It’s Friday and that means that today is the day to send in your questions for “Ask I Heart Publix”! We actually forgot to put up the call for questions last week so our question pile is getting a little low – time for you all to write in!
Your questions can be about anything – basic couponing information, how to use the site, finding coupons, other ways to save, whatever you’re curious about! Every Wednesday we’ll answer 10 of your questions. There’s also a tab at the top of the site where all past questions and answers are stored.

Just got my Friday Orlando Sentinel. There is a $5 off of $50 Publix purchase sticker on the front. It green and says Publix Ultimate Tailgate Party. Expires 9/20/10. So don’t throw it away!

Today I made a rare Friday trip to Publix, and I was shocked by what I saw: Tearpads! Tearpads! Tearpads! Everywhere I looked, I saw tearpads. It was awesome, because some were for items I’d already put in my cart!
Usually I shop on Thursdays (first day of the sale cycle) and Mondays (same sale cycle, with the addition of items matched with coupons from the previous day’s paper). And I almost never find tearpads.
Do you find there’s a best day, best time of day, best time of month, etc., for finding tearpads?
That is so funny that you said that. I went late last night (Thursday) and saw a TON of tearpads too. I usually go Friday/Sat and never see any!! Oh and there were tons of peelies, and there are NEVER peelies on the products I buy. I was so excited b/c the peelies were slightly higher than the coupons I had. I hope to hear her answer soon

I saw the same thing… My first time going on a Friday, and tear pads were everywhere. I’m in Orlando. I usually shop Saturday or Sunday.
I didn’t see any extra tear pads, but my store is not very quick getting new peelies out ASAP.
Hi! The day before yesterday I got a Publix postcard in the mail with a $5 off $30 coupon. Today I got the $5 off $50 coupon from the Orlando Sentinel. Can I use both of these coupons on one shopping trip as long as I spend $80? Thanks!
