I worked in a backery for 5 years and also did wedding cakes on the side. So my fam expects from me. I usualy make a super bowl cake with the two teames helments butting heads. but this year I was like enough and I got cupcakes from publix all decorated. My yongest is learning how to walk and thats time you cant take back. And I love Publix cake tast the best out of any store I have ever tryd. Love it. For my husband's birthday last month I wrestled with buying a cake or making one. Even though I was pressed for time, I decided to go ahead and make it. I made one of the stacked presents cake, all personalized to my husband's interests. I spent four hours making, baking and decorating this cake. As I put on the last little top piece, I bumped the board with my hip and sent the cake flying off the counter where it landed upside down. I was in total shock, not even realizing the dogs were having a cake fest. I scooped up the disaster and sat down. Thankfully, I had time to go to Publix and order the cake in time for the party. Moral of the story? If you're already pressed for time, don't push yourself or you'll end up at the Publix bakery anyway. Don’t feel bad about getting a Publix cake.
