the family size bags which were not on sale so you should not have been able to use them or the Birds eye coupons since those also applied to the purchase of a family size bag. The family size bags are 42 oz and the bags that were on sale were 22-23 oz. Unfortunately, it seems like many people don’t care any more as long as they get something free or cheap.

    • tina says:

Goodness Guys! She’s brand new…Welcome aboard Fran! And don’t take any of the rude comments to heart because I think some people must have not read your post in it’s entirety (or at all, lol). We ALL make a few mistakes when we’re new so don’t feel bad at all! A great place to tell you all the “do’s and don’ts” is the Q&A section on this website.

    • Cheryl says:

Moral of the story is, welcome to couponing, but PLEASE be cautious, you may harm more people than you know.

We all make mistakes, but when you do, the cashiers can get in trouble for taking incorrect coupons, even put on corrective action, and I know that no one here wants to get their cashier in trouble or fired. Also note that once a cashier is stung by an experience like that, the cashier, manager, and everyone else, starts to watch you like a hawk and give you trouble next time. As an HR manager, I know this is why many cashiers despise couponers!

The huge losses that Publix and other companies have taken due to improper coupon use is the direct reason why Publix has to redefine their coupon policy, and update their software. Clearinghouses that process all of the manufacturers coupons that we redeem are responsible for checking to ensure that the coupon used matches up correctly to the item purchased. When they do not match, the store does not get reimbursed, and the store suffers a loss. When the store loses money, they have to compensate somehow, either by decreasing costs (lost jobs or hours) or increasing prices (the price we pay, which I’ve seen many people mention how they’ve seen the prices jumping up a lot lately). When they do match, the store does get reimbursed, and everyone is happy.

I am sure that myself and many other people who have been couponing for years have noticed a HUGE influx of new couponers lately (thanks to the EXTREME COUPONING show on TLC). My word of advice to everyone is that everything is best in moderation, and I suggest still couponing, but keeping it under the radar. There is a reason why the Extreme Couponing show is always has Hoarders shown before and after.

      EVERYTHING IS BEST IN MODERATION!

P.S. I still save 50-70% off my bill every week, but I normally purchase only 1 cart worth of goods at a time.

  34. JENNIFER says:

Hey I have not read to see if anyone posted this or not, but there was a $1/1 Welch’s any flavor in SS 5/1.

  35. Maria says:

I found a $0.50/1 vlasic at winn dixie(blinkie)…it’s a manufacturer’s so it can be combined with the publix coupon. thanks!

  36. Amy says:

I’m not finding the Seventh Generation coupon on coupons.com. Anyone else see it? Thanks!

    • Jeanne says:

I can’t find any of the $1 value coupons either. Anyone know of a zip code we could try? Thanks!

      • Lisa says:

I couldn’t find them either, on the seventh generation website they have .50 off dish soap so I printed those.

  37. libby says:

Did anyone else see the yakisoba coupon prices on ebay? I just about fell out of my chair!

  38. debra says:

Just talked with a manager at publix tonight and they said the new coupon policy will be put out on Friday. If he is right a few of the changes will be that competitor coupons will have to be from a supermarket (No more walgreens or cvs) type store inlcuding super targets and super walmarts…They have to be within 10 miles of that particular Publix. Also the highest they will go to is $5 off ($5 off 25)..We’ll see if he is right this week.

  39. Kelli Morris says:

My daughter works for Publix- Big meetings on changes in coupon policy, starting tomorrow morning. She said she’d fill me in on things when she gets home.

  40. Megan says:

Okay between the hot dog bogo sale this week, the hot dog chili coupons in 5/8 SS, and the ketchup, Mac & Cheese and pickles deals starting Thursday, I feel an old-fashioned Chili Dog night coming on! Mmm…

  41. Megan says:

It looks like the Target IP for $1/2 Morningstar Farms (burgers or chik’n patties) WILL work for this sale, the ad says 5.25 oz. – 14.5 oz., and the burgers and chik’n patties fit that requirement. YAY :)

  42. Amber says:

Toaster Strudels and Chocolate Syrup need to go on sale!!! Ran out of my stock pile like 2 months ago…

    • Melissa says:

You saw the $1 off Toaster Strudels in the yellow flyer, right? I agree, it needs to go on sale! :)

    • Debbie says:

I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for Toaster Strudels to go on sale. We’re getting desperate around here.

  43. Sara says:

I’ve got a coupon for $1/1 package of Morningstar product that I got out of a box of Kelloggs brand cereal recently. It was one of the boxes marked “$5 of coupons inside”.

  44. Dani says:

    Hey everyone,

I’m new at this. Could someone look over my little list of items I want to get and see if I did my math right? I also want to make sure you can use two coupons (one for each item) even on BOGOs. Thanks in advance!

