The Not-Quite-As-Happy Report 1/13
January 14, 2011
Hey all – Christy here! Happy and Michelle are snowed and iced in up in Georgia, so I volunteered to TRY to take over the Happy Report for this week, and man are those some big shoes to fill! I figured out VERY quickly that I was not going to do anywhere near as good a job as Happy does every week, but I did my best! Here’s what I found:

These were in a cardboard display at the front of my store with $1/1 tearpads…if you find these too, they’ll be $2 each!

M. emailed to let me know that she called Kellogg’s customer service because the rebate form says “Guarantee” so she wanted to clarify: “The customer service rep said it IS indeed a rebate and that if mailed separately you could get the promo for ‘EACH OF THE TWO FLAVORS’ but she advised that I get the cereal with the promo listed in “yellow” on the top flap, (why I don’t know). The promo is currently still in production!”

Jennifer over at Once Upon A Coupon sent over her Publix Meal Planner…check it out
Thanks so much to the wonderful Christy for a job well done–we HEART you!!!

Thanks for the info about the sunshine/keebler snacks. I got that coupon from the tearpad last week, and looked for it in the ad this week, but didn’t think to check the display to see if it was unadvertised BOGO. I’ll have to check it out when I go back to get my trashbags with that $3/1 coupon.
Thanks for filling Happy’s shoes this week–you made my day.
$3/1 coupon on the trashbags? Where can I find that? Thank you!
see this post for all the details

Thanks for the Happy Report Christy! I’ll try to add some happiness. In prep for the sale, I found a $1/1 MQ for Kleenex with a clipping service. Combined with the sale price this week and the new $2/2 store coupon in the Big Savings book, there was a great overage for each item! I also have .55/1 Klenex MQ (and I saw some $1/4 MQs that would also make it FREE)…which STILL gave me the FREE product and an overage and my store doesn’t even double! Happy shopping everyone!
Has anyone tried the Kellogg Honey Nut Ceral? I wish there was better coupons for it. I want to try it but I want to see what people think about it first. It seems like it is just cheerios with pieces of nuts on them…
Check for boxes with the full price mail in rebate. If you are in Florida, it will get you both boxes free.
Thank you Christie!!!! I live 45 minutes from any grocery store, so I don’t go until I get the Happy report!!!
I’m worried about how empty my store might be since Publix’s distribution center is snowed in also.
Sorry, Thank you Christy!!!
Thank you very much, Christy!
You did a GREAT job!!!
The Hunts coupon site says it has to be loaded to a store card.
Rock on, Christy!
FABULOUS!!!
Walgreens in-store savings book has a coupon for $2/2 Keebler Cookies or Crackers, 11.5 to 16 oz. If your Publix will accept Wags as a competitor, this would make a nice deal!
Thanks for posting the info on the Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks! I snagged a few at my store this morning and can’t wait for them to go B1G1 so I get them all for FREE!!!! They are good through the end of the year
Thanks for putting this together for us! Unfortunately the Hunts Q is supposed to be loaded to a shopper’s card (as someone else pointed out), and I couldn’t get the Tea Q to print either (AFTER I gave them my email, of course… bummer. Maybe someone else will have better luck with it.
I believe I saw Hunt Peelie Coupons on the spaghetti sauce cans last week. I’m not sure of the value. I’m thinking $1/2. The only reason I remember them is this is the only sauce my Mom uses.
