Valentine’s Day Meal Deal
February 10, 2011
If you plan to celebrate Valentine’s Day at home, Amanda over at A Few Short Cuts has a Valentine’s Day meal deal for you.
Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday this year we will likely celebrate at home. We have so much going on this weekend with my son’s birthday party that I am guessing that we probably will have to forego a night out and just have a nice family Valentine’s Day dinner
That works just fine for me and I will happily tuck away my entertainment funds for another splurge down the road…when the timing is better
Head over and visit Amanda to check out her Valentine’s Day Meal Deal idea.

Thanks for the meal suggestion. With three children all the same age it wasn’t logical for my husband and I to ever try to head out for Valentines dinner on our own. So, I began a tradition years ago where we have a Family Valentines meal. We get dressed up and I set the table with one of my fancy red tablecloths, candles, the good dinnerware and have a gourmet meal at home. The kids are now 13 and still look forward to their fancy Valentines dinner.
I love this idea. I did something like this for my husband when we were still dating (about 7 years ago) but haven’t done it since. This would be perfect to get my little ones involved!
Wenever eat ut for Valentine’s Day. Too crowded and a lot of places have a fixed menu that is expensive. Thanks for the ideas for a stay at home night!!!