Weight Watcher Smart Ones Desserts 4.36 to 6.6 oz, BOGO $2.15
    BOGO + $1/5 = 6 for $0.91 each, , pay $5.45

Kraft Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese 12.6 oz bag, BOGO $2.59
    BOGO + (2) $1/1 = 2 for FREE w/ $0.70 mm

Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid 25 oz, BOGO $2.99
    BOGO + (2) $1/1 = 2 for $0.50

    AquaFresh Toothpaste 6.4 oz, $1.19
    w/ $1/1 = $0.19 each

    • Megan says:

The Mac and cheese is $2.59 for 2 bags, minus your 2 $1 coupons, makes 2 bags .59, or .30 each.

The Seventh Generation is $2.99 for 2 bottles, minus your 2 $1 coupons, makes 2 bottles .99, or .50 each.

      Hope that helps!! :)

      • Dani says:

Ohhh, for some reason I divided the mac and cheese price in half and THEN subtracted the $2. Wow. It was late, but I was excited about the deals :]

  45. elaine says:

i found peelies on the zatarans rice mix for 25cents off as well.

  46. Lois says:

wouldn’t the facebook coupon for $1/1 Nabisco cookies be valid on the Chips Ahoy?

  47. Lois says:

I wonder if the Welch’s Healthy Start juice would be part of the BOGO? Probably not because it’s refrigerated, but a girl can hope right? (since i have $1/1 blinkies :-) )

  48. Catie S. says:

Where is the B1G1 for the Target pampers?? I looked in my P&G but couldn’t find it there.

  49. Alyssa Johnson says:

Don’t forget there is a Publix coupon for $3.00 off the purchase of any fresh meat with the purchase of Kingsford charcoal 11.1 lb or larger! (The Match Light is on sale this week). Coupon expires 5/15/11 and is available in the “Spring Family Gatherings” booklet.

  50. Tahdsmom says:

Does anyone have any extra .75 cents vlasic coupons, I have really high value Tampax and Always Q’s if you want to trade. Email me @ psalms341968@gmail.com Thanks!

  51. Suzanne says:

You can print the Great Deals on Meals coupons at http://greatdealsongreatmeals.com/

  52. Katie says:

    What is tear pad?

  53. Nicole says:

I found in the who loves you booklet a publix $2/1 puperoni coupon to stack with the manufacturer! Makes for a great deal! :)

    • Megan says:

That q is for 25 oz. and the sale is on 10 oz. :(

      • Dot says:

Also the rolling coupon if you have printed it before won’t let you print it again. Why do they call it a rolling if it only allows you to print it once then never again kind of waste of time going to print something only for it to tell you nope…………….

        • Megan says:

They call it rolling because of the expiration date, the later you print it the later your expiration date will be. Hope that helps :/

  54. kelli says:

I am new to all of this, What is the SS Insert?

  55. Nicole says:

What Zip can I find the 1/1 seventh generation coupon? I can’t find it on the all you page and on the seventh gen page its only .50/1

    Thanks!!!

    • Mungee's Ma says:

It is under the 22657 zip code. The coupon says Redeem at Giant, but it is a manufacturer’s coupon and it does not say “ONLY at Giant”. It can also be found at zip code 22222.

  56. chris says:

can anybody send me 2 winn dixie booklet i cant get them and they are one of my compeditors here!! i am willing to trade stuff guys!!

  57. Sheri says:

Does anyone know if you can use more than one “More great deals” coupon per transaction? Meaning, I can reprint the coupons several times and purchase 4 Knorr pasta sides and use 4 coupons to go with it?

    • Megan says:

The wording on that coupon is “one deal per coupon” which I take as once coupon gets you .55 off one Knorr side. So yes I think you can use one per side you purchase. Someone else correct me if I’m wrong though!

      • Tami says:

The Publix closest to me has a sign up that says you can only use 2 like coupons at one time. It probably depends on your store and who’s working.

        • Crystal says:

Ask your store manager … but for me if I buy 10 like items Ican use 10 coupons (unless I have store and manufacturer’s, then it is 20!!)

          • jh says:

was told by a manager tht “one deal per coupon” that you could only used the store coupon on the first deal in any one transaction and would be followed strictly after May 23rd

          • Miranda says:

one deal per customer, so you must have 10 of the coupons, if you buy 10 items. the only time you can only use 1 of a coupon is when it says “one deal per transaction” or “one deal per customer” i’m a cashier at publix in florida :P . and same rule will apply even after new coupon policy!

    • Chrissy says:

I used 10 for the Knorr Pasta today (I’m in Tallahassee, Fl)

    • Elissa says:

I’m just starting out in the world of coupons and would appreciate your opinions so I don’t go up to Publix looking like an idiot. I got a rain check for this item when it was on sale BOGO, that I have not used yet. Does this mean for example that I can buy (3) pkgs at the BOGO sale price of $.65/each and use the .55 off coupons for each pkg? Also if I had a $1/3 coupon could I also use that in the same transaction? If this is something I need to ask the manager I will, I just don’t want to look crazy by asking because this is how it looks to me. Any feed back will be appreciated, keep in mind I have not taken any coupon classes yet. Thanks

This is how it looks to me: each pkg .65(x3)=$1.95 minus .55(x3)=$1.65 minus $1/3 coupon which would actually make me .70 for ever 3 pkgs I buy

      • cindy says:

The answer to your question is “depends”
Let me explain because it depends upon what type of coupon you have:
If both your $.65 and $1/3 are Manufacturer coupons-then no, you can pick either/or
If one of them is a store or competitor coupon, then yes, you should be able to stack them and use both coupons.
If you’re not sure how to determine the type of coupon:
MFQ’s have a UPC that always starts with a 5 or 9 and should have a retailer redemption address
        Store Q’s are everything else.
        Hope it helps!

