Publix Penny Item 8/11 & 8/12

This week the penny item is a half gallon of Publix Sweet Tea –oh I love that stuff!!
The penny item coupon is valid for one day only –the day your ad begins (either Wednesday or Thursday). The actual coupon can be found in the newspaper on your penny item day! Florida does not participate in the penny item promotion. Leave a comment below if your store offers a different item!

WHERE is the penny item coupon? My Publix (on Montclair Rd, Birmingham) has moved the penny item to Wednesday, says that they now require the coupon, and NOW it is located in the ACTUAL PAPER rather than in the Wednesday sales flyer… I read the paper, but I can’t find the coupon. (Likely they have buried it in the Sports section where I fear to tread.) Anybody know where this is in the Birmingham News?! THANKS!
Usually it’s in the first section, inside the front page (page 2A) at the very bottom. Today it’s on 2A underneath the Mazer ad.
Do you know if its valid for the publix diet green tea too?

Thank you Steph for pointing out that it is not in the flyer! I looked over the flyer twice this morning trying to figure out how I was missing it. I guess I’ll have to dig through the entire paper now.
Ok. I’m stumped. I’m in Atlanta- Can someone tell me EXACTLY where it is in today’s AJC? I don’t intend to get it, but I haven’t been able to find it in the Thurs paper for the past month. Thanks!
