I handed my coupons at beginning and the cashier scanned each one after each item. At the end my total was $16.01 and she was giving me back the $5/$30 coupon because "I didn't spend $30.00". I told her that's because she scanned the coupons as she went along (I had $23.00 in coupons!!!). She then said it has to be $30.00 AFTER coupons! After some back and forth a supervisor/manager came over. He asked what the total was before coupons but since she did it that way, she couldn't answer. He told her to go ahead and accept the $5/$30 coupon but it really should be AFTER all coupons (as of when????). I let him know that I was not aware of this policy but I was grateful for his help. I plan on calling or emailing them tomorrow to find out if this is indeed their policy or if it's just my store that set their own rules! They keep up with their age and send the preschool club stuff now. The preschool usually doesn't have the coupons, though, but some pretty cool gifts. My son loves it.
