Weekly Totals

January 29, 2010

I had a successful shopping week. I brought home a ton of stuff and was still under budget!!

This week I spent $24.66 for over $256 worth of groceries!!  That means I saved about 91% this week.  I shopped at both Kroger and Publix this week as I just couldn’t pass up all that FREE Kraft cheese.  Yes you are seeing it correctly I have over 30 packages of cheese.  I have to say it was perfect timing as I was down to 3 packs in my freezer…so hopefully I am good until the next great sale!!  I will also send in for my Dole rebate icon smile Weekly Totals

How did you get free cheese? Mine was .49 each. Went to hwy 5 location. BTW was in the Carrollton store and they limit you to 3 coupons per 1 product….so we left there and went to “old faithful”.

    • Michelle says:

I used overage and coupons to get the majority FREE–not all of them were free but they were super cheap
The $1/1 philly Q made them free without trying!

  2. Jo says:

I shopped both Publix and Kroger this week. (Kroger was 2 trips):

    Publix: Spent $6.91 for $117.14 worth, saved $110.23 = 94%
    Kroger: Spent $1.79 for $64.13 worth, saved $62.34 = 97%

  3. Sara says:

wHAT IS “CAT” AND WAS IT AN OVERAGE???!

  4. Sara says:

Michelle-Maybe i’ve missed this but would you possibly make an overage area, especially with overages you see? The knox overage is going to be huge for me. I’ve ordered 20 extra coupons in addition to the 4 I have from the papers. Also, do you know of any websites that specialize in trading coupons? Thanks! Your site is awesome!

  5. jennifer says:

It looks like the todd stephens link is some kind of spam FYI!!!! Be careful!

  6. Ashley says:

Can someone tell me about the Knox overage and which coupon ad that was in? Thanks!

I recently found out about this coupon trading web site but I have not tried it yet – http://ecoupons.com/grocery

  7. Janet says:

You’re killing me with those Kroger Mega deals. I still miss Kroger so much. I really miss not being able to do one stop shopping anymore. I’m happy for you though. LOL