  58. Erika says:

I am looking for MorningStar coupons – I already used my greenwise one and I need to stock up. I will print the target one, but can use more for breakfast items. I am willing to trade. Please email erika at nolesrule.net Thanks!

Martha White vs Krusteaz muffins — How do they compare in flavor? We’ve never tried Krusteaz.

  60. Crystal says:

I found a .75 coupon in the isle in front of the Vlasic pickles!

  61. Kristina says:

My friend went to Publix at 11am today. She said they were sold out of the Homestyle Mac & Cheese and the Dish soap. The Lysolvwas almost gone.

  62. Carol says:

General Mills Cheerios (various sizes) is $5.19 a box? Very disappointed. Wish it was on a BOGO because I have coupons that would knock the socks off a GM Cheerios BOGO sale.

    • christy says:

I have been waiting and waiting for a GM sale… I am sick of Kellogg’s and especially SPECIAL K stuff…. I so need cereal again… maybe next week…

    • Aurielle says:

I used the $2 coupon not on the biggest box but for one about 17 or 18oz. It still met the publix coupon criteria and i stacked with the MQ. SO pretty decent for a few boxes in my house.

  63. Gg says:

    Wow! Learned a lot

  64. Jessica says:

Hey yall, I tried to print coupons for starburst and hunts ketchup. It says I have already printed these! But I know for a fact I havent! Anyone else having this problem? thanks.

    • Jenn says:

It may have reached the print limit. For some reason, instead of saying “pring limit reached,” some coupons say you have already printed it.

  65. Michelle says:

The BOGO sale is on the Welch’s 100% Grape Juice, so the SS 5/1/11 MQ won’t work because it is for the “Essential Juice Cocktail Blend”. Here in Tampa, FL the Essential is regular price $0.30 less than the 100% and not on sale.

  66. Joy says:

Maybe I misssed it but, for those of you that played the Viva game on FB there was a $2/1 Viva paper towels to be won. I had problems w/the game so they mailed mine to me. (plus a couple of others for the inconvence) That with the Target coupon…I’ll be picking up paper towels this week

  67. corey conner says:

BTW…target has a printable for $1 off degree deoderant, so stack with the 4/17 qp and makes it .99 each!

  68. Amber Cothran says:

I got a “Spring Family Gatherings” book from behind the customer service counter at Publix. There is a $3 off the purchase of fresh meat with the purchase of any Kingsford Original, Match Light, etc. 11.1 lbs or larger that would go well with the Kingsford Matchlight that is on sale.

  69. Shawna says:

The coupons listed for the aquafresh toothpaste are not the correct ones for what is on sale. I went to Publix today hoping to get some and the coupon did not match what was on sale.

    • Kathy says:

In the Family Style Publix Magazine there is a coupon for $3.00/ 2 GSK Oral Care Items (including Aquafresh Toothpasts – advance, extreme clean, white & shine, sensitive or is-active 4.3oz, 5.6oz or 6.0oz). Would that work on the sale?

  70. Lizz says:

there is a $1.50 ge light bulb pack as a Target coupon on their website.

  71. crystal says:

there are peelie coupons on certain general mills cereal @ publix for free things like gogurt and toaster strudels! bought 9 boxes of cereal today and got 6 free things!!! :)

  72. Crystal Hepler says:

Where can I find this coupon???…. -$1/1 Purina Beneful Dry Dog Food assorted varieties 15.5 lb bag or larger, “Who Loves You?”, valid 5/5-6/1/11

    • Angel says:

It was in a booklet in the store-green and white with a cat and a man on the front. They may or may not be available anymore. Look around the store.

  73. Anna says:

There’s also $1/8 Yoplait cups coupon in the Spring Family Savings booklet Combine it with 2 $1/4 Publix Qs for a nice deal on yogurt

  74. Marilyn says:

Publix doesn’t have Stouffers 4/$10.00 – at least they aren’t offering it in Florida. This is the first time I have ever seen a discrepancy so I just wanted to double check with you.
    Thanks

  75. Shannon says:

I went to Publix today and the Cherrios were $4.99 at my store. They also had the peelies on the boxes for free Toaster Strudels. Also, the Nature Valley value pack granola bars were free after the $2.00 off store coupon! I also ended up getting 2 glade relaxing moments air freshener spray for free because they were on sale, I had a store coupon, and then I had a manufacturer coupon I was able to stack with and they came out free:) It was a good day shopping at Publix!

  76. Jaya says:

I’m here in Gainesville, FL and never see Morningstar coupons. Anyone in the area having success finding them?

  77. Dee says:

Really upset right now, I was going to use the $6 off 2 cans of enfamil and our Publix went up to $31.99 a can! (23.5 oz) Has anyone else noticed this?
